Glad that worked out for you Don. Knee stuff is no fun (mucho bad experience here), glad the recovery is going well.
Good news on not needing a replacement right away.! Sounds to me Don like you having a well functioning knee is part of His Plan. Ditto on the not skimping on proper PT. I had a "bucket handle" tear in my right meniscus back in '96. Dr. Martini removed the center, said I "had plenty of good rim left and should be able to go a long time without trouble". I walked out (well, on crutches) did my PT duty for several months and today I'd have a hard time telling which knee it was. I will say the PT got much harder after the original sweet young Miss therapist went back to school and was replaced by a yankee, haha. Martini has since done my XYL's knee and shoulder. I kept the pressure on her through her PT regimens and she had great outcomes as well. That 300 looks like it fits the younger Pre-Ranger quite well. Both of them actually. You might have to see if you can negotiate a volume purchase of more parts...Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

And do destructive devices too. Goal is more along a military line of thinking than public sales, but selling and transfer of weapons may be something we can do in the not too distant future. If I decided to offer that publicly, then I think we'd divert the profits from all that back into missionary work and keep nothing for ourselves.Let's not make a big deal of this, but just monitor the subject to see if it takes off at all...

I’d be all for bringing back public executions for people like the guy who shot up the school two days ago. A few pieces of trash like him hanging from a rope at the courthouse may discourage others from doing the same. At this point I don’t see what we have to lose by trying. I think you are really going to like that. Just don't be attaching range finders and other stuff on it.
Couldn't help myself today.45/70 Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
^^^Not good for me to look at that!I have regular business trips coming up into the bush in Africa. I was looking for a good dependable bush gun. I just keep coming back to that snappy Marlin lever gun in 45/70. Fun for plinkin' or shooting at something thinking of making me the evening snack!
Real - men don't need no recoil pad. Get rid of that and go with a good steel butt plate so you can end up with a shoulder that looked like mine after shooting mine. LOLGood looking rifle, I have 2 45/70 rifles and love both just not the bruised shoulder

Shame on you for posting up pics!!Shawn, I had a choice between the Marlin and Henry. The henry action was tighter, and the machining a little more precise, and nicer furniture imo.I liked the Marlin lever/handle better, and also the gated magazine...just something weird about loading a rifle with your hand over the muzzle that seems "off". lol

If I were headed into the bush, and a short barreled Benelli M4 wasn’t an option. I think I’d be ok with one of the 18.5” 45-70 Marlins worked over by Superior firearms. They’re in Louisville Chief. http://www.superiorfirearmsllc.com/lever-action.htmlSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rule of law in these cases need to be executed swiftly.
