Been eyeing these for a while.
8", 15 amp.
I cut some 1/2" scrap plate for future use as bases for awning posts.
With the new blade it cut faster than my 45 plasma cutter, with no clean up needed on the cuts.
The 8" channel cut like butter... MUCH better than an abrasive saw.
Awesome tool!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200520/ffca63ca0d5dafef1e612292f2490626.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200520/ae83c0a5d29f2af32b3ec9e79fc0f49f.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200520/d599562888e86d06a69946ee7471ccf4.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200520/1a3cf2530e797ba0151108a682a3221d.jpg)

What do those run retail? Yes I could use google but figured it would be nice to have posted here

I think 320 at HD... they make a smaller one that's only $10 cheaper.. kinda weird.
They also have an 18v version.

So I was thinking about using the Lenox metal saw blade on my chop saw. You think that it the right call?
I/2 inch is crazy,

Chop saw spins too fast for a carbide tooth blade from what I've read.
Conventional chop saw spins around 3600 rippums. A "cold" saw spins about half that.
I watched Andrew C. on utube cut 1" plate, and some huge I-beam with his circular saws, so I was finally sold on the idea.

I have a Dewalt 18 volt one. Love it. New blades are the ticket though.

I can’t find the one I need. It’s cut a lot. And 1/2” plate, pipe, all kinds of angle.
If I find one I’m going to buy a few.
Once it dulls you know about it.
I don’t think you need a lot of them.
