So what are we suggesting with this?

Assignation?
Too much adrenaline?
Entire event thought out and set up, as in a mil style hit? (See first statement)

That is very interesting thanks for that link.   If they did do a nationwide backed alternate currency though how long would it take for the bankers to arrange some kind of regulation for it?   Taking matters into your own hands when taking on the "man" usually leads to the man destroying you.

My thought is the market place will always:
1. Be smarter than the banksters
and
2. Come out with something new about as soon as an old system is regulated

My theory:
Excessive taxation and regulation causes smart people to become even smarter!

My old corp yard got nailed for a $50K fine when they topped off a skid with non dyed fuel.  Even though they pay the tax separate the feds said no.

I run a 5gal jug of Soy oil through my Max all time. That and 40+ ULSD gives me a 15% bio mix.
And it gives you untold protection to the HPIP. Soy is the single best lubricant for the highly stressed pumps in these common rail motors

thanks for the compliments. he has many hours in the intake alone.. but hearing that kind of feedback helps. haha

thinking of something like this for the under hood air filter/box. anyone here happen to know the CFM requirements for an HX35.. Norm..??

600 CFM seems like plenty.. especially since it's forcibly being sucked in and not just passively pulled by cylinder suction.

would like to have a SqD type pre filter on it as well.. where did you source yours from Don?

and possibly.. but less likely just based on space:
https://www.doghouserepair.com/store/item/8821/17-2516-air-filter-housing-aluminum-12-body-4-in-4-out-left-side-empi/

I think it's a Donnaldson product. Mine has the spinner inside. Since I flew whirly birds, I connected with it on a very basic level 8-0

I would think that motor needs a lot more than 600CFM.

On my Tundra which was supercharged, when I added the homemade 3" snorkel, it would only make 4 psi boost afterward when before it made 7psi. Turbos pull in a lot of air

Faith Discussion / Re: For my wife
« on: March 10, 2016, 11:30:20 AM »
Mike, I came across the following article in my journey.

In my personal walk, I have made a bit of a break through by changing a simple word. Where in the bible the word "Faith" is used...Substitute the word "Trust." See if changes the way you look at it...

How Can We Learn to Trust God Completely?

Lorraine Day, M.D.

Faith is more than positive thinking. Positive thinking will NOT produce faith. Faith is trust in God, and the only way to develop faith is to learn to know God. Since He is trustworthy, as we learn to know Him, we spontaneously learn to trust Him. Faith is trusting God when things don't turn out the way we expect.

Hebrews 11:6 is the classic text:

"Without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is (that God exists), and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

God IS a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Not those who seek merely His blessings, but those who seek Him, are the ones who find their reward. For He is the reward.

 Yet, Luke 18:8 says,

"When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on earth?"

You can't work on your righteousness - nor can you work on your faith. Both are gifts. Both are fruit. Both come as a result of knowing Jesus. And knowing Jesus comes as a result of spending time in communion and fellowship and relationship with Him. If you will come to Him, He will give you the genuine faith that you need.

The first byproduct of seeking Jesus is genuine faith. Righteousness, or right-doing, is the second.

No man can create faith. The Spirit of God operating upon and enlightening the human, creates faith.

Only two things are necessary in order to trust someone. First you must find someone who is trustworthy. Second, you must get to know him.

But when it comes to the Christian life, only one thing is required; that you come to Jesus, and that you keep coming to Him day by day. If you will keep coming to Him, God has made Himself responsible for taking care of everything else that needs to happen in your life. "If the eye is kept fixed on Christ, the work of the Spirit does not cease until the soul is conformed to God's image." E.G.White, The Desire of Ages, pg 302.

The only deliberate effort in the Christian life is to seek God. Spontaneous effort toward other things will result.

God is bringing us to a decision: Do we trust God or do we trust in "man"?

Isn't it reasonable to trust good Christian experts, like doctors and counselors? Doesn't God work through them?

When Jesus was on earth and someone came to Him for healing, He never once said, "Go see Luke, I heal through doctors." (Luke was a physician) Instead, Jesus healed the person directly, either through His Word, which we have today in the form of the Bible, or He healed them through natural methods, such as clay or water.

God has promised to "heal ALL our diseases." Psalm 103:3 He tells us that He, alone, is our Physician. "I am the Lord who heals you." Exodus 15:26 Then He tells us exactly how He will do it in Deuteronomy 7:11-15: "If you obey My laws (including His Ten Natural Health Laws), My commandments and My decrees. . . I will keep you free from EVERY disease."

We must claim God's promise of healing, THEN we must follow His procedure that consists of keeping His Ten Commandments and following His Ten Natural Health Laws (Please see "You Can't Improve on God" at ww.drday.com).

All action is dependent on belief. In other words, if you believe something, you will act on it. If you don't believe it, you will not act on it. If you truly believe that God heals through His Ten Step Natural Health Plan, you will follow it. If you DON'T believe in it, you won't. Instead, you will go to the doctor and use drugs and/or surgery to treat disease.

Many Christians believe that God gave us doctors, so therefore we should use them. Just because doctors are present on earth, we cannot automatically assume that God wants us to use them. The mere presence of various other groups of people on earth, such as thieves, prostitutes, murderers, does not, in any way, suggest that God wants us to employ their services.

(Note: I'm not suggesting that doctors are thieves, prostitutes or murderers. Please don't miss the point of this illustration.)

Many Christians will say they believe in God's Natural Plan of Healing, but then they trot off to the doctor to receive conventional drug treatment. It is impossible to have it both ways. Your actions will reveal your beliefs. What you DO speaks much louder than what you say!

That's why the Bible says, "Faith without works, is dead." If you claim to have faith, to believe God's promises, but you don't act on them, then you really have no faith. Your faith is "dead."

