I did a little swapping/upgrading today
Shawn said his are still out some, rather use him. Kit I am looking at uses all GM stuff and will fit smaller wheels (16?) even though I run 17s. Think the big 14 use dodge calipers?
Somewhere to store his ball mount(s) when it’s not in the receiver I’m guessingI’ve seen these plastic tub things on Facebook lately - made in the USA too. Of course now I can’t find it.Then there is this stuff, but “not supported” on HDshttps://builtrightind.com/products/bedside-rack-system-rear-panel-chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra-2019Or one (or two) of thesehttps://realtruck.com/p/undercover-swing-case-truck-bed-toolbox/

Just a pia to store or take off and heaven help me to remove one for a long bed on my own. What do you mean hitch storage? Like a metal rack to go in your receiver

Like a metal rack to go in your receiver when i had a canopy on my LBZ, it never came off. if i have to haul larger things, I have either a 10' dump trailer or a 28' enclosed car trailer. so if the top came off, it would be a once in a lifetime thing ... lol (famous last words)I have a bulletproof hitch system, with a dual 2" & 2-5/16 that stays in the hitch and i have a 1-7/8 that i kept in the truck box along with a couple extra pins. https://www.bulletproofhitches.com/collections/2-5-hitches/products/2-5-extreme-duty-6-drop-riseQuote from: rpar86 on April 21, 2023, 12:25:50 AMSomewhere to store his ball mount(s) when it’s not in the receiver I’m guessingI’ve seen these plastic tub things on Facebook lately - made in the USA too. I would have to ponder that $600 - 1000 price tag. the only thing that would make this a no-go for me is that it takes away my upper tie down eyelets ... as this system secures itself in to those 2 holes. i might be able to make it work.i have seen a few different versions of that swing case, and have pondered it. after watching a clip of the system on a screen that i can see, i could possibly see that as being an option.Quote from: Farmer Jon on April 21, 2023, 07:11:28 AMQuote from: Nate on April 20, 2023, 08:33:00 PMQuote from: Flyin6 on April 20, 2023, 07:47:30 PMQuote from: Nate on April 20, 2023, 05:12:22 PMI did a little swapping/upgrading todayWhat am I looking at?So you had a last gen D-max LP5...Is this something different?I took off the diamondback tonneau cover and put an ARE canopy on it.Now I just need help figuring out some sort of tool, strap, hitch stuff storage so it's not in the way.Hitch stuff storage goes under the back seat. I transport dogs back there, so under seat storage is not really an option. In all honesty, I do not keep items like the list below inside the cab of my truck. I have personal experience and knowledge of just how deadly of a projectile those types of things can become in a rollover. Wendy tries to give me schiff because when i get into the drivers seat of any vehicle, because it takes me a few moments to put stuff in secure places and remove crap that does not need to be in the drivers compartment of the vehicle. this is a list of what stays in my truck at all times:1. several different straps for securement of loads in either bed or trailers2. a set of emergency triangles3. a 10 ABC fire extinguisher4. a fully equipped tool bag5. 2ga x 25' jumper cables6. 1-7/8 hitch ball
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
What a twist after all these years! Bet it was tuff seeing it drive off. That burned out house lot near my place is listed for 550k!

My farm equipment is selling really fast.andthings I never knew were of any interest to people. One gentleman bought the out-house!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'll bet the farm goes pretty quick. For some reason, Robertson County land is super-hot right now.
That badger gave you a kind warning!!!
Took a couple days off to enjoy the desert before it gets any warmer. Took a 25 mile trail (5 hours in the General... Very rough) that ended at an oasis. Never been here and definitely planning to go back. So, it's a wide slot canyon, running water year round, that ties into a larger canyon with a protected status, and more water.... not even allowed to hike that one without a permit. Some of the trees have a 10+ foot stump. Saw a couple families of Coati also. Too bad we had to leave right away to make it back to camp before dark. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
To be fair, aluminum is terribly fussy to weld. Successfully. I broke the trans cooler on my truck. Our welder at the time, one of the best I’ve ever worked with, couldn’t get it. I’m sure he tried his darndest. But ouch that hurts. Hope you can find someone to help. The aluminum on that cooler and line look a lot heavier than the soldered together trans cooler was. But it’s oxidized, oil covered/coated and filled. Don’t hold too much hope. It will be a tough fix.
Just got a letter from social security to inform me medicare part B will cost me another $65 over the $165 standard as I have a "good retirement" income.Goes in line with all the current policies that you make more, you pay more. I also just get 1/2 of the normal SS if I was poor, now that will be 1/2 of what it was,,,,,,,,,,,,
