Had a doctor's appointment and had extra time so went the long way so not my normal route I take. Sorry I didn't think to take a picture I will try to go back that way soon and get one. Few years ago a church was hit by a tornado it was beyond repair so they demolished it but the church marquee was still there. When I drove by the marquee read "Bang'em" and I was first thinking what kind of church is this. I missed the small print "Fireworks " I laught at myself so hard just gad to share

So Sam, I am confused. Is it a river or reservoir fed by a river accounting for the flow?
Technically it’s a river.
We’ve created the reservoir by the dam.

So it’s a reservoir fed by the river.
Hope that didn’t make it worse. Lol.

I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

No, but if you have extra tools to discharge the batteries with, I could probably put them to use.

What charger is it? I'm good but would like to add a 12vDC for 20v charging.

That’s a nice 360 degree loop you have there. Is that to help the water acclimate before your spray it on the lawn?

Have to wonder why two shut off valves. So is that the supply to the valves for the sprinklers? Not sure what is happening there but is the whole thing above the frost line?

So like the water to your home here. They have their valve, I have my valve.  I have had their cheap valve fail on other homes so I add my own and theirs can just exist.

So I broke the reducer on the valve side. Not sure how but I went to instal my filter last week and the housing was floppy so I examined to find it broke.

When I assembled the whole thing I did out of the dirt, with out a box with lots of room, I added the box then after I crushed the box Time and time again I poured cement around it.  So needless to say it’s not moving easy.

I could not just replace my parts, I had to create a service loop so I could install that filter replacement.

It’s all my secondary water for the yard needs

Suffering through setting up my new MacBook. Had an ASUS Microsoft computer for many years, but two days ago it refused to boot up any longer. It's been failing regularly and I already purchased this Mac book.
I ended up with a mess, and not fully up yet. The learning curve on this apple stuff is annoying. I don't see what all the hype is about so far. In my view, this Apple is not intuitive nearly as much as the Microsoft stuff was. I suppose it really just based on the user's experience. I have never used an Apple before for any length of time, so the curve is pretty steep at the moment.

I used windows since the Triassic era. Apples are so different. Girlish, flimsy, weak, like unsweetened tea...
I feel less like a man just typing on this skinny keyboard
But, their cardboard packaging is the best in the world!
And
I think it talks to my phone, cause everything that was once on my phone is now on my laptop too!
Using this Apple has made me a more sensitive guy.
I still like girls, but I can see where typing on this girly keyboard might do some strange chit to my brain over time. Just hoping it will never have me thinking Democratic Party thoughts!
I started wondering why all you people feel you need to own a gun?
I'm OK, I think. I just care more about colors and things like that now...and...I can't post pictures anymore...

Monster energy drinks two a day!

Coffee with a splash of crème in the winter.  Usually a small mug before I leave the house

I can see creme and sugar sometimes. But when it takes 5 minutes to order and 10 to make.

I still do a cheap energy drink now and then.

Looks like we’ve sold our condo.
Listed 48 hours ago.
Great timing I suppose.
Hope we didn’t list too low.

But it gone I think so that is good.

Had been bought when our boy was in university.
Has since been rented to him, then within his group.
The last of the 912 gang has bought their own so the timing was good.

Been puttering with trim work on the sunroom. I’m a framer not a finisher. So I hate trim, carpet all that crap.

Started at the table saw with the resawn cedar.

Heck of a pile of sawdust. And not a lot done. But alas, some trim work is done.

So now just windows left. And that I’m totally not looking forward to. The cedar boards and the window frames are not exactly aligned, nor are they any two the same.
So yeah, not looking forward to that.

Because of the cedar.

Today. Well. Today I hauled rock. Like a few tons of it. The wave action keeps undermining the bottom of the crib. So with still good ice to work on I moved a lot of rock.
Didn’t have my phone for an as found picture. But there was nothing at the bottom all the way round. So after two rounds of work and about four hours I’m calling it a day…

Some of the far right in behind that ramp section was all that was there.

Trip after trip. Four to six boulders at a time. The poor quad was squatted right out with no give.

All the way from the far end up top here.

My 4wd quit today of all days. Not sure if it’s a connection or a speed sensor or worse. It made navigation of the ice and mud a bit more adventure than I wanted.

One of the few pucker moments.

Just some tracks…

The wicked witch is dead!
You folks may have kept up after my ASUS laptop died. Turned out to be a mother board...
Then I went and picked up a MacBook pro 14 in
Well, ever since turning on that thing every flippin thing I have had to do has been one continuous wrestling match.
As of 0-dark thirty this AM, I decided to can it.
Yup, disconnected the satanic thing.
Went out and picked up a new ASUS laptop and man, just like that I am up and running seamlessly again!
Ya, by using MS Edge, everything from before just loaded right up and just like that I am on easy street not double parked in the Apple hi-rent tow away zone with two flat tires.
I am happee!
Intel 7 processor, 16 gig RAM, 512 gig solid state hard disc, Office 365, some video and graphics card and all for a grand.
Yippee

Awesome. And awesome about the post office too

I put the wife on a Mac years ago because she was forever getting malware.  Apple makes it harder for people to get malware.

I’m still on PC

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Wife likes HP for some reason and pays double the normal price getting the boys chromebooks for school. All are crap.

I like Acers and dells, had great luck with them. Got the youngest a lenovo as it had the processor and video card he liked.

I have a Lenovo I use to tune with HP Tuners, and now on my second ASUS in a row. Guess I like computers that start with "A"

The 5K is in the books had a great time and good turn out

Congresswoman Bice shut down one of the people that didn't like the idea of the naming of the post office in Bret's honor. She was nice, professional yet made the laddy look like a fool. I enjoyed it

I don’t think HP has anything to do with HP tuners.

HP is crap. Dell for me all the way.

What's the ice doing?
Post it over on "Big Ice"
pretty please
I was hoping to see some epic piling up of titanic ice blocks...Was thinking of glaciers calving icebergs...
But in a big pond and a couple of dams, I guess I was hoping for too much
Fascinating nevertheless

Still all boring chief.
Most up to date are there. Well except for the one out the window this morning.

The icebergs are ah comin’.

Not sure how epic they will be usually just football field sized chunks floating along.
But we shall see every one of em.

***update in big ice boss.

And as I set on mamas swing chair I’ve noticed that the trees have begun to push buds.
Spring has officially arrived.
