Its a good idea. That LS motor is a keeper. so freshen it up with a few cubic inches and the latest and greatest. I mean 460 ftlbs is nothing to sneeze over. That's some real useable power for a truck

I don’t think I have ever heard any gripe about that ol 6.0 gas motor besides gasmailage. I knew 12 and it didn’t matter what was behind it from my three rail little bike trailer to the big ugly enclosed work trailer. 12 12 12 12 all day long!! But it pulled well, it sounded great and I was happy.... until I drove a duramax lol

Ya, my LQ4 powered Hummer H2 SUT got 11.3 all day and all night. Was not fast, but never broke down or failed to 1. Run, 2. Suck gas, 3. Sound great!
Frankly, I'm tickled to have another one.

So basically they took the 6.2 in my denali and bumped the displacement and lowered the compression and put it in the HD.....
That along with the AFM will give it better mileage potential. My Denali gets 25 on the highway thanks to the cylinder deactivation
