What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for everything the lord has blessed me with this year.

I am thankful for a roof over my head.

I am thankful to have been blessed with an awesome woman / best friend / partner by my side.

I am thankful to be a part of a group of men that help each other learn and grow.

Heavenly father, please end the madness that this world is suffering with, and please let the men and women across this earth who are answering their nations call to help defend peace a moment of silence where they can take a breath and a drink of water.

I am thankful for grace from the father
I am thankful for my life of abundance
  An abundance of experience
  An abundance of good memories
  An abundance of love that I both receive and give
I am thankful for being given the opportunities I have had
I am thankful for seeing the things I have seen
I am thankful for being allowed to live my dream
I am thankful for friends
I am also thankful for the lessons my enemies taught me
I am thankful for having worn the uniform and done some tough things
I am thankful that life can provide challenges
  Because life happens in dealing with those challenges
I am thankful that I was born an American
I am thankful that I was born in a lower middle class family that didn't have very much
I am thankful for having a father who flew and did some pretty tough things himself
I am thankful for my mother who grew up dirt poor and as an orphan
I am thankful for the fact that my dad did not buy me my first car, but made me go earn the money
I am thankful that I had a minimum wage job $1.15/hr of hard labor to buy that car
I am thankful that I went hungry quite a lot when I was a soldier because I could only pay for food or gas, not both.
I am thankful that earthly life does not go on forever
I am thankful that I am an eternal creature and I will someday return to heaven and live with my father there.
