“We Were Soldiers” Story of Lt. Col. (General eventually) Hal Moore whose home town was Bardstown, KY. (Tripped over that on Bourbon tour) He was the REAL deal and made Patton look like a “_____” , as I recall his Sgt. Major referred to Custer in the movie.
MUST see movie in my book of flicks to click! Chopper pilot played by Greg Kineer would make Don proud.
-
I met him years ago at a reunion of first cav veterans. Bad ass doesn’t begin to describe him. And the guy that introd me to him had some combat medals of his own ina Huey.

All of them did
Helo pilots may have our defining moments
But
Never
are we above those brave souls who ride inside, and very notably, step off and into that hell storm that we aviators get to fly away from.
They are the real heros.

I turned them off!
Called them and told those liberals to remove me from their freedom hating organization. THey are progressive libtards, and I'll have nothing to do with them!

It is a blessing to me as well as to all of you, and I think we are kingdom building here, so as the knuckleheads like to say: "Its all good!"

Hmmm, I own that shirt!
Fakers
Hollywood wannabe's
Give those empty shirts a rifle and have them fall in behind Bobby or some others on this site, and just see how long they last before crying for their momma!

Reminiscing...
That would be Kandahar, I'd say sometime in the spring of 2010
