All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way;  and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

I know the Word give us a message right when we need it.  I have to constantly remind myself, before I can be obedient, I have to be available.

It has been awhile since I was lumped into the getting fired NCO crowd.  I'll have to work on that.

But, you were a Sergeant
so
to me
that means you are always hoverin' near something wrong
n
gettin in trouble.
Trick that I learned from having been an NCO, and then later becoming "learned" in the ways of the Warrant
is to
Let you guys
   self ignite
While stayin close enough to have a little fun
but
remainin' far enough away
so as not to actually get burned myself!

There is a reason that every officer in charge of anything has a senior NCO assigned to them.  It is to present the illusion that they are in charge while keeping them from hurting themselves or others.

Also, things have to get done some how.

Not to junk up this wonderful thread, Truly, NCO's are the core, the soul, and the backbone of our very successful Army. Probably the same in the other services as well. We officers would be pretty useless without you NCO's. The excellence of the NCO corps inspires us to be better leaders, deserving to lead such men. I feel that we sometimes fall short of the mark

And circling back to where we should be here, I give the credit and the glory to Jesus and God.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

So true,
We have all seen this.
And we all know that when they become teenagers through the point shortly after they leave home, they will likely depart from the teachings of the Lord. But as time seasons all of us, the immovable, undeniable truth which is God will have its effect. Often crying, sometimes stumbling, sometimes flat on our faces, we will return to he who created us.

And yet we can be so easily condemned!

TO realize the depth of our depravity is to begin to understand the love God has for us by extending us his grace. Truly, grace is biggest thing God gives us past forgiveness through the Christ, Jesus.

Sorry, Matt, not a word of the day, just an observation about the word of the day.
