I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are. Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!

After I finished a night land nav course, I was waiting for the rest of the people to finish when I got a phone call from one of the guys from my platoon still out on the course. This takes place about 0000-0100ish.Him: " I'm lost.."Me: " Where are you roughly? Which point/grid were you heading to?" .... I knew which lane he was working so I was looking at my map at this time.Him: " I don't know, I fell in a hole and rolled down a hill.."Me: " You hurt? what do you see around you?"Him: " Trees, dirt and a hill.."Me: " You have your weapon and SI?"Him: " Yea"Me: " Well suck it up and use the panic azimuth (took you back to a certain road intersection) and figure it out"He passed the course, FYI.
