Pants size or garage?

My garage is 60x160 at the widest and longest points. Plenty of space to collect the stuff we would have given away or thrown away before. Actually it is a wonderful blessing as, even with the cars tractors, and assorted tools and projects, there is still space for the kids to ride their bikes when it’s nasty outside.

In the middle of project at the wrong time of year. Cleaning out the garage so can Sheetrock ceiling, blow insulation and then spray foam the walls. I can’t believe the tons of crap the previous owner left in the rafters. It’s all out now.

Now have to move most of everything to storage container that we rented and had delivered.

They will be here on January 2 for foam.

What size is this shop?  14’ walls?  I’m looking at doing a 40x40 and I like the space this looks like it is.
The garage is 48’ x 30’ so we will cut that in half. The shop side will be 30’ x 24’.

Looking for a Reznor heater now on Craigslist.

Just came back from Reno for an alone 2 days. No kids, no wife, no plans, just wanted to unwind. Sure felt good. Then the calls started on the way home as to when I would be home,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The idea of some land up there sounds really good. I don't mind a little snow and can deal with the heat (both to a point) Already thinking about what I will need/want.

Everyone in the house finally got over the flu or what ever that was we all had. Today we go to my moms for Christmas. Then we start packing up to go to Kentucky. We are heading out the day after Christmas day. My wife's uncle is going to take Zane and I out for the free youth deer hunt on the 29th. If we cant get any deer here maybe we can bring home a nice mountain deer.

Glad yours feeling better Jon.

Looks like I have a bite on the wife’s old rig. Had to drive another 260mi round trip this morning to get the title and extra key and cargo cover to take to my buddy who’s selling it for me

Picked up keys for new townhome lease this morning.

Unloaded trailer at shop, one last load to go I believe

Helped Baylee pick up new ride, got it back to shop until we fix a couple small things and get some plates and insurance on it.

Went out to Texas Roadhouse for Christmas dinner. Packing house up tomorrow as movers arrive at 8am on Weds. close on house Friday at 1pm

Why buy a $6 gift when you can buy all the supplies and make it yourself for $90 and 6 hours of your time? ;)

All seriousness though, it is the thought that counts and those look awesome Ken.

Finished cleaning out old house this morning and cleaned it for new owners. High of 26 here today and I miss our Colorado weather.

Congrats on your home sale, it’s a good feeling when it gets finalized.

Had to replace the oil filter adapter gasket on the Honda Odyssey.  I had been noticing a small drip drip of oil leakage over the last few weeks, but didn’t think or have the time to devote to it. Got the oil changed last week and asked about it, I was told it looked like the pan gasket. Fast forward to day before Christmas and driving to Costco, it starts stuttering and goes limp mode. Took it to Valvoline (different shop from where it was changed) since it was right there. They said t was empty m, no oil on dipstick. They crawled around and said the bottom of the engine was coated in oil. They put 3.5 qts of oil back in and said start it up and we’ll see what is going on. As soon as I started it up, the guy below said it was draining oil from above the oil filter. In the one minute - two minutes it was running, it dropped a quart.  Manage to get it home and ordered the part. About a 30 minute job to change the gasket, pull right front tire, hose down with brake cleaner, remove three bolts, wipe down mating surfaces and put in new gasket. Not a drip leaked since then.  The old gasket was brittle and had a break in it.

Long story for an easy fix.

Yep, I have a house to clean out too but bet it will be me with little help.

26* I think I have seen that as a low here once or twice in the last 30 years. Don't miss it at all.

Picked up Christmas trees with the Scouts from 8-12. The 1101 trailer worked great, but was even better with tie down I added.

Took three days but got the boat down to AZ for the winter. JR, how do you get anywhere towing at 55 mph? Darn trucks were trying to run me over so I speeded up enough to stay with them.

Took three days but got the boat down to AZ for the winter. JR, how do you get anywhere towing at 55 mph? Darn trucks were trying to run me over so I speeded up enough to stay with them.

I do 65, most with trailers do, regular traffic is 70-75 normally. Just watch your lanes, you have to use the right lane unless passing or its 4 lanes.
