Message from the Owner / Site Cost...Possible changes

Ladies and Gents.

Our hosting company has sent me a rather sizeable bill to maintain the premium services we have here at RealMan.
I have paid $30 monthly for the site, which is a wash, and I'm fine with it. But it seems that is never enough. I have to buy all sorts of additional services just to insure the thing actually functions!
I have a bill for nearly $600 in front of me at the moment which I refuse to pay. Fellas, it's a lot, and I am just like everyone else. Having to pay a thousand dollars a year for this is a bit of a stretch for me, and this time I am not going to do it.
I can't seem to get them as they hide their human contact phone numbers.
I plan to move the site over to a server which I own in the future so there will be no costs at all and you can continue DOTing the thing up all you want. But for now, this bill for almost $600 isn't going to be paid. I hope we just don't disappear off the net, but it is a possibility, I'm afraid.
I'm working on it, but be prepared...

This guy should serve as a moving target!

WRITTEN BY A COP: Everyone should take 5 minutes to read this. It may save your life or a loved one’s life.

In daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation… This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children and everyone you know. After reading these 9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do :The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!

2. Learned this from a tourist guide. If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you… Chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.. The driver won’t see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR , LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:

A.) Be aware:look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor , and in the back seat.

B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

C.) Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side.. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; and even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably in a zig -zag pattern!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked ‘for help’ into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird.. The police told her ‘Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door..’ The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The policeman said, ‘We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door.’ He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby’s cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby.. He said they have not verified it, but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby’s cries outside their doors when they’re home alone at night.

10. Water scam! If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside running or what you think is a burst pipe, DO NOT GO OUT TO INVESTIGATE! These people turn on all your outside taps full blast so that you will go out to investigate and then attack.

Stay alert, keep safe, and look out for your neighbors!

Please pass this on.

This e-mail should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby Theory was mentioned on America ‘s Most Wanted when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana.

I’d like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle…

I was going to send this to the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it on to them, as well.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it’s better to be safe than sorry…

Faith Discussion / Mini sermon 5 False Prophets
« on: March 12, 2018, 09:55:07 AM »
The word I got this morning was a bit different from what I was expecting. Coming from the book of Jeremiah. In chapter 23 starting in verse 9 the word talks about lying prophets.
This is dangerous ground for us to consider. For many men appear to be “Holy men” but are they really??
Matthew 7:16 is clear and states that: By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?

Of course they don’t. They pick grapes…Only grapes come from grape vines.

So we have a metric here. If the guy is prophesizing on his way to the bar to meet his girlfriend that his wife knows nothing about, well, I think we can say his prophesy is less valuable than a campaign promise for transparency from the Obama people!

In the words of the following verses of Jeremiah, I find a warning for us of the America of today:

Jeremiah 23: 1 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the LORD. 2 Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done,” declares the LORD.

To me that is scary. God is saying you have scattered MY flock…(HIS!) Now who here feels like they want to be messing with the God of the universe?? OK, no one, good. You who think you have this, that you are bad enough, well, do yourself a favor, call “Naked and alone” or whatever that survival show is called and give that little 21 day trial a try. It will help ground you a bit and set your aim a bit lower.

God deepens his conviction and says he will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done…WHOA! Let me get off this train…Father allow me no successful effort in anything that works against the plans of or the kingdom of God.

Next, God says that although you screwed it up, he is going to fix it. Why you ask? Because he is the unchanging God. One agenda from the beginning, well before the beginning to some non-existing point. Remember God always was, and he always will be…as in never end. And change he does not. Although. Happily, knowing him does change us…or we really don’t know him!

Jeremiah 3 “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number.4 I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the LORD.

God will fix it. That’s good news. It tells me he is a wingman tucked in closer than any other I ever enjoyed in the military. He will complete the approach although from the last 20 feet down to rocky rollout I never saw the ground and I can only hope that Chalk 2 isn’t about to plow into my aft rotor system while the grunts are pouring out of the back of mine.

The word is a complex thing. Understood when we really surrender to his will and dive in, especially in that prayer closet where we go to meet him. Looking further into Jeremiah, we see a dour warning about those false prophets who pop up and paint the rosy, but incorrect picture.

Jeremiah 23 9-12: 9 concerning the prophets:
My heart is broken within me;
    all my bones tremble.
I am like a drunken man,
like a strong man overcome by wine,
because of the LORD
    and his holy words.
10 The land is full of adulterers;
because of the curse the land lies parched
and the pastures in the wilderness are withered.
The prophets follow an evil course
    and use their power unjustly.
11 “Both prophet and priest are godless;
even in my temple I find their wickedness,”
declares the LORD.
12 “Therefore their path will become slippery;
they will be banished to darkness
    and there they will fall.
I will bring disaster on them
in the year they are punished,”
declares the LORD.

False prophets mislead. False words (Lies) skew the truth and mislead. They can be sugar coated and on sale as a blue light special and we may be tempted to fill up our shopping cart and get all warm and fuzzy that we are on the right course.

But what if they are wrong. What if this great word is not true, how would I know? The answer is really easy. You see God seeks to have a personal relationship with each and every one of us. Not a watered down or generalized message like some of us get on Sundays. He doesn’t say, men and women of God. Nossir, he says, Jane or Bill, or Jimmy, I have this to say to you. He does this when you surrender to him and earnestly listen. Caveat: If you just had an argument with your wife that you didn’t ask forgiveness from, you aren’t likely going to give anything because you aren’t in the perfect will of God.

If you just cussed out your dog for leaving a deposit on the carpet, you mind aint right and you are not on God’s frequency. You have to do the inner personal sweep to identify everything outside the protective walls of your FOB and ask for forgiveness from it. Repent from it, wait a bit then seek his face. Ask to be blood washed and forgiven through the only one who can, Jesus, then in perfect submission, proceed. Then what you get is the truth. If it differs from the wall mart blue light special, I’d take that junk back for a full refund, it is all damaged goods!

God is very troubled and concerned by the damage of the words the false prophets have given to his people. He laments later on in Jeremiah where he says this:

Jeremiah 23 22:23 But if they had stood in my council,
they would have proclaimed my words to my people
and would have turned them from their evil ways
    and from their evil deeds.
23 “Am I only a God nearby,”
declares the LORD,
“and not a God far away?

If we would only have stood in his council…If we would have only just read the word, understood it, believed in him and stood on that, then…

So where are you on this? Christianity is more than saying I do! It is a change of you from what you were to something akin to the image of Jesus. Jesus was God! Get that? Do you understand that? He experienced a human life as a man. When he faced the temptations of power, of adultery, of lust, of drinking, of, well all our temptations as a mortal, he beat them all. He did what we would consider to be the impossible.

So how did he do that, and why is it that I cannot you ask? (Actually, being transparent here, I ask!) He did it because he always consulted the father. Remember the example of Jesus speaking to the prostitute at the well. He was asked what the law said concerning her fate? It said should two fornicate, they should be put to death, the man and the woman. But the man was nowhere to be found. While questioning, actually trying to entrap Jesus, he started drawing in the sand. He was asking the father, what do I say concerning this matter. The answer is one that points to the very heart of God himself. Jesus said, “Let he who has no sin, cast the first stone!”

Of course, save for he himself, there were none, nor have there ever been since that day, a sinless one. Mercy and grace triumphed over the law. The law would have won out in any court of the land here in the US. Well, actually, in these perverted days, a skewed version of the law would have triumphed. But in this earlier day, the simple, pure heart of a living God triumphed and true justice was served.

You have to get right with God. Or just forget it and have a great life because if you don’t come to know the savior of the world, this earthly existence with all its quirks, screwed up policies, crime, evil, waste, injustice and all the rest is the only heaven you will ever know!

Learn the word of God. Store it up. Replace the space where you store oil change numbers and cam lift profiles or bank statements with more useful, eternal things. Plant his word and go about replacing temporal stuff with things that will truly change you and others. Read and study Gods word and talk to him often. In the song “I can only imagine, the singer does not know what position he will take when meeting God. I think I will be plastered to the floor for the glory of his is beyond anything. But my spirit will be standing ten feet tall with hands raised high because finally, finally, I get to be with him!

A great WWll story...Mary Ellis, pictured during her time as an Air Transport Auxiliary pilot in WWII, celebrated her 100th birthday Feb 2017......

Tearing through the skies above the South Coast, two Spitfires evoke powerful memories
of Britain's wartime resilience.
But this stirring image holds a further poignancy– for in the cockpit of the lead aircraft
sits Mary Ellis, celebrating her 100th birthday by recreating her time as one of the ‘Ata-girls', the select gang of female pilots who flew Britain's fighters during the war.
And over her shoulder is one of the actual Spitfires she flew during her 1,000 flights as a
First Officer with the Air Transport Auxiliary.

