Then we moved on towards Valdez lots of Waterfalls and Eagles. We stopped by this cool tunnel,it was started and never finished after a gun fight between different crews!!    Waterfall along the road.  And how bout this Eagle grabbed a fish right in front of us!  Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

After Anchor Point we went to Portage and stayed in Williwaw USFS campground. Yea too bad Michigan doesn't have the Death penalty, 2 guys from Flint selling pot to 2 brothers from Grand Rapids met in Owosso deal goes bad and the 2 from Flint are shot dead the 2 brothers are claiming self defense, the other 2 pulled a knife is what the defense is saying. Prosecutor says in was the brothers trying to rob the other 2.

Well it was a busy week last week. Spent Thursday and Friday at jury duty,made it to the second round but didn't get picked for the jury. Was a first for our County, a double murder to outsiders by outsiders! A Craigslist dope deal goes bad! Then still fooling around with Insurance company and contractors  Service is in but the electrical inspectors don't work on Fridays so they are supposed to be out today then we can call power company to run new lines and get him some power,only been 9 days!! Spent another day on the phone with insurance company trying to get time set up for the adjuster to come out. They're busy I understand but you want to be top of the list but that doesn't always happen. On a good note our agent recommend a company called Belfor Property Restoration our contact guy called and met me right after work then called later in the evening to make sure we didn't have any more questions! Got his cell number and told he will talk to insurance in the morning and call me back by 11 am! You don't see old fashioned service like that much anymore! Told my son to keep any receipts for gas for the generator and how many hours we had in clean up because they would have to sent a tree company out so they can take that off his deductible.Then talking to younger son told him about this company and he laughed at me and said Dad we fly the owner of the company! And that he's very hands on kind of guy and down to earth, I never heard of this company but he said they're all across the country. It's a small world sometimes!

Well we had a fun weekend. Son called about 10:30 Saturday night after a storm went through. Tree in his yard came down and pulled the service right off the house!!   Tree was still in the high line so we called power company and central dispatch because it was in the road,didn't want anyone to stop and try to move it not knowing it was in the wires. When fire department got there to block we went and bought my generator over and hooked up.  Spent Sunday cleaning up and calling insurance company, still trying to get adjusters out today to get the ball rolling. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Also if you ever watch Alaska the Last Frontier the Kilcher's only live about 20 miles from town!! Not quite as far as they make it look on tv.

Well I'll post more pics Here's our campsite on the Homer Spit!  Here's the Spit you can see the airport and seaplane lake also  Here's the tide coming in it was pretty cool to watch. It would come up about 6" with each wave!  And while we were standing there this sea otter comes out of the water to play on the beach!  Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Heading back into Seward  Then we ran into the Ramblin' Rose from Deadlest Catch!  Then we went to Exit Glacier Nature Center you can hike right up to the glacier here.  Nice trails and visitors center here. Then stopped in a little town called Moose Pass they have water wheel that has been maintained by the same family for 3 generations! It's right by the road and has a working grinding stone hooked up!! Anyone can stop to use it! Only thing I had was my jackknife,it worked great.  Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

ok back to pics Here's a little boy for you!   He was in Denali on the bus tour we took. These are on the Denali Hwy about 80 miles of dirt road.  Then we're driving along and Karen yells stop so she can take pictures of some swans in a small lake, and I started looking around and everywhere you look are blueberries!! So I got to work while she did pictures.  That bowl was full in about 20 minutes!! Happy Camper  we had pancakes for a week!!  Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Made it to the ocean you have to use a tour company to get the last 8 miles thur oil company property.  Then 2 guys went swimming and wife said she wished she had brought her suit so one of them we were talking to said he had a extra pair of shorts and a shirt she could use and a large towel then they would head towards the bus and turn their backs while I held the towel like a good husband so she could change! Here's more pics There was road construction everywhere and how they do the roads up there.    They put down the base that looks like what Don has been digging up then 4" of foam then the road mix on top! Then this guy had the best ride to work! We love the camper for this type of trip. We bought it just for Alaska, we have a 30' 5th wheel for normal vacations. I wouldn't want a tall camper saw too many of them rockin and rollin on the ruff roads! No leaks and we spent a week in the Kenai Peninsula with nothing but rain!! We're going to sell it now that the trip is over so if someone is looking for a very good camper with some good mods done I can list everything that was done and photos going to be asking $4000 can work out a deal on delivery { Road Trip!!}

Son got stopped by Mi DOT and ticket for no CDL on the work dually Truck's Gross is 12,300 lbs, Trailer Gross 14,000 lbs so he said needed CDL because over 26,000 total. Read the rules and unless the truck is rated total GVWR over 26,00 lbs then don't need CDL , The Dodge they have is only rated to 21,500 lbs total. Son took it to court and Judge thew it out said the same thing. So my take is for Mi you can tow that dual tandem trailer with a smaller truck say a 3/4 ton and not over GVWR and not need a CDL.

Before I forget you guys were right the truck was kinda heavy so I stopped at the first truck scale!! 11,240 lbs !!! 4600 lbs on the front and 6600 lbs on the rear!!! Good on the front rating but over on the rear by 600 lbs. But it handled it fine sat level with the Satble Loads on it. My wife knows how to pack every inch of the truck!! Forgot what I posted we also have been in Seward and went on the Glacier and Whale watching tour. It was a 6 hour trip with a Prime Rib and Salmon dinner!! The meal was fantastic and the trip was even better!! We saw Humpback whales and Dall porpoises Stellar sea loins Killer whales sea otters and an eagle!! Then we got to the glacier and it was amazing we got to see it calving off a huge hunk of ice. The captain put the boat right up to the glacier and we could hear it cracking and popping!! Then we saw an ice burg right beside us flipping over. It was a great trip.

Made it to Deadhorse and the Arctic Ocean Karen went for a dip it was great watching her!! We made it almost to the end of the Dalton Hwy then got a puncture in the right rear tire was able to fix it with a plug only stopped for about 20 minutes to fix it. We're in Denali right now and seeing some amazing things and lots of animals. Now heading towards the Kenai Peninsula.
