Chinese spyware
« on: May 14, 2015, 09:55:55 AM »
I noticed my computer slowing down then acting oddly

Next the scroll feature while on explorer stopped working

So I started looking at what might be running in the background

When looking under internet options, at the startup page, I noticed right below the "Bing" home page, which I use as my search engine were several lines of code written in Chinese

WTH???!!!

So I deleted them and refreshed and restarted.

Bingo, everything is running fine again

We are being looked at, so ensure anything you say on line is indeed for public dissemination and also look at it from an malicious intent perspective. The enemy IS gathering information...

Mozilla Firefox
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Nope.  Just a better browser, somewhat less subject to malware

Firefox is good. I read that some of the "code" you were seeing is a disconnect between McAfee (assuming that's what you're utilizing) and the Chrome and Firefox interwebz.. It's not a virus or anything, just the programs not meshing or something computer technological like that.

I use Kepersky anti virus

I like the idea of those devious ruskys looking over their own hackers