'Wizard, this is wizard!' yelled the delighted centenarian through her intercom.
Mary was handed the controls of the 275 mph twin-seater as it swooped over West Sussex.
After about 15 minutes, she turned for home, and told her co-pilot Matt Jones: ‘Goodwood
on the nose, you have control …’ Then she settled back to enjoy the ride back to base.
Earlier, Mary watched in delight as Spitfire MV154 took its place beside her in an extraordinary airborne tribute.

It was a plane she had delivered to RAF Brize Norton from
Southampton on September 15, 1944, and it hides a sentimental secret.

For at the end of the 25-minute wartime flight, she signed the cockpit, scrawling her maiden name Wilkins and the initials ATA

Mary Ellis (circled) was handed the controls of the 275mph twin-seater as it swooped over
West Sussex.
She hoped her tag might be spotted by a handsome pilot and lead to a wartime romance –
although the impulsive act, a career one-off, didn't bag her a boyfriend.
Mary, originally from Oxfordshire, had her first flying lesson in 1938, and flew for pleasure until 1941 when she heard a BBC radio appeal for women pilots to join the auxiliary service and so release male pilots for combat duty.
Speaking at a surprise birthday party on Thursday, Mary said: ‘The war was a challenge and one had to do something about it. I went on and on until I flew everything. I love the Spitfire –
it’s my favourite aircraft, it's everyone's favourite, it's the symbol of freedom.'
For four years she ferried warplanes from factories to frontline squadrons. The 166 women of the ATA – about one in eight of the total – have been dubbed ‘The Female Few,’ echoing Winston Churchill's description of the RAF airmen who fought in the Battle of Britain.

Mrs Ellis looked back over her left shoulder and glanced at the aircraft she once flew.
Mary was usually found at the joystick of a Spitfire or a Hurricane but ultimately flew more than 50 types of aircraft, logging 1,100 hours of flight, much to the astonishment of some colleagues.
As she sat on the airfield ready to deliver her first Spitfire, the mechanic standing on the wing
asked how many of them she'd flown. When she said it was her first, he was so startled he fell
right off. The largest aircraft she flew solo was the Wellington bomber. After landing at an East
Anglian airfield, Mary was greeted by the ground crew who asked where the pilot was. ‘I'm the pilot,' she said. They insisted on searching the aircraft before they believed her.
It was dangerous work. Mary was sometimes ordered to move combat-damaged planes that
were not officially fit to fly, but had to be taken for repairs. She crash-landed twice and was
shot at once.

Mrs Ellis toasted a glass of champagne with co-pilot Matt Jones, managing director of Boultbee Flight Academy.
Fourteen of her fellow ATA female flyers lost their lives, including aviation pioneer Amy Johnson.

Mary – who to this day needs no spectacles, nor a walking stick – was one of the last six women
serving in the ATA when it disbanded after the war.

She remained a private pilot and then became managing director of Sandown Airport on the Isle of Wight. She married Don Ellis, a fellow pilot,in 1961, but was widowed in 2009. Matt Jones, who flies Spitfires for Goodwood-based Boultbee Flight Academy, reunited Mary with MV154 after first meeting her in 2015. He conspired with the plane’s current owner, pilot Maxi Gainza, to bring it to the UK from its base in Bremgarten, Germany.
He said: 'I gave Mary control of our Spitfire. I wasn’t sure where we were but Mary was very clear.
She pointed us towards Thorney Island, up through the Witterings, flew on to Selsey Bill and then Bognor Regis, never losing a foot of altitude.
‘She showed me precisely how she was able to deliver all those aircraft with just a map, a
compass and a stopwatch. I was utterly humbled by a superior aviator who also happens to be 60 years my senior!'

Mary Ellis was in a select gang of female pilots who flew during World War II.
She has now celebrated her 100th birthday by flying a plane over West Sussex.

Mrs. Ellis flew next to one of the Spitfires she was in more than 70 years ago....

Nine hundred teachers just got laid off from the Los Angeles Unified School District. They are $650,000 over their annual budget. The following comments by an English teacher help to explain one area that looms large over California's educational crisis. I hope each person receiving this mail will read it carefully, all the way to the end. It is sad what is happening to our great country, all because our politicians are afraid they will miss out on a vote. What a travesty!

From a California school teacher....

As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of: I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title-1 school, meaning that its students average in the lower socio-economic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about are Compton, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where their students are protesting – these are also Title-1 schools.

Title-1 schools are on the free-breakfast and free-lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking about a glass of milk and a roll. But a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make the Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (Our tax dollars at work!)

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. (More of our tax dollars at work!)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department, or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything. My budget was already substantial, but I ended up buying new computers for the Computer Learning Center, half of which, one month later, were carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (More and more of our tax dollars at work!)

I have had to intervene several times for young substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less than 3 months, who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them putas (whores) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical care, free education, free food, free day care, etc., etc., etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled not only to be in this country, but also to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society, because they happen to like their gardener and/or housekeeper, and they like to pay less for tomatoes, I say: Spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the true costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases, etc., etc., etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

Americans, we need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by age 15, and that refuses to assimilate, plus an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "political correctness," that we don't have the will to do what is needed.

Cheap labor? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about? Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce. Government will tell you 'Americans don't want the jobs.'

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an income tax return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200, free.

Also....

 1 He qualifies for Section-8 housing and subsidized rent;

 2 He qualifies for food stamps;

 3 He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care;

 4 His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school;

 6 He requires bilingual teachers and books;

 7 He qualifies for relief from high energy bills;

 8 If they are, or become aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI;

 9 Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare (All of this at taxpayer's {our} expense);

10 He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or
homeowner’s insurance;

 11 Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material;

12 He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour
in benefits;

13 Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after
paying their bills and his;

14 The American taxpayers also pays for increased crime, graffiti and
trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? Yeah right! Wake up people! These are the questions we
should be addressing to the Presidential candidates for either party.

This came from a union guy
in Chicago who didn't vote for Obama.   Very
interesting
perspective!                                     It will be interesting to
see what they put in his "Library" about his early
years now that he is out of office.
In a country where we take
notice of many, many facets of our public figures'
lives, doesn't it seem odd that there's so little we
know about Barack Obama?

 For example, we know that
Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was
accused of adultery; Abe Lincoln never went to school; Jack
Kennedy wore a back brace; Harry Truman played the
piano.

 As Americans, we enjoy
knowing details about our news makers, but none of us know
one single humanizing fact about the history of our own
ex-president.

We are all aware of the lack
of incontestable birth records for Obama; that document
managing has been spectacularly
successful.

 There are however, several
additional oddities in Obama's history that appear to be
as well managed as the birthing
issue.
 One other interesting
thing...   There are no birth certificates of his
daughters that can be found?
 It's interesting that no
one who ever dated him has shown up.  The charisma that
caused women to be drawn to him so strongly during his
campaign, certainly would in the normal course of events,
lead some lady to come forward, if only to garner some
attention for herself.  We all know about JFK's
magnetism, that McCain was no monk and quite a few details
about Palin's courtship and even her athletic prowess,
Joe Biden's aneurysms are no secret; look at Cheney and
Clinton, we all know about their heart  problems.
Certainly Wild Bill Clinton's exploits before and during
his White House years, were well known.  That's why
it's so odd that not one lady has stepped up and said,
"He was soooo shy.." or "What a great
dancer..."
 It's virtually
impossible to know anything about this fellow. Who was best
man at his wedding? Start there. Then check
groomsmen.
Then get the footage of the
graduation ceremony. Has anyone talked to the
professors?  It is odd that no one is bragging that
they knew him or taught him or lived with
him.
 When did he meet Michele,
and how? Are there photos there? Every president gives to
the public all their photos, etc. for their library,
etc.  What has he released? And who voted for him to be
the most popular man in 2010?  Doesn't this make
you wonder?

Ever wonder why no one ever
came forward from Obama's past saying they knew him,
attended school with him, was his friend, etc??  Not
one person has ever come forward from his
past.
 It certainly is very, very
strange...
This should be a cause for
great concern. To those who voted for him, you may have
elected an unqualified, inexperienced shadow man. Have you
seen a movie named "The Manchurian
Candidate"As insignificant as each of
us might be, someone with whom we went to school will
remember our name or face; someone will remember we were the
clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully
or something about  us.
 George Stephanopoulos of ABC
News said the same thing during the 2008 campaign.

He questions why no one has
acknowledged he was in their classroom or ate in the same
cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus.
Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia --
the class of 1984.  He says he never had a single class
with him.

 He is such a great orator;
why doesn't anyone in Obama's college class remember
him? Why won't he allow Columbia to release his
records?    Nobody remembers Obama at
Columbia University.

 Looking for evidence of
Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University
students from the period when Obama claims to have been
there... but none remembered him

 Wayne Allyn Root was, like
Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also
graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, "I
don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him,
and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever
knew Barack Obama at Columbia, ever."

