There it's done with room for more.

When you leave things parked in tight like that in a barn for presumably a long time like over winter, do you do anything to try to keep mice from building nests or eating through wires, destroying seats, etc?  I am finding them starting to live in my equipment that doesn't move often.
We use a product called fresh cab. It works pretty good. You have to throw a new bag in every couple months.
My brother in law is an exterminator. He put bait stations all around all the buildings. We don't have much trouble with rodents in the sheds anymore. More so with the equipment that has to stay outside.

Our dirt hauling job is done just in the for me to throw out my back. Wife had to tie my shoes for me this morning. Heading to the chiropractor later today. Better heal up quick next job starts Monday. Hauling millings from an asphalt plant to a local feed lot for thier drive way. Then manure hauling starts up after that. There seems to be more money in trucking than farming these days.

One night I came home late and found my wife asleep in bed...wearing her cowboy boots!

She went to some country concert with her girlfriends and maybe had some wine. Upon arriving home she struggled with getting the things off, but without me to help pull them off, she just gave up

I wish I had a pic of that...!

Boot jack!

Who'd have thunk it?

And one of the two stores in in Florence KY, the next town over!
They work great. I bought my wife the ariat model because it is/was made in the USA and the same price as all the others.

This weekend I emptied every kitchen cabinet and cleaned, exterminated and thinned our stuff we didn’t use and reorganized.  In ten seconds the family will have it gorked up

Then pulled everything out of the laundry room including the W/D. Replaced a piece of base molding and then painted and cleaned and will reinstall the W/D with the door opening opposite so wife can toss easier from W to D. Then clean out the cabinets and organize everything. When the weather dips below 100 I’ll install some LED cam lights in there.

I crawled in my attic to verify some hot spots in the master bed room were lacking insulation.  I was correct

This is the worst area.  That’s the drywall you can see instead of fluffy pink insulation

Again poor quality work.

This is the backside of the white drywall,

I was present for a lot of it but I had a surgery for a few weeks out, I also had other homes to build.   I really couldn’t have imagined of all the subs we had. That the insulation guy was seemingly the most likely to neglect

Sent the youngest child off to her first day of high school! Kind of funny that I am no longer going to school after all these years-she was very excited and texted during the day replying to my inquiry as to how it was going. Trying out for volleyball this afternoon!

Took the family out on the boat last Friday. Was a fun but long day for the first day out with it.

With the new prop it does 40mph but still plows a little on launch. Was turning the 4.3 at 4200rpm, so there might be a bit more in there.

Fass 150 on my LBZ started growling at me today. I didn't register it. Didn't know I had to so no warranty. New pump is right at $300. My question is will my truck still run if the pump goes out all together?

If I remember correctly FASS says the CP3 will pull fuel through their pumps just fine if they’re not working.

Go to a local auto repair who has the GM Tech 2 for programming my BCM that needs replacing. Over $900 so I have dash lights, no way.

They won't program if I bring in my own BCM (1/3 price).

I got a hold of the shop that did the work right away when it started growling. They called Fass. Found out they only warranty for one year if you don't send in the paper.
Apparently they also said if you don't buy it through an authorized dealer there is no warranty at all. So, they kinda got me in a corner here. I didn't send in the paper so no warranty AND I have to the replacement parts through their "authorized dealer" or they wont have warranty either.

Woke up this morning to some fraudulent charges on my bank account, lots of charges for about $200ish dollars.  I mean lots.

All were still reading as pending charges so took quick action to get with my bank and lock things up and down.

They did a brief investigation and decided I had met traveled to the east coast, I hadn’t been overseas and processed my claim to return my account to as it was and send me all new cards and so forth

Sure makes you feel really vulnerable to have accounts just instantly become empty.     Cash is king.  Until you loose your wallet lol

Happens to me about once a year Dave.  One reason I use only credit cards.  I never ever use a debit card or ATM card to purchase anything.

With CC you dont have a direct pipe into your bank account and your have more rights against fraud.

Not profiling, but usually happens after going to a Chinese food restaurant.

That’s interesting that you have it happen that often, I haven’t had an account issue in years and years.     My routine doesn’t change much.  Purchases are usually at well known stores.
I don’t know if I could manage the cc well enough to run everything through that

Talking point with the wife I guess

Yeah. It takes some discipline to
Paying all off and not carry a balance. I also use a cc that gives me 2% into a college fund for the kids. Everything goes on the cc and then gets paid off each month. It’s free money. I think there’s 60k in free money in their fund now.

The wife and I have talked about it in the past, what card is giving you the college fund?
My company uses cap1 and we run everything through it.  All purchases from the home construction process. All! Than we pay it off from the bank with the construction loan draws.   It’s three% back on every home built above the fee charged to build it

The wife and I have talked about it in the past, what card is giving you the college fund?
My company uses cap1 and we run everything through it.  All purchases from the home construction process. All! Than we pay it off from the bank with the construction loan draws.   It’s three% back on every home built above the fee charged to build it

Feels great to turn the page Mike.

Dave.  Fidelity has a college rewards program card.  Mine is grandfathered and provides more rewards.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Well. Hernia getting fixed tomorrow morning.
My doc sent me to a surgeon who said we’re fixin it.
So here we are.

I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

So far this morning I’ve talked to Nate on the phone, replied to his grilling thread, and I am about to go and put this nightmare of a home sale/purchase to bed!  Keep your fingers crossed-otherwise you may hear about me on the evening news! Just kidding but still funny!

Mike, seeing how I am only seeing this well past days end, I hope it is officially done and behind you.
