On a smaller scale, I put in a bid for a local gas company contract, to service their vehicles and I didn't check any of the "Diverse Suppliers" options. Interesting enough, I didn't get the bid, even tho they expressed great interest in my shop doing the work. Notice there are only 4 options that are in bold script... LGTB owned? Really? WTF

I can't believe you finally did it Tex. Those are going to look good on that truck. You figure out the trailer yet?
Good luck Dave. An acre is more than a lot of folks have.

Mr Snappy comes back by Monday. I may ask for his opinion, or not. lol
Just urethane with "dull" additive Tex. I don't worry about chips, although my big box is 25 years old and still good as new, other than a layer of dirt. The previous owner must of been a body man, because it looked like he spilled thinner in the bottom. The powder coat was pealed up.....another reason to paint it.

I outgrew my roll around cart at work and came across this fruity, used, larger one for a good price. It hurt my eyes so much that I stripped it down and repainted it. Desert flat tan of course. .... It'll be tough trying to keep greasy prints off, but I think it looks better now. It looks blue in the pic but it was bright purple before. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Locally, and at cabelas/basspro in phoenix are both out of colts, armalites, and bushmasters...colt was my first choice. I ended up with these from cal Ranch, 2 andersons and a ruger. I really like the ruger for the price. I guess they had dpms 308s for 799 last week and ran out (darn it); flip up sight on the ruger;

I have some 80% lowers ordered, but if I can get a couple(?) for 5 bills or so each, I may be able to triple my funds in a few months. :)

Thanks guys. Just checked with the local cal ranch and they have several "cheapos" on the shelf, including both the oracle and the andersons. Might have to take a lunch break here shortly!

That's a pretty good price for sure. I was just hoping to walk in somewhere to purchase in person. I've never bought a gun without seeing it first.

I think he meant rent one, a smaller one, to see if it would be big enough for the hide...if it works out, you would still be money ahead by spending on a lesser machine.
Either way, i can't wait for the pics of destruction!

..just be prepared to have everything else in the garage coated unless it's covered up. That stuff can shoot quite a ways if the pressure is turned up.

Dave, did you decide to get one built, or just having it rebuilt? Just wondering who you might use that's close to where you're at. I've got MikeL close on the left coast, but haven't set aside that kind of dough yet. ...already had to change out the convertor at 20k.

Me telling Dave to drive easy is like calling a kettle black. This truck will be lucky to see 100k.

Shawn, does this mean that it's not set up for semi-auto, or all they all called that? JT-10 Complete Upper Description

Was wondering where you were kyle....what, they don't have interweb up there...pokepoke
I may be calling you Shawn. Did you look at that upper...it's supposed to be complete. I would assume that if a mistake can be made, it will be on the bottom end, since that's what I'll be building..?,,?...or do you still have to fine tune a complete upper? Like I said, I have no idea what I'm doing, but should be a great learning experience for future stuff (like the 5 .223 lowers I ordered)

I haven't, I don't, and probably won't. lol Truthfully, I don't have a clue of what I'm doing.....probably should've asked some opinions first. Those are from these guys. A bit higher than the rest, but some of the "name' brands seem to be out of stock ...brownells, anderson, etc. https://www.80-lower.com/I also ordered a few 556s while I was there. Was thinking about one of these for the upper. i don't feel comfortable building one from scratch: http://www.jtactical.com/JT-10-Complete-Upper_p_52.htmlany and all opinions welcome...I can take it!

Absolutely georgous country, and big as well. That one pic of the snow made me think "avalanche".
You changed that flexplate on the trail? ugh ..maybe time for a billet.

Man I've always wanted one of those drills. Sounds like a solid plan...I'll wait til you're done and then copy it. I have a sheet of 1/2" saved for such an occasion. Went to big 5 to pick up a new cot and ended up with 2000 rounds of ammo and a new bedside gun for the wife. ...just a Stevens but for 2 bills I couldn't pass it up.