 Nobody recalls him. Root
adds that he was also, like Obama, Class of '83
Political Science, and says, "You don't get more
exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life,
don't know anyone who ever met him.    At
class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was
asked to be the speaker of the class?   Me.
No one ever heard of Barack!
 And five years ago, nobody
even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class notes,
who's kind of the, as we say in New York, 'the
macha' who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a
human who ever met him."

 Obama's photograph does
not appear in the school's yearbooks and Obama
consistently declines requests to talk about his years at
Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any
former classmates or friends while at
Columbia.
 Some other interesting
questions:
 1.Why was Obama's law
license inactivated in 2002?   It is said there is
no record of him ever taking the Bar
exam.
 2...Why was Michelle's
law license inactivated by court order? We understand that
it was forced to avoid fraud
charges.
 It is circulating that
according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama
but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 alias' are
connected to him.
 The Social Security number
he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is reported
to have never lived. And was originally registered to
another man (Thomas Louis Wood) from Connecticut, who died
in Hawaii while on vacation there.
 As we all know Social
Security Numbers are only issued 'once, they are not
reused.  No wonder all his records are
sealed...
 Please continue sending this
out.  Somewhere, someone has to know SOMETHING, before
he reorganized Chicago?... SOMETHING!!!   He just
seemed to burst upon the scene at the 2004 Democratic
Convention.  ANYONE??? ANYWHERE???
ANYTHING???
I think soon much is going
to come to light about this highly unqualified person who
was President of the United States for 8 years.  Soon,
we will know how badly we were all doped and duped by this
impostor who has basically, with much help from his minions,
brought the greatest nation in history to its knees in
ruins.
 That will be his legacy.

He totally destroyed the
Integrity, morals and Christian heritage of our once great
country.

This pearl of history may have escaped you. I've always been

a student of history but I didn't know this:

In 1272, the Arab Muslims invented the condom, using a goat's lower intestine.

In 1873, the British refined the idea by taking the intestine out of the goat first.

Don't thank me;  I do this as a public service for the advancement of education.

Faith Discussion / Mini Sermon 4: Prayer Language/Courage
« on: March 08, 2018, 09:54:39 AM »
During my morning time with God today, I was reading in Romans. Although much (Most) of my reading this past year seems to be in the old testament...Think of it as the strong foundation upon which the New testament is built. It is a pretty good insight into who God actually is, and I love it there.
But yesterday, during a discussion with my pastor, he led me to another place, Romans. Now in my bible, I make notes, lots of notes. In fact Romans, chapter 8 is just a huge scribble from many different trips over the text. This reading I seemed to pull out something different, or I notice something that I hadn't before.
Although I went to the book specifically to Romans to look over 8:31 to the end, where Paul points out that we are more than conquerors, as is often the case, I will then read the paragraph or two preceding the message, and that's where I noticed this:
Romans 8:26-27 26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans . 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God.
To understand the point I am about to make, one needs to understand how the God head, the trinity works. God is God, and really all three of the Trinity. He gave his son to interceding us. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, he could now see mankind. Man is covered with sin. God cannot be anywhere near sin, so it’s like he can't see us, but he created us and he wants us to choose him and be with him forever. (Yippee!!!) So when we surrender to the Lordship of Jesus, then it’s as if the transparent human (Us) is suddenly filled with a red dye which is the blood of the Christ, and that is what God sees, the Jesus in us. So Jesus sits on high and intercedes for my inequities and speaks of my works and deeds and love for him and God. He makes petition for me when I pray for you or me or my family.
And then there is the spirit. (This guy is really cool!) The spirit talks to us in a rubber wall sort of way. The spirit can only act on or speak the word of God, so when we click over to the hot rod page on the computer, and right away a pic of some woman in a thong appears there sitting on the hood a new ZL1 Camaro, it’s the spirit that says "Get outta here, now!" It's the spirit that also says stop the car, go back and change that woman's flat tire...yea I know you're on your way to work and clean, but, change her tire.” That's the spirit.
He looks at the scene around you and he looks at your situation and he steers you along the path of God's will. That is of course if you’re listening. Christians doing the work of God are the ones listening to that small voice. Most do not I think because so much work is missing, and evil got so prevalent and accepted in our world. Evil exists because good didn’t act!
You see if you want strong biceps you don't just read health magazines and buy nutrients. You must you begin to exercise. Pick up a dumbbell (democrat)(...sorry, had to take the shot there, apologies Lord) and Curl that sucker every day increasing the weight and you'll build a larger more capable bicep. Want to hear the voice more clearly, then pick up the book with the scribbles in it and flip through some pages every day.
Read and reflect for a moment on this:
Romans 8:26-27 26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God
OK, copy all that, we good so far, does the warrant officer have you in the grip of understandin'? Well this is the part that caught my attention, verse 26: 26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans . Could the practical exercise of that verse be in part, speaking in tongue? I think, at least it is that way with me. Now many a person I have seen and spoken with does not think they have been given the gift of the prayer language. To them I say, dive in a little deeper my friend, it’s there. He will withhold nothing good from the kingdom from us who wish to use those gifts for kingdom building.
But more importantly, it is our time that we surrender our brain case group and voice actuator to the spirit. You allow him to speak in some language, one that we do not understand, but oftentimes someone nearby who hears it can actually understand it and interpret it! I aint makin' this up folks, its real. The spiritual world is a mystery to us, and mainly because a secular world has told you, "That's nonsense, its Holy Roller stuff and it’s embarrassing." May I take a moment to remind you that you aren't on this world or in this body but for the blink of an eye! Now if you had a problem with what I just said, and you want to continue kidding yourself and have a good day, today, then stop reading, because these verses following are goanna shake you up. Not my words, his:
Matthew 10:32-39 32"Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. 34"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law- 36a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' 37"Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Warning: Be careful how much you give in to secular life to fit in, my Marty milk toast lad, with your jelly filled, Kool aid pumpin' heart. Soldier up, or I’d be lookin’ for a swift sword headed your way and you can’t duck that fast!

I gave ya an extra space here... to allow that to resonate. That one sort of sits you a bit more upright doesn't it? In my weekly church service a guy named Mike Denneghan would say "I smell flesh burning." Sad part is that it has oftentimes been mine!
So back to Romans. We are talking about cutting free the part of God that rides inside our skin. The part that once installed, cannot be removed. Personally the more I love God, and Jesus, the more I love the spirit, and really, for me, it’s a lot. Right now for example, I love him more than my desire (Strong desire) to get a second cup of Joe, and that force is strong in this one! I used to tell myself I couldn't speak in tongue. Heck, Mikey, the vocal guy I mentioned earlier, spoke it often in my early Christian walk and I began to notice. I noticed that he seemed transformative. He was Mike one moment then he rose to become a towering voice, unashamed of who noticed or what they thought of him. I liked that, he had a pair. (Can I say that here?? Well I'm just a dirt floor helicopter pilot soldier so I don't always say things the right way, but at least, I do try to speak the truth)
I wanted the prayer language so much and one day it finally happened. It was just before service, I was strolling past the women's ministry on my way to the sanctuary. My wife called me inside to meet Miss Carol who led that group. She said that she was aware that I wanted to speak in the prayer language, to which I replied that I did. She said that she felt it in my spirit, and that if she touched me it would burst out, and asked if I was ready and could I handle it. I thrust my hands forward and that smiling lady grabbed my hands and brother the faucet open right up. Man I was just going. Ah-sha-a kan-me-ls-ah-t pe-ka shelah... and on and on I went. She stopped me. She looked surprised. She explained that a lot of people can say only one word. Although the language is known to none, but can be interpreted by some, most folks are given a single word or two, "She-Lah" or something like that. But not me, nope, she commanded me to continue, and I did.
So for some minutes I just went on and on, then she stopped me again. She told my wife that I had been given an entire language…all at once. And I confess, I can speak in that language for as long as I want, sometimes for an hour or more!
Can I tell you another story?? Think I’m crazy, off my rocker? Well get in line, it’s a long one but first reconsider the last reading I posted from Matthew. Dive in or watch your Christian life just go floating by like an empty canoe that you should be occupying. So as you may or may not know, demons come to church! Yep, they come in hosts to try to upset the delivery of the word of God. They seek to denigrate, to destroy, and sow seeds of doubt. Well I happen to be a security guy in my church and there was this gentleman who from day one, I felt and knew was demon possessed. But he was at war with his spirit because he was seeking Jesus in a mighty way, so at this point, he was just a hot spoiled mess. The demon never had any power there because in accordance with the authority God through Jesus and his chain of authority to our pastor then to me has given us the power to rebuke evil. Whenever we saw him, we would take authority over his voice and really all of him through prayer, and unknown to him he was a captive spirit until he left the premises. Evil spirits cannot stand against the blood of Christ which is in us Christians.
So after the sermon when the meeting was dismissing I confronted the man to try and help. He did exactly what I have seen demons do before, so I knew I was engaged with one, and as he started to claim his power and all that, I just started speaking in the prayer language, in tongues as it is often referred to. Heck I didn’t really mean to, it just came out. This giant of a man suddenly recoiled like I had just hit him with my best right hook! (Just ask those Marines in Yuma how effective my right hook is, they witnessed it while out one night with me and my boyz, when I carried them into a biker bar for some fun n’ games, Armee special ops style!) This guy recoiled and cried out, “You speak Aramaic!” Heck I don’t know Aramaic from Hindu, Chinese, or Eskimo. But that spirit of God in me sure did, and this Demon recognized it immediately. The evil spirits walking amongst us do not fear the body, but hang your belt of truth on and wield that sword of the word of God you can carry, and brother, you are a thirty foot tall mike Tyson in their eyes.
So in closing, what is all this about? It’s about jumping in to the river. We need you. The evil in this country and in the world is ours to destroy and control, we need be but willing to act. Cast off your fears and the ropes tying your ship to the pier of humanity! Stop being a coward for our God and wade into who you were meant to be. You chose him, at least I hope/pray that you did. So think about it like this. You joined a team, a family, his church which has many arms. If you’re a warrior like me, fall in, Right-face, Forward-March! If you’re any other part, the gearbox, the mess hall, the command and control, or the aerilons, do your part. And when you bump into them, do your part. We are his hands, his feet and his voice. He gave you eternal life, give him your time work, love, and worship on earth.
Move out!