We are told in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now and let us reason together..." yet in 2 Corinthians 5:7 we're told to "walk by faith and not by sight."

What happens to our "reason" if we walk by faith (believing without seeing) and not by sight. The knowledge of this world tells us that we should only believe when we see! I'll believe it when I see it," is a frequently spoken phrase.

But God's way is different. God says that we will only SEE, when we first BELIEVE! The "believing" comes first. We must believe that God WILL do what He has already promised to do. Only then will we see the promise fulfilled.

Jesus could not do many healings in His home town of Nazareth "because of their unbelief." The one prerequisite for anyone who came to Jesus for healing was that he must "believe" - he must have faith.

But in order to trust God, one must get to know Him. You cannot trust a stranger with your life. In order to trust someone, that person must, over time, prove himself to be worthy of your trust - to be trustworthy.

How about using a drop down, folding stair like you have for attic access in a house? You would only lose a bit of floor space on the second floor, then.

Sure is looking good. That fits right in and better access will help to along with non injured JR. Looks like Ranger has become the yard dog.

What about a nice outside staircase along the new overhang. Then a simple ladder in a corner inside for access in inclimate weather or for when you want to go up/down with telling the world? You cab get those telescoping ladders for $75 on ebay. Bolt it to the wall and you just loose 6 inches. Going to do something similar in my garage.
Hmmm, JR

And here we see the effectiveness of a forum like this.

People feel free to just put their ideas out there without fear of ridicule

To that I say

JR You Bonehead, What kind of freakin, idiotic, moronic small minded idea is that, you surf side numbskull!

Nah, just kiddin!

I kind of like it bro. But I do have plans to add a porch, a deck, and a landing after some serious earth fillin' on the 8' door side.

Oh and on another note (Or did I mention it already??? The builder thinks I should gut the house and rebuild it into a country cabin. Hmmm, thinkin' about that too now!

What about a steel spiral staircase? Would save floor real estate? Prob expensive, but maybe could fab one or find one on Craigslist or something

Edit: prob a dumb idea due to cost thinking about it more

We actually discussed it today.

And I once owned a timber Frame home with a spiral steel staircase to the loft.

They still take up a goodly amount of space, and building around them is difficult. I'll go up two steps to a landing, then make a ninety and continue on the adjacent wall. I'll make storage or hide utilities under the landing so it won't be a gross loss of space. Then a closet under the main rise and I have a place to hang a mop. The little Ranger has the M-1 Mop on his drivers license!

Oh speaking of mops, I met a sweet elder lady today. She makes brooms from scratch. She grows the broom corn, harvests it, straightens the broom stuff, the sews it all up. They look cool. You'll see one in my shed soon!

the site is really shaping up, and nice little shed/living qtrs.

I'm already moving forward on building the "Shed" out. I ordered 16 sheets of 3/4 tongue and groove plywood today, and will close in on the 26 2 X 10's tomorrow or Friday.

Ciphering out the staircase is a bit challenging. I might loose partial usage of one of the windows in the utility room because of the steps. Talking to Mike, I think I'll use an aggressive 8" step and keep it steep. That way I can insure future injuries which some people rightly deserve and give me an opportunity to splint up broken bones from time to time

It's all about the training!  ;-)))

Do you 'push' with the back blade on the box in reverse ever?

I was watching some how to's on using box blades recently, as i'm going to borrow my grampa's Deere 3032e with the box blade soon for some dirt work around our house, and trying to learn the tips and tricks of how to use them best and i didn't realize that they're used a lot to push in reverse

I don't, but you can if you want to. Mostly I angle it so the tines are above the surface and the blade does the cutting. Just drive over the surface...for awhile...and that blade cuts the high spots away.

With a 3032, you will want a smaller box, maybe a 4 footer. Not enough "Butt" in that tractor for a larger blade

22722
I have a problem with that in several ways. Lavoy seemed liked he was trying to get shot. Reaching into your coat in a situation like that is nothing more than suicide.

Having said that, He was shot so many times...in the back...A could in the arms or legs would have gotten the job done, and he might have survived...

Mostly, it pisses me off seeing those officers continuing to shoot into the truck when there was no return fire from it. Adrenaline was making the officers over react possibly. but they continued to shoot for awhile...WHY?

This is just another step to a cash less society.  If they eliminate the $100 bill then it will be much harder for individuals to keep large sums of cash out of banks.  They are saying the reason is because it makes it harder for people doing illegal things to conduct business, but the real reason is control and tracking.  Cash transactions leave no trace of what you bought or who you bought it from etc.

Did you know there are areas in the United States that honors other forms of currency?

Here's a list:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_community_currencies_in_the_United_States

I have read that some of the new dollars are backed up with real gold.

Speaking of which, a gold and silver coin based system is just one handy inventor away from reality. More and more the people are taking matters into their own hands

Roger that on the brake bleeding. Air in the ABS module is hard to remove. Now you can follow the GM procedure...

or

You can take the truck out after a normal bleeding and following acceleration stomp on the brakes a few times. The idea is to get the anti lock mechanism to cycle. That will purge any air in there. You will notice a stiff pedal after doing it once or several times, depending on how much air snuck in there. I did it to my Silvy and the technique worked just fine!

As us armchair builders "suggest", you do know much of this is in fun and experiance over our lives, perhaps a little shorter than yours.

Something I found quick was the bounce in my 14ft floor (16ctr-2x10) With that huge open space you are going to get some bounce. I put a 4x4 under my center on pier blocks.

Sure looks like a nice size "shed"  8)

JR, the joists are 12" not 10" and on 16" centers.

Walking on it now, there is no bounce I can detect. Not trying to protect my project per see, but it feels as solid as a rock right now.
