Farmer Jon:
I had a harvest maid like this one for years. It quit working and I never found another one. I loved it.

Here’s the one we have, nine trays. We’ve used it for fruits, veggies. Also make fruit leather using the excess mother from our Apple cider vinegar and blending it with strawberries. The kids love it.

EL TATE:
Didn't Turner use to do a lot of this stuff, the whole preservation and superfood dehydration sort of thing?

Dave, as long as that thing is cleaned after use......it will double outlast 90% of the new models today.

Tate, we only ever canned... extensively. Now that we’re on an island, and meat is difficult to come by in large quantities, we don’t do any. We have looked at the freeze dryers, and will probably get one in the future, but doesn’t make much sense right now.

We did at one time participate in the Thrive Life freeze dried foods multi level marketing thing. And still use that product, but no longer a rep. Maybe that’s what you were recalling.