DEMS TO LET SAME-SEX COUPLES BUY CHILDREN
GOP critic: 'The parallel between ... sex trafficking and the women on this bill is the woman being bought'

The facts of biology, refusing to bend to the political agenda of the five lawyers on the U.S. Supreme Court who created same-sex “marriage,” still pose an obstacle for same-sex duos who have a wedding and say they are a family.

No natural children.

They’ve been forced to adopt or find a donor or volunteer surrogate to provide them with a child. But adoptions are fraught with challenges, such as dealing with a birth mother, and surrogates must have a high level of altruism to bear a child and give it away.

Now lawmakers in the state of Washington are attempting to fix that by creating surrogacy rules that would allow wealthy same-sex duos to buy babies.

Their report on bill ESSB 6037, called the Uniform Parentage Act, asserts changes are needed “due to the lack of equal treatment for same sex couples.”

“Marital rights do not transfer into parental rights nationwide,” the bill’s summary of public testimony explains. “Currently, when a lesbian couple has a child through assisted reproduction, the nongenetic mother must go through an expensive and time-consuming second-parent adoption to establish parentage that will be recognized in other states.”

While the bill report states, “A person may not enter into a surrogate parentage contract for compensation, and any such contract is void as against public policy,” a few paragraphs lower it specifically allows that, “A surrogacy agreement may provide for payment of consideration.”

Also “reasonable expenses.”

Ken Vance, editor of Clark County Today, spoke with some of the GOP lawmakers who tried to defeat the plan approved by the Democratic-controlled legislature.

The bill still awaits the signature of Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee.

Vance said state Reps. Liz Pike and Vicki Kraft recently “have had some tough days” concerning the Uniform Parentage Act.

Kraft told him: “It is literally the most disturbing bill I’ve seen come before the House Chamber since I’ve been in office. The bill essentially allows for the commercialization of a surrogate woman. In layman’s term, I call it ‘rent a womb.'”

Some people think our country is lost and we are about to succumb to gun confiscation. I personally do not think that is possible. THe resulting revolution/war would simply lay the country to waste, and some smart people on the opposition are sadly accepting that prospect as viable.

But for the folks still holding the belief it could happen, they hypothesize that we now need to cache weapons and ammo for not this generation, but the following generation to have something to fight an oppressive government once the light bulb comes back on like it did with the solidarity movement in Poland that led to the collapse of the soviet.

Nevertheless, these are some cool products and ideas...Have fun:

Faith Discussion / Mini-Sermon 3: Billy Graham
« on: February 28, 2018, 12:19:13 PM »
Billy Graham
I had the honor just now of watching Billy Gram’s body move into the rotunda of the Nation’s Capital building. Several things struck me as I watched in sadness and also with a feeling of watching something of greatness.

I heard President Trump tell everyone of a great gathering of men and women of Christ in Charlotte, N.C. They prayed that from Charlotte would go forth a man of God who would deliver the hope of Jesus Christ all over the world. That through their prayer, they could reach the entire world. I would say their prayer has been answered. Billy Graham was only 15 when those people of faith raised a single request which must have been a wonderful scent in God’s throne room, for he heard them and he granted them their prayer. One year later Billy Graham accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

President trump, speaker Ryan, senate leader _____ spoke of a plain man who never ever pointed to himself, but spent a life acknowledging him who was working through this modest man. Back when Billy Graham was a kid, he would get in a boat, it is said, and paddle out into a marsh and practice preaching to the swamp critters. He was infected with one simple message that he preached and taught to hundreds of millions for 75 years. His message: God Loves You!

God loves you. Those three words are on the aluminum cross which I keep in my wallet. That cross fell into my boot one day in Baghdad. The same day I flew over a truck the moment it exploded. I think that cross protected me and saved my life. Yep, God loves us, He loved me, and he loves you.

I watched as men of all our armed services carefully lifted, then carried his coffin up the long stairs of the capital building. I watched as those warriors perfectly carried the coffin into the Rotunda, where 2300 assembled dignitaries and guests waited their turn to pay respects to this humble man.

The soldiers protected the man’s remains, and with strength, precision, honor, bore the weight of Mr. Graham and placed it on the stand which will host him for the next two days. I was reminded of how soldiers fit into all of this, how their way intersected once again with the business of a man of God. Paul, almost beaten to death in the inner court of Solomon’s temple was saved, and later escorted to Rome by soldiers. Because of that, Paul witnessed to Creaser and propagated the word which within a couple hundred years spread the world over. And right before me, these soldiers were once again protecting the embodiment of the word of God in the person of this great man.

Billy Graham makes the forth civilian who has ever been honored by having his body placed in the rotunda. I am encouraged by that. Mr. Graham is a man of God, plain enough. That we would lay down the hallowed halls of our country to honor a man of God, a man dubbed, “America’s Preacher.” Had he died during Obamas administration, I doubt OB would have interrupted a round of golf or his wife another vacation to acknowledge the man’s passing. But not now, for something has changed. A man of God is honored, in a great way. Our leaders prayed, our President prayed. Scripture was quoted during the ceremony! Again we take and make our stand as a nation of God and for God. Those are our roots, and in that ceremony, we got back to them.

Mr. Graham is resting in heaven of course, but his earthly body is inside a simple pine box. There is nothing elaborate about that coffin. It’s just a well finished pine box. And get this, Inmates from the Louisiana penal system, actual interned men, built that thing. Prisoners who, I would wager are freer than a lot of you! Unencumbered by the trappings of life, they have only time and with that time they study the word, and honor God, and from men who have nothing, they built the Reverend Billy Graham’s actual coffin!

Wow!

This is greatness we are witnessing. This is the passing of a great man. The son of a farmer, who himself was a farmer who as the result of prayers of God fearing men and women was given a unique task. To spread the good word, that through Jesus you are not dead, but are born again into an eternity of life in heaven. And to tell all peoples of the love of God and to take that message all the days of his life, all over the entire earth. Greatness, truly greatness

God loves you!

Bombshell Report: Broward Schools And Police Colluded To Shield Criminal Students
Clues about how Nikolas Cruz slipped through cracks are emerging

(Infowars) – Bombshell claims alleging collusion between Broward County law enforcement and the Broward school district to protect criminal students from arrests and disciplinary action have been leveled by a journalist familiar with the protocols in practice.

According to information currently available, Parkland mass shooter Nikolas Cruz was visited by local law enforcement 39 times over the course of seven years and was also reported to the FBI at least twice, leaving many to wonder how he slipped through the cracks, evaded arrest, continued attending school, and legally purchased firearms that he would later use to kill 17 of his former classmates and teachers.

Some clues may have emerged from a report chronicled by the editors of the Conservative Treehouse (CTH), an independent blog, who have provided corroborating documentation that paint a very convincing picture for the circumstances that may have enabled Cruz to slip through the cracks.

Broward County Sheriff’s Office Did Not “Miss Warning Signs” or Make “Mistakes”… http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/02/23/broward-county-sheriffs-office-did-not-miss-warning-signs-or-make-mistakes/

“I spent about 18 months in 2012, 2013 and 2014 investigating Broward and Miami-Dade school policies and how those policies transfer to law enforcement practices,” CTH explains. “What I stumbled upon was a Broward County law enforcement system in a state of conflict. The Broward County School Board and District Superintendent, entered into a political agreement with Broward County Law enforcement officials to stop arresting students for crimes.”

