I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Finally pulled the trigger on the scope. It is a Vortex Viper HS LR 4-16x50.I don't have a rifle vise so had to jury rig up kinda one. Trying to keep everything level. I think it is a level as I can get it after tightening it all down. Good eye relief and nice cheek weld height. I'll have to bore sight first and then now that it getting nicer get out and SHOOT. Quick question. Do you guys loctite your scope ring bolts? All done and back to the Safe. Had to modify the lense cover that came with it. Too tight on the front to rail. I also have to go back this morning and swap out the high rings to extra high rings so I would have front clearance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are. Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!
If you have a chance after you get some trigger time in, would you like to drop some reviews in the review thread?
I am not the gun expert you guys are. I go through a dealer. I recently found a Savage .270 at a big box store for $400. I almost grabbed it but I gave my guy a call. He ordered the exact same gun for me plus 2 boxes of shells he lock tighted the scope AND sighted it in for me. Price $405.
