Son's home coming
« on: November 11, 2019, 09:06:01 PM »
Kind of late but fits in well with today. My son made it back into Oklahoma Friday at 15:30 and the oldest grandson football game was at 19:30 so what started out as a small surprise turned into a large one. When we found that he was going to be home on Friday I made a call to the coach and asked if the son could sneak into the locker room before the game to surprise the grandson. The coach said that he had a better idea that we sneak the sun down on the field and have him hold the tunnel and he could surprise him there, which I said that would be fine. He calls be back the next day and said the school wanted to do a little more. After the teams come out and the huddle up they would announce the son and they would have the grandson run over and welcome him home. Well it worked out great the grandson had no idea and didn't tackle dad on the field. I do have a video but I'm not that good of a cameramen.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