“The motive was simple. The school system administrators wanted to ‘improve their statistics’ and gain state and federal grant money for improvements therein.”

The 2013 “Collaborative Agreement On School Discipline” between the School Board of Broward County and the Sheriff of Broward Country, as well as the Fort Lauderdale Branch of the NAACP and a variety of other state and local legal bodies, can be found HERE.

In short, the agreement established new standards and practices by which law enforcement would seek alternatives to arresting students who had committed crimes or “minor disturbances,” with a specific focus on “students of color, students with disabilities and LGBTQ students,” who were “disproportionately impacted by school-based arrests for the same behavior as their peers.”

CTH asserts that the types of lawbreaking being swept under the rug quickly escalated from minor offenses to serious felonies.

“The need to continue lowering the arrests year-over-year meant that increasingly more severe unlawful behavior had to be ignored. Over time even the most severe of unlawful conduct was being filtered by responding police,” CTH writes. “We found out about it, when six cops blew the whistle on severe criminal conduct they were being instructed to hide.”

Media reports corroborate the external results of the new policies implemented in Broward, and school district superintendent Robert Runcie, who had been brought in from the Chicago public school system to mitigate the massive issues in Broward, was hailed as a hero as suspensions magically dropped by 40% percent and arrests by 66% in just two years.

The American Prospect reported at the time –

“Broward announced broad changes designed to mitigate the use of harsh punishments for minor misbehavior at the beginning of this school year. While other districts have amended their discipline codes, prohibited arrests in some circumstances, and developed alternatives to suspension, Broward was able to do all these things at once with the cooperation of a group that included a member of the local NAACP, a school board member, a public defender, a local sheriff, a state prosecutor, and several others.”

In 2015, Runcie was invited to join an Obama White House school discipline summit to share his ‘secrets to success’ in lowering student arrests and suspensions.  In 2016, Runcie was awarded ‘Florida Superintendent of the Year.’

The Miami Herald alluded to the types of oversights and ‘missed’ signs that enabled Nikolas Cruz to glide through the system in a report on Wednesday.

“And long before Cruz embarked on the worst school shooting in Florida history, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies had multiple warnings that the 19-year-old was a violent threat and a potential school shooter, according to records released Thursday.”

“In November, a tipster called BSO to say Cruz ‘could be a school shooter in the making,’ but deputies did not write up a report on that warning. It came just weeks after a relative called urging BSO to seize his weapons. Two years ago, according to a newly released timeline of interactions with Cruz’s family, a deputy investigated a report that Cruz ‘planned to shoot up the school’ — intelligence that was forwarded to the school’s resource officer, with no apparent result.”

On Wednesday, Broward Sheriff Scott Israel revealed that an armed Parkland school officer, Scot Peterson, arrived on the scene at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as Cruz was in the process of killing 17 innocent victims, but never went inside the building to render aid.

A man and his dog were walking along a road.

The man was enjoying the scenery,
When it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying and that the dog walking
Beside him had been dead for years.
He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone
Wall along one side of the road.

It looked like fine marble.
At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch
That glowed in the sunlight.

When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent
Gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl and
The street that led to the gate looked like pure gold.

He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got
Closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

cid:yev5fVnjvIMnZjpcLovN

When he was close enough, he called out,
“Excuse me, where are we?”

“This is Heaven, sir,” the man answered.

”Wow! Would you happen to have some water?”
The man asked.

”Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have
Some ice water brought right up.”
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
“Can my friend,” gesturing toward his dog,
“come in, too?” the traveler asked.

”I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.”

The man thought a moment and then turned
Back toward the road and continued the way
He had been going with his dog.

After another long walk, and at the top of another
Long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a
Farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed.

There was no fence.

As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside,
Leaning against a tree and reading a book.

”Excuse me!” he called to the man.
“Do you have any water?”

”Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there,
Come on in.”

”How about my friend here?” the traveler
Gestured to the dog.

”There should be a bowl by the pump,” said the man.

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there
Was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it.

The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long
Drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.

When they were full, he and the dog walked back
Toward the man who was standing by the tree.

”What do you call this place?” the traveler asked.

“This is Heaven,” he answered.

”Well, that's confusing,” the traveler said.

”The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'”
”Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly
Gates? Nope. That's Hell.”

”Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?”

”No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would
Leave their best friends behind.”

A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Montana  when suddenly a brand-new 2015 BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man named Cliff in a Brioni® suit, Gucci® shoes, RayBan® sunglasses and YSL® tie, leaned out the window and asked the cowboy, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?"

Bud looks at the man, who obviously is a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, why not?"

The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell® notebook computer, connects it to his Apple iPhone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on  his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

The young man then opens the digital photo  in Adobe Photoshop® and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany      ...

Within seconds, he receives an email on his Apple iPad® that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then  accesses an MS-SQL® database through an ODBC connected Excel® spreadsheet with email on his Galaxy S5® and, after a few minutes, receives a response.

Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet® printer, turns to the  cowboy and says, "You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."

"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says Bud.

He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.

Then Bud says to the young man, "Hey, if I  can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?"

The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why not?"

"You're a Congressman for the  U.S. Government", says Bud.

"Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, “but how did you guess that?"

"No  guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a  question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know sh*t about  how working people make a living - or about cows, for that matter. This is a  herd of sheep.”

“Now give me back my dog.”

AND THAT FOLKS IS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS

The  ANT AND THE  GRASSHOPPER

This one is a little different ........
Two Different Versions .....
Two Different Morals

OLD VERSION :

The  ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The  grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:

Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN   VERSION :
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The  grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering  grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the  ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN,  and  ABC   Show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper  is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on  Oprah with the  grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being  Green ..'

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing,  We shall overcome.

Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake.

President Obama condemns the  ant and blames President Trump, President Bush President Reagan, and Christopher Columbus for the  grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Chuck Schumer exclaim in an interview with  Anderson Cooper that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the  EEOC  drafts the   Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of  the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of  green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper .

The story ends as we see the  grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the  grasshopper doesn't  maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The  grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now  abandoned, is taken over by a gang of  spiders who terrorize and ramshackle, the once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Be careful how you vote in 2018 and 2020

Firearms / A/R Pistol build
« on: February 05, 2018, 06:45:28 PM »
So, the need has arisen to build a short AR based pistol with significant smack down power. So the Don will be embarking on creating a .300 AAC pistol with a brace. I decided on the 1-8 twist with a 10.5" barrel.

I used Amazon, AR-15.com and Aim to bring it all together. The only thing mising at this point is the stripped lower, which, in true Kintucky fashion will be the venerable Anderson unit built 10 miles from mi casa.

I set out to build the upper receiver myself, but in the end I was able to find a good fully assembled upper from AR-15 for less money, so here is the upper I will use:

I will be using a typical A2 birdcage flash hider unlike the pic

Message from the Owner / No Superbowl for me!

I will not be watching the US SuperBowl today

Someone will hopefully record the commercials for me, especially the Marine Corps recruitment one that is rumored to be good.

I don't even know who is playing!!!!!!!!!!!

Had the NFL Leadership taken a strong stance against this kneeling for the flag thing
Had they not come down asymmetrically harder on Christian players for displaying their beliefs publicly
I would enjoy the game as i have every year of my life.

This was a good year of high school sports for me, and I guess, that and college ball will fill the void from the passing of Professional Football from my pool of experience.

Fut from this broke kneed veteran to that nappy headed disrespecter of my flag and nation, son, because of you and your communist self centered, spoiled friends this cowboy is done with your industry.

Message from the Owner / Are you Lukewarm?
« on: January 28, 2018, 09:29:29 AM »
Men of God, come forth!

Are you are man of God? Or just toying with the idea? Are you committed or do you just like the idea of being saved? If the conversation turned toward a direction you are not comfortable with, what do you do? I’ve had them. I remember sitting in the cockpit of a jet working on the flight weight and balance and punching in the flight plan into the computer when a knockout of a beautiful woman appears in plain view boarding the plane. I remember the Captain’s comments, “Would you look at the t__s on that. I’ve been there for sure. At one point in my life I would enjoy the view. But at another point, I would take that opportunity to tell him that my Jesus who lives in me would not look upon her in that way, and let that dog lie back down.

This is an easy time in our history to remain uncommitted and quiet about your views. Corporate policies everywhere prevent us from expressing our Christian views, while herding us into classrooms to learn about how to handle folks wrestling with their anatomy. You might even have noticed that some viewpoints are more popular and believing in them may at the corporate or military setting you work at, elevate you to some higher plane of human condition than those close minded Christian racists.

I mean, let’s just face it, on the world stage, my crying out “I just really Love Jesus” (Which is the truth BTW) would be seen as a bigoted comment. Everyone says how Christians hate Gays, how we think everyone is going to hell, how the world is be taken over by evil.

