Title: Law and regulation regarding private drones???
Post by: Flyin6 on October 03, 2014, 08:03:58 AM
JR, world,

I hear the guberment is squeamish with regard to we civies picking up a "drone" capability. I suppose a camera on a quad is a drone!

Kind of like a 7 year old holding a broken strawberry pop tart up in the school cafeteria can be misconstrued into gun play worthy of suspension...sorry, I'm drifting...but aren't we gettin' a little control happy Mr. big brother???

So I hear there is regulation afoot and ah' comin...what do we know at the moment?

It is changing all time and the AMA (not the stupid one) is on our side with working with the FCC and the FAA with regulations.

Mostly it comes down to personal use is not really a problem for not for profit use.

Here is a site that keeps up up to date along with many RC sites that talk about.
