Had to take the day off with a sick kid, fever and a nasty cough.

I’m doing the same today. I don’t think she’s sick but she vomited yesterday on the way home from daycare and they have a 24hr rule.

35 now with a 18 month old.

39 in November. Met my future bride when my stepson was 5 and I've been Dad ever since. My daughter turns 9 this year in Sept, so I've got a good gap there, but oh well, I'm used to raising only children anyhow. Watch out Tex, Sam's moving to New Braunfels this summer. His lady's got a scholarship and family out that way.
Sam from middle of nowhere Sam?

That’s close. Well start a Texas chapter

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Just working on the camper some. Changed out all the lights to LED. Made a big difference. Checked bearings and shakles. Took all the curtains and shades out. My Mother in law is going to make us some new black out curtains. Just about pulled my hair out getting permits to run into Iowa with the semi. I hauled a fire truck over there a couple weeks ago to get fixed. Now I have to go back and get it. I didn't get permits the first time. I thought I better not press my luck. Picture is from when I dropped it off. I can't remember if I already posted it or not.

Why would you need permits? Doesn't look to wide, heavy or to long?

Is it like Ca where they have to get their piece for interstate?

Been working with some of the guys at the gun club to expand the selection of steel we have on the range.  Thinking we could do it cheaper by purchasing a sheet of steel and having it laser cut.  Problem is a standard sheet of 1/2" AR500 is 48" x 120" and that is a lot more steel than we need.  I'm going to propose we use the remaining space to cut several sets of Know Your Limit gongs and sell them to help offset some of the cost.  Wondering if anybody here would be interested.  A set would include a 12", 10", 8", 6", 4" and 3" gong laser cut from 1/2" AR500.  I'm going to propose we ask $125 per set (normal retail is about $165-$175).  I should be able to ship them out to anybody that would be interested for $20 in a flat rate USPS box I think.  I'm thinking I should have 5 sets and hoping to have atleast a few sold before pulling the trigger.

Probably however you want to do it.  My guess is I will be spear heading this thing which means I will be paying for everything, selling what I can and hoping I get reimbursed for the difference when it's all said and done.

Is this all happening soon? Or are you still a month or so out? I’d love a set as I could use them from the back patio... but I don’t know what’s on the horizon as far as where we’ll be moving.... just yet

The rear mulchbed sounds like a tank trap, we had better warn big D!!!!

While I don’t much care for driving through mud, watching others do it is acceptable So I’m all for a mud bog!

I have a feeling you will get instantly vetoed when you take the plans to your wife.

We have plans of mostly grass/sod in our front yard.  Going to do some more detailed landscape in our back, need a RV pad area for three trailers, fire pit to landscape around, water shed to manage here in this area. I think I might dig a massive hole backfill with a load of gravel and dump all my house run off water in it and cover with dirt and sod.  Some flower beds and retaining wall

The way I read it, he backed of the driveway with one tire, and needed to put in in 4x4 to prevent the other tire from spinning on the concrete to exit said mud bog.    Could be wrong though.

I might be very wrong, but I have always been told to over seed in the fall for the seed to be ready in spring. Was thinking maybe you should rake some seed into the front yard for when it starts to warm up it’ll have a decent chance of coming up. But sod is of course quicker, or hydro seeding it.

Had an Estate sale today, kicked my but! Made some good coin but got ripped off too for a silver dinning set.

USO fund raiser at sons school after that. $100 for 4 tickets, then I bought 12 cup cakes at auction for $90.

What's the math on those cup cakes...??? $7.50 apiece?

Sounds like you got ripped off a couple of times

Time for new shoes on the komatik. I’d hazard in the area of 20k miles on this set. Forgot a finished picture but it’s new 3/4 UHMWPE.
Haven’t broke a board or rope holding it together for that matter yet either. Been a good sleigh.

Nope, someone took the whole thing. Nice wood case, flip up top with 2 drawers and padded slots for all the silverware.

Today was busy for a few hours. Mostly furniture now and the fridge, will try just Sat next week.

Camry I got for the daughter stopped today, just a bang and it died. Pretty sure it is the timing belt since I had already bought everything for that as it has 158k on it.

Was at a good spot though at the end of our street, AAA coming to get it now since it is raining and dark.

Do a compression check on it Sun and go from there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

JR, must be a day for daughters vehicles to take a crap....

Baylee’s Xj shows little to no oil pressure. She shut it down right away and called me. Has oil, no tick when running and guage moves ever so slightly when you start it up. Drove it home the whole 3/4 of a mile and went to Napa bought a new sending unit. Then we had to go to church so I’ll grab tools in am from shop and swap it out. Fingers crossed...