Of course none of that is true, except that evil is enjoying a pretty healthy run-up in their evil stock market endgame, wouldn’t you admit?

So where are you? Non-committal? Non-confrontational? Silent and reserved about your views? I’ll bet that a lot of you are. I can show it to you here on this web site. Go to the home page and look over the stats which show how many registered members and how many guests are viewing. Five to one (Guests vs members) is pretty normal. Allowing that some folks are new here and still working their way around, some of those in the guest (Noncommittal??) side have not made a connection, not made any commitment. But there are others who have been here for years…as guests…They are coming here just like I attend a large stadium to watch the Reds play ball at the All –American ballfield in Cincy.

Personally, even now, I don’t care to associate with those lukewarm people. (although I do, the old Don is hard to die sometimes). I guess I sort of align with my savior, Jesus, who said:

Revelation 3:14-

To the Church in Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

I like dealing with the “cold,” because they don’t know Christ or have walked away from them. I guess I just like a fight, sorry. But they can be easily be dealt with by applying the truth (Scripture) to any of their positions. You don’t have to win the argument or discussion, you just have to deliver the message. God’s word is unchanging, true and like a searchlight in a dark night, it illuminates all that is hidden. Do that and your job is done.

And I just LOVE the “Hot!” Had lunch with two Mexican evangelists Wednesday. We had a great time. When men on fire for Jesus get together, no matter if they start talking about guns (our case) or trucks, or politics or whatever, the conversation invariably gets to what we love the most…HIM! And that, my friends is fun. I can’t imagine a better thing than sitting down at my farm, all worn out from hard work, sitting around a crackling fire with some folks who are sharing about their lives, their families, and our God and what he is doing in our lives. I just would prefer doing that to anything else. Well, doing something for someone in his name, well, maybe I may like that more, a tie maybe???But what about the “guest,” the luke-warmer. This is a guy who says he is saved and indeed you see him in church sometimes. But he is not serving anywhere. He doesn’t give much. He is not a part of anything that is happening and he doesn’t have a clue about when or where the prayer warriors meet. Just not a part of his repertoire. I look for them amongst the recruits wishing to join our security team. If they never serve anywhere and they had to be coerced to show up, my money says they are lukewarm.

Witness this: One of my team members is a woman, late 40’s. She has MS. She suffers from all sorts of crap. Her hair fell out. She has times of weakness. She actually goes completely blind for hours at a time every once in a while. But every Sunday afternoon when we hold training, she is there. She shows up at the gym, I hear nearly every day she isn’t sick. Like many of us, if you ask her what the sermon was about, she couldn’t tell you because she was walking the parking lot, or clearing the tree line to the west or acting like a door greeter so she can give everyone coming into our sanctuary a visual as a part of our security system. Lukewarm?? Her? No flippin’ way! She is serving out of the very poverty of her life. She is sick, has not much money, but you will 1. Never hear her complain, 2. Always see her with a smile, 3. Always count her to be there and to get in the middle of a fracas to defend the weak kneed Luke warmers who come to warm seats in the service.

Which one are you?

This is a good time in history to make a stand for Christ, no matter the price or continue playing Satan’s script for the socially acceptable politically correct. I spit you out of my mouth. I care not to associate with you. I do wish, however, to warmly invite you into the loving world that our Jesus owns. One where you either belong or you don’t. With respect to this web site, I sort of wish you would leave if you were a luke-warmer, but that’s a bit of the old Don talking. The Christ loving me which has surpassed the 50% point (I hope) wants you to hang around so that we can rub off on you and show you true family, the family of the Christ. It is, after all the most important of all families. In any setting other than a Billy Graham revival meeting or a Christian concert, we will be in the minority, but we are far, FAR stronger than anything the evil master of this world can muster…And he knows it.

So, what about it, which side you want to be on? You really better think it over, and you may not have much time regardless of what you might think. Just last night was an eye-opener for me. I had fasted all day long, praying when I got hunger pains, but committed to go to church denying self in sacrifice for my Lord. I wanted to hear his word first, then planned for a meal afterward. That afterward happened around 2230 at a local restaurant where I ordered eggs, hash browns, and sausage. While eating that meal, I began choking, and no matter what I did, I could not breathe. I suddenly realized I was about to go unconscious when I stood up because I thought that if I just fell over like a redwood crashing down onto the forest floor, maybe the impact would dislodge the piece of food blocking my airway. But at that exact moment, my airway opened just a little. I became aware that my wife was screaming for help and that some big guy was fast approaching, but in all reality, shortly after that moment, I might have died.

Think about that. Fasted all day, then went to church, then choked and died!

You see, you may not make it to the point late in life and after many years where the doc tells you that persistent cough is actually stage 4 which has also spread to your brain and he estimates you have two weeks max. During that imaginary scenario, you would then find the time to come to Jesus, get saved, donate all the porno to your Army buddy and go onto paradise. But, my very lost (And very much in the will of Satan) friend, if no one else has the courage or cares enough to tell you differently, I will. I am a man who desires to speak the truth. I am a man in love with my Lord. Through him, I love my wife and my family, and believe it or not, I love a lot of you. I’m telling you not to be lukewarm, but to commit.

Don’t be lukewarm. Don’t be a coward. Don’t be noncommittal. Stand up for Christ and be counted amongst his!

THE CIVIL WAR IS HERE

The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule.

March 27, 2017

Daniel Greenfield

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam.

A civil war has begun.

This civil war is very different than the last one. There are no cannons or cavalry charges. The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule. Political conflicts become civil wars when one side refuses to accept the existing authority. The left has rejected all forms of authority that it doesn’t control.

The left has rejected the outcome of the last two presidential elections won by Republicans. It has rejected the judicial authority of the Supreme Court when it decisions don’t accord with its agenda. It rejects the legislative authority of Congress when it is not dominated by the left.

It rejected the Constitution so long ago that it hardly bears mentioning.

It was for total unilateral executive authority under Obama. And now it’s for states unilaterally deciding what laws they will follow. (As long as that involves defying immigration laws under Trump, not following them under Obama.) It was for the sacrosanct authority of the Senate when it held the majority. Then it decried the Senate as an outmoded institution when the Republicans took it over.

It was for Obama defying the orders of Federal judges, no matter how well grounded in existing law, and it is for Federal judges overriding any order by Trump on any grounds whatsoever. It was for Obama penalizing whistleblowers, but now undermining the government from within has become “patriotic”.

There is no form of legal authority that the left accepts as a permanent institution. It only utilizes forms of authority selectively when it controls them. But when government officials refuse the orders of the duly elected government because their allegiance is to an ideology whose agenda is in conflict with the President and Congress, that’s not activism, protest, politics or civil disobedience; it’s treason.

After losing Congress, the left consolidated its authority in the White House. After losing the White House, the left shifted its center of authority to Federal judges and unelected government officials. Each defeat led the radicalized Democrats to relocate from more democratic to less democratic institutions.

This isn’t just hypocrisy. That’s a common political sin. Hypocrites maneuver within the system. The left has no allegiance to the system. It accepts no laws other than those dictated by its ideology.

Democrats have become radicalized by the left. This doesn’t just mean that they pursue all sorts of bad policies. It means that their first and foremost allegiance is to an ideology, not the Constitution, not our country or our system of government. All of those are only to be used as vehicles for their ideology.

That’s why compromise has become impossible.

Our system of government was designed to allow different groups to negotiate their differences. But those differences were supposed to be based around finding shared interests. The most profound of these shared interests was that of a common country based around certain civilizational values. The left has replaced these Founding ideas with radically different notions and principles. It has rejected the primary importance of the country. As a result it shares little in the way of interests or values.

Instead it has retreated to cultural urban and suburban enclaves where it has centralized tremendous amounts of power while disregarding the interests and values of most of the country. If it considers them at all, it is convinced that they will shortly disappear to be replaced by compliant immigrants and college indoctrinated leftists who will form a permanent demographic majority for its agenda.

But it couldn’t wait that long because it is animated by the conviction that enforcing its ideas is urgent and inevitable. And so it turned what had been a hidden transition into an open break.

In the hidden transition, its authority figures had hijacked the law and every political office they held to pursue their ideological agenda. The left had used its vast cultural power to manufacture a consensus that was slowly transitioning the country from American values to its values and agendas. The right had proven largely impotent in the face of a program which corrupted and subverted from within.

The left was enormously successful in this regard. It was so successful that it lost all sense of proportion and decided to be open about its views and to launch a political power struggle after losing an election.

The Democrats were no longer being slowly injected with leftist ideology. Instead the left openly took over and demanded allegiance to open borders, identity politics and environmental fanaticism. The exodus of voters wiped out the Democrats across much of what the left deemed flyover country.

