SGT Darras served in Iraq twice.  he was there during the surge in 07/08 and again 09/10 (4th BDE 2ID).

SGT Darras did not have any visible wounds, and he was not physically injured.  SGT Darras's demons got the better of him when he was 4 months returned from deployment and 3 months from getting out of the Army.

He was found in his APT 24 DEC 10 and had been dead for atleast a day.  he was/is buried 4 JAN 11 in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery just outside of Muskogee, OK.

On this day of remembrance, may we pause and honor all of our fallen, and reach out to those who've served with our respect, prayers and support; today and every day!

God Bless all who've worn the uniform- you have my solemn gratitude and thanks.

Thank you to SGT Darras and all who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  May one day the youth of our country wake up and realize what many gave so that they may be oblivious to danger.

Thanks to all who went before us and God's blessing on them as well as the ones that didn't make it. There are so many fighting inside because of what they saw and had to do. I am praying for them' specially today.
