Some of these may not be written in stone, Don reserves the right to do whatever he wants with the site that he owns. However, let's lay out a few ground rules to keep everybody on the same page.
We reserve the right to amend these rules from time to time.
Ignoring or breaking any of these rules is grounds for deleting the thread or post.
Habitually breaking the rules of the forum will be grounds for deactivating membership.
- No porn
- At no time will sexual assault of any kind (talk, referencing, acceptance, committing, etc) ever be accepted here!
- At no time will Racist Behavior of any kind (talk, referencing, acceptance, committing, acting, etc)ever be accepted here!
- No "subd" posts, these will be deleted with extreme prejudice. If you want to subscribe, click the "NOTIFY" button on every thread
- Keep the cursing to a minimum, I understand we're not a bunch of angels around here, but pure vulgarity won't be tolerated
- Remember why we are all here. Common interests, fellowship, learning, entertainment... notice "bickering" isn't on that list
Not a rule, but a request from your friendly neighborhood admin. Please try to host images on the web and link to them in threads (see the other sticky in this board) vs just attaching. Attachments take up storage space that is somewhat limited right now. As the site grows we'll be able to change that, but try to go a little easy as we get off the ground (no 40MB movie uploads please).
Imgur for pictures
Youtube for movies

We'll see about that! ;D
...and I don't think it's Navy specific when it comes to cursing.

I'm not clear on what a "subd" post is...I'm not much of a computer/forum guy. The only other forum I've been on a "sub" meant you were subscribing to the thread so it showed up in your "favorites" for easy access? I'm I clueless again?
-
Naw Steve, it means the same. That was Overwatch's pet peave. He is, and has been, MIA for a while.
He wanted you to actually say something in a post, rather than just "subd".
-
Or just click the subscribe/notify button rather than reply with "sub" and clutter the thread. Nobody cares now though :)