The left responded to democratic defeats by retreating deeper into undemocratic institutions, whether it was the bureaucracy or the corporate media, while doubling down on its political radicalism. It is now openly defying the outcome of a national election using a coalition of bureaucrats, corporations, unelected officials, celebrities and reporters that are based out of its cultural and political enclaves.

It has responded to a lost election by constructing sanctuary cities and states thereby turning a cultural and ideological secession into a legal secession. But while secessionists want to be left alone authoritarians want everyone to follow their laws. The left is an authoritarian movement that wants total compliance with its dictates with severe punishments for those who disobey.

The left describes its actions as principled. But more accurately they are ideological. Officials at various levels of government have rejected the authority of the President of the United States, of Congress and of the Constitution because those are at odds with their radical ideology. Judges have cloaked this rejection in law. Mayors and governors are not even pretending that their actions are lawful.

The choices of this civil war are painfully clear.

We can have a system of government based around the Constitution with democratically elected representatives. Or we can have one based on the ideological principles of the left in which all laws and processes, including elections and the Constitution, are fig leaves for enforcing social justice.

But we cannot have both.

Some civil wars happen when a political conflict can’t be resolved at the political level. The really bad ones happen when an irresolvable political conflict combines with an irresolvable cultural conflict.

That is what we have now.

The left has made it clear that it will not accept the lawful authority of our system of government. It will not accept the outcome of elections. It will not accept these things because they are at odds with its ideology and because they represent the will of large portions of the country whom they despise.

The question is what comes next.

The last time around growing tensions began to explode in violent confrontations between extremists on both sides. These extremists were lauded by moderates who mainstreamed their views. The first Republican president was elected and rejected. The political tensions led to conflict and then civil war.

The left doesn’t believe in secession. It’s an authoritarian political movement that has lost democratic authority. There is now a political power struggle underway between the democratically elected officials and the undemocratic machinery of government aided by a handful of judges and local elected officials.

What this really means is that there are two competing governments; the legal government and a treasonous anti-government of the left. If this political conflict progresses, agencies and individuals at every level of government will be asked to demonstrate their allegiance to these two competing governments. And that can swiftly and explosively transform into an actual civil war.

There is no sign that the left understands or is troubled by the implications of the conflict it has initiated. And there are few signs that Democrats properly understand the dangerous road that the radical left is drawing them toward. The left assumes that the winners of a democratic election will back down rather than stand on their authority. It is unprepared for the possibility that democracy won’t die in darkness.

Civil wars end when one side is forced to accept the authority of the other. The left expects everyone to accept its ideological authority. Conservatives expect the left to accept Constitutional authority. The conflict is still political and cultural. It’s being fought in the media and within the government. But if neither side backs down, then it will go beyond words as both sides give contradictory orders.

The left is a treasonous movement. The Democrats became a treasonous organization when they fell under the sway of a movement that rejects our system of government, its laws and its elections. Now their treason is coming to a head. They are engaged in a struggle for power against the government. That’s not protest. It’s not activism. The old treason of the sixties has come of age. A civil war has begun.

This is a primal conflict between a totalitarian system and a democratic system. Its outcome will determine whether we will be a free nation or a nation of slaves.

Note:  The Constitution of the United States:  Article III; Section 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

(My insert – just to be clear on treason. The author may be stretching it a bit. Subversives, criminals, anarchists – yes; also, war is a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state…no war unless involved in an armed conflict – and remember, treason is determined by the winner--- what we have now are criminals that are not being held accountable--- MDB)

Real Man Knowledge base / Electoral College...Why we need it
« on: January 24, 2018, 09:50:36 AM »
The popular vote in America in lieu of the electoral college would not work.

If we had the popular vote only, then Either New York City, or Chicago or Los Angles would forever more determine who our president is. Fly-over states would never see an active campaign as all the money and time a candidate spends would be centered in the areas of greatest population density

Know the truth...For the truth (along with Jesus) will set you FREE!

After Nov 8, 2016 Presidential Election, those who did not vote for our President Trump, IMMEDIATELY began the rhetoric of editing the Electoral College processes/boundaries.  Believe this occurs several times during each Century!

Within the past 50 years, our Country's foundation has been challenged.  The Electoral College is but one of our Country's "deer in the headlights! "

This break-down of the Electoral College vote is our “checks and balances ”.

This is so important for our future that it is never changed.

In their infinite wisdom, the founders of our country created a structure called the "Electoral College" as a control system and to ensure the individual states were fairly represented. Otherwise one or two densely populated areas would speak for the whole of the nation. It was not created as a device to favor Democrats, Republicans, Whigs, Tories or any other political affiliation. It was created as a system of "checks and balances " to guard against any small vocal area, with a specific agenda, speaking for the whole of the nation.

The following list of statistics should put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.

Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State.

Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.

Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.

In the 5 counties that encompass NYC (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump.

In other words, Five (5) counties alone , more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote  for the entire country!!!

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Large, densely populated cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) do not and should not speak for the rest of our country (They already do in some of our states ) ... and somehow the geniuses who founded our country understood this and created a system to avoid that circumstance.

And now you understand the supreme importance of the Electoral College .

Do share this...  It needs to be understood.

Jeff Bergner: The vanishing Obama presidency

·        By Jeff Bergner     The Virginian-Pilot      Jan 14, 2018

·        ONE YEAR AGO, Barack Obama’s presidency came to an end. His election as the nation’s first black president was a major accomplishment for him and for the nation. Time will never erase that achievement.

But as time passes, this may be just about his only lasting political accomplishment; his legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives are disappearing rapidly. On domestic policy:

• Energy: The Keystone XL Pipeline has been approved. The Dakota Access Pipeline has been approved and is operational. U.S. energy production is up, and gas prices are down. Deep Obama administration reductions in offshore drilling leases are in the process of being reversed.

• Education: The Obama Education Department’s Title IX “guidance” to colleges and universities mandating how to treat sexual assault cases has been rescinded. Numerous Education Department programs begun in the Obama administration are being terminated.

• Environment: The Obama EPA’s Clean Power Plan to regulate carbon dioxide as a pollutant, the implementation of which was already blocked by the Supreme Court, has been rescinded.

• Labor: The Obama-controlled National Labor Relations Board rule treating franchise chains as single employers for the purpose of collective bargaining has been repealed.

• National parks: Obama’s vast additions to U.S. national monuments in Utah have been rescinded.

• Internet: Net neutrality has been repealed.

• Immigration: The Obama executive order on Deferred Action Against Parents of Americans, which was blocked by a federa l court, has been rescinded. His executive order on Deferred Action Against Childhood Arrivals has been rescinded, awaiting potential congressional action.

• Health care: Obamacare has been significantly modified by regulations to allow new, less costly forms of health insurance and by the repeal of the individual mandate. Additional regulatory changes are coming this year. As the health exchanges continue to shrink, the principal impact of Obamacare will be the expansion of Medicaid enrollment.

• Consumer protection: The structure of the Obama-era Consumer Financial Protection Agency has been ruled unconstitutional by the District of Columbia Circuit Court because it is unanswerable to any elected government official. The CFPB is facing additional legal and legislative challenges.

• Economy: The economic recovery beginning in 2009 produced historically slow economic growth, a declining labor participation rate, stagnant wages and increasing food stamp usage. Today’s economy is growing more rapidly, the labor participation rate is up, wages are beginning to rise, and food stamp usage is down.

On foreign policy:

• Military: Reductions in military spending and U.S. troop levels are being reversed.

• ISIS: Changes to the Obama rules of engagement for using military force led to the rapid defeat of ISIS.

• Environment: The United States has announced its intent to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

• Trade: The United States declined to join the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership.

• Iran nuclear deal: The president has declined to certify the Iran nuclear agreement, which the Obama administration negotiated, setting the stage for withdrawal or modification.

• Syria: The president has used military force to enforce Obama’s “red line” against Syria’s use of chemical weapons.

• Ukraine: U.S. policy toward Ukraine is changing; the U.S. will now send lethal weapons to assist Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.

• Cuba: Obama’s opening to Cuba has been put on hold.

• Israel: The United States and Israel have restored their historically close relationship.

• Egypt: The flirtation with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has been replaced by U.S. support for Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi.

Overall, with the exception of a shrinking Obamacare and the CFPB, no significant initiative of the Obama administration remains in place. The near doubling of the federal debt during his eight-year presidency — from $10 trillion to $19 trillion — seems like a very high price to pay for such ephemeral results.

The Obama presidency is vanishing before our eyes. In only 12 short months, the legacy of Obama’s presidency is best captured by the motto of a well-known disaster restoration company: “like it never even happened.”

