This swing toward socialism is sickening
Nike could have picked anyone, but they pick the controversial anti-American, American football player
Why? Cheap/free advertisement because of the controversial nature of this spoiled brat?
This nation is coming undone
-
Technically speaking they hired the guy who can’t even get employed as an athlete. That ought to work out real well for Nike.
-
My son just cut his Nike's up and threw them in the garbage. I asked him why he cut them up and he said "so nobody can ever wear them again". Made me proud. He was listening I guess. One saved millenial.

Should have took a video of that, maybe it would catch on. I have a set I’ll gladly cut in two, thinking I’ll put em in the bandsaw & video it.....
-
I don't have a pair to cut up, and won't have now for sure. Such a waste on such a waste.
-
Well, apparently fire is the method of choice for destroying Nike gear

yup and that it was one of the first shoe companies to outsource to bangladesh and china back in the 80s, means I haven't owned a pair of nikes in more than 20 years.
Watch how fast their stock drops.
-
Stock already took a dip today :likebutton:
-
If I had a pair I would find some way to destroy them.

Been wearing NB forever, but they are a bit shady in their marketing approach (supposedly Made in USA)
-
youd be hard pressed to find athletic shoes made in usa. In the 90s some of the last factories left the US for china.
Too many good options to buy from someone who promotes garbage like Kapernick
-
I personally gave up on Nike after my last set of running shoes. I still have them but use them as a set of everyday whatever shoes (I have several sets that fall into this category). I now buy only hoka one running shoes which are manufactured in China but unlike the nikes my knees and hips do not hurt after a run.
Btw, the only thing this goofball is qualified to endorse would be knee pads....
-
Just gonna go ahead and keep wearing my nikes. I have one pair, my get around shoes. I don’t feel my purchase of $22 bucks went to anything special other than a light pair of shoes that don’t smell like my work boots
However I doubt I will be buying anything from them again.
I am to cheap to by everyday shoes. Need a new set of work boots for the winter

I have one pair. Probably 3 years old. Only wear them once in a while. Probably keep wearing them until they wear out.

In the broader sense it is confirmation at the highest corporate levels that the population of the United States has gone dumb!