Jeff Bergner served in the legislative and executive branches of the federal government. He lives in Norfolk

Don's Comment: I know that society seems to have moved on and nowadays, cats and dogs living together, men dating men, and young girls having their sex changed all with the blessing of the people around them seemingly now normal. But none of this is normal, healthy, nor Godly in my view. In the case of this abomination which has occurred in a so called chapel at west point points to an ungodly sickness which has gained a solid foothold in a sacred institution of this once great nation. I say once great because in my view greatness is not all physical. It is not necessarily defined by engineering marvels, or advancements of science, or other things of that nature. In my view, greatness is equally related to the strength of the conviction of men, of their courage, moral fiber, and submission to the idea that we were created by a living God, the very one who is responsible for the book George Washington Concentrated this nation to in the 18th Century.

There is nothing normal about marriage of two men. There is nothing normal about joining them in (what holy matrimony?????) in a place where God once called home. There is nothing good about asking men who were raised believing that Jesus is their savior, to accept this abomination of the laws of God and of nature. None of this is right, in fact it points to death. Death of our Christian culture, Death of moral courage. Death of leadership of any kind. Death of common sense, and the killing of the spirit that is in a man of war that is needed most of all in that crucial second that spans the gap where he either succumbs or rises against all odds and wins the day. That is dead and dying, and I greatly mourn its passing.

But not with me. Call me a dinosaur, old guy, whatever. Men do not belong together. They should now be married. They should not have sex, they should not be honored in any way, and NEVER, NEVER should our warfighters have to put up with any of that nonsense!

This happened before and with catastrophic effect. It is well written about and violently ends when two places, a Sodom and a Gomorrah are vaporized by a slow to anger God.

I would so much rather America die on a battlefield, giving its last breath in a last heroic battle against a vastly superior force than to have the sickening  cancer of homosexuality rot it from within.

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Two Army captains who met at West Point returned there to be married, in what is believed to be the first same-sex marriage of active-duty personnel at the storied New York military academy.

The New York Times reported Captains Daniel Hall, 30, and Vincent Franchino, 26, both stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, were married at West Point’s Cadet Chapel on Jan. 13.

The men met at the school in August 2009, when Franchino was a freshman and Hall was a senior. Their first date was in February 2012 in Washington, some months after the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy was repealed in September 2011.

That policy, in place since 1993, barred any gay person from disclosing their sexual orientation or talking about any same-sex relationship.

“It’s really frustrating when two people have feelings for each other but are not allowed to act on them,” Hall said. “We were serving under a policy that was telling all of us — perfectly capable soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines — to lie about ourselves.”

The men wore their uniforms during the ceremony, and left the chapel under an arch made up of sabers held aloft by several of their guests. They also used Hall’s officer saber, a graduation gift from his grandparents, to cut the cake.

Today's kids love socialism — but it's not because of their radical professors
James Piereson and Naomi Schaefer Riley, Opinion contributors Published 9:38 a.m. ET Jan. 10, 2018 | Updated 6:27 p.m. ET Jan. 10, 2018

American Millennials say they would rather live in a socialist or communist country than a capitalist democracy.

Professors have little influence on student political beliefs compared with peers, 'student life' administrators and campus activists.
Why are young people growing more sympathetic to socialism?

According to a survey conducted late last year by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, a third of Americans and as many as 44% of Millennials would prefer to live under a socialist system than a capitalist one. This is more than a little puzzling at a time when socialism has proved a catastrophic failure in its remaining strongholds in Venezuela, North Korea and Cuba.

Some observers blame leftist professors for this development. This makes sense. The renewed sympathy for socialism seems most pronounced among recent college graduates.

It is demonstrably true that professors are overwhelmingly liberal and have become more so in the past three decades. But it is far from clear that classroom indoctrination is driving students to the far left.

In a study published in 2009 of 7,000 students at 38 institutions across the U.S., professors Matthew Woessner and April Kelly-Woessner found that students’ political beliefs did not change much during their college years. Even in cases where students’ opinions changed, there was little correlation between the direction of the change and the political leanings of their professors. When contacted about these conclusions, Woessner confirmed that although campuses today might seem more radical, his current research suggests that those earlier conclusions are still true.

But if professors are not swaying student opinions in the classroom, what is making them more sympathetic to socialism and less tolerant of conservative views about free markets and limited government?

Author Lenore Skenazy has suggested that students’ upbringings are a large part of today’s problems on campus. In her book Free-Range Kids, she argued that parents who try to protect their children from every possible threat or danger deprive them of the freedom to grow up. Naturally, when they arrive on campus as 18-year-olds, they look to professors and administrators to take over the parental role of protecting them from life’s challenges. Thus, “helicopter parenting” yields “snowflake” students unable to tolerate uncomfortable opinions.

While this may be true, there are nevertheless organizations and constituencies on the contemporary campus that are in position to gain from protest and unrest. In response to perceived slights, however artificial or exaggerated they may be, activists demand and often receive compensation: greater funding for their programs, promises to hire more members of victimized groups, the creation of programs and courses to promote diversity and multiculturalism on campus, and other concessions of tangible kinds.

In these efforts, there seems to be an unholy alliance of students, diversity administrators and faculty members representing multicultural programs. These alliances are rarely formed in the classroom or in the traditional research disciplines. The growing radicalism on campus seems to originate instead in the broad category of student life that takes place outside the classroom.

A 2014 study, for instance, found that students who spent a greater number of hours on extracurricular activities on campus (as opposed to classroom studies) were more likely to see their politics move toward one extreme or the other, in most cases toward the far left.

Kyle Dodson, assistant professor of sociology at the University of California-Merced, looked at data from the UCLA’s Freshman Survey and the College Senior Survey. He found that time spent in academic pursuits has a moderating influence on students’ political views. Students who are occupied with classroom studies are less likely to engage in disruptive or illiberal activities on campus.

More: Come out of the political closet in 2018 and help heal our divide

POLICING THE USA: A look at race, justice, media

This is an encouraging conclusion as it suggests that students who are more serious about their academic work are more likely to think for themselves and less likely to be drawn into disruptive political activities.

But there is a catch: College students are spending less and less time in classrooms and academic study. According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics analyzed by the Heritage Foundation in 2014, college students spend fewer than three hours per day on classroom-related activities. It is thus not surprising to find that professors have little influence on student political beliefs compared with the enormous sway of peers, “student life” administrators and activists who are in charge of campus extracurricular activities.

This should be a wake-up call for faculty and administrators who still believe that a college education should involve classroom learning and the exposure of students to important ideas. As faculty have stepped back from their roles as the primary intellectual guides for students — teaching fewer hours, spending more time on research and publishing for their colleagues in the field, requiring students to take fewer general education requirements — other adults and peers have stepped in to fill the void, much to the detriment of academic learning and liberal ideals on campus.

If moderate and liberal professors want to take back the campus from illiberal activists who reject open debate and a marketplace of ideas, then a good place to start would be to reemphasize academics as the raison d’etre of university life. “Student life” should first and foremost be the life of the mind.

Medical Corner / You're Alone and have a Heart Attack...
« on: January 19, 2018, 09:19:52 AM »
 1. Let’s say it’s 7.25pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.

2. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated.

3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.

 4. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.

 5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy who taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

 6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!

10. A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we’ll save at least one life.

11. Rather than sending jokes, please... contribute by forwarding this mail which can save a person’s life.

12. If this message comes around you... more than once… please don’t get irritated... You should instead, be happy that you have many friends who care about you & keeps reminding you how to deal with a Heart attack

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Food Stamp Balance...

Why did we ever allow these idiots to be in control of anything?

1148
This was written by Rosemary LaBonte to the editors of a California newspaper in response to an article written by Ernie Lujan who suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the immigrants of today aren’t being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry. The paper never printed this response, so her husband sent it out via internet.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented.

Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made LEARNING ENGLISH a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved goodbye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, NO WELFARE, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French American, the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.

I'm sorry, that's NOT what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill.

I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

What are you building? / Paint out buildings same or different color??
« on: January 18, 2018, 08:53:30 AM »
So, as you knuckleheads (and some boneheads) know, I am off building yet another shed/building/thing down at the farm.

I am at the point where I need to decide and go buy the paint for the thing.

Now the main shed/house/building/barn thing is red with green trim and a green metal roof, and so is the outhouse, they match.

The camper is light-mid gray with green trim and a gray roof, and so is the water containment structure built along side it.

The pavillion and the newly constructed deck is unfinished as of now awaiting more woody parts before staining/painting

Further down, maybe 200 meters south, and visible are two large hunter green water storage tanks and they will reside alongside a similar colored pump house (Because I wish that all to sort of blend into the landscape.

My thoughts were to stain those structures an oxford brown with maybe a hunter green trim, and both of them have green metal roofs.

This new shed will sit across from the shed, perhaps 25 feet away in a landscaped flower bed and rock wall looking area.

I am not really wanting to do red/green with a green roof scheme again, but I was wondering if it may make the arrangement look a bit junky

But I want to do something a bit different and "pretty" for the lady. She is a bit tired of my OD green theme all the time, and all that

So, not that I am going to pay any attention what so ever, but what say yee?  Poll time??
