If I read the SD law correctly, Surveyors have the right to come onto the property with 30 days prior notice.
Seems like the law that THEIR representatives passed allows for this.
Do I like imminent domain? Heck no, but it looks legal.
Now as for the strong-arm tactics, well that is no good and will reap repercussions.
I'd say that unless all that pipeline equipment is guarded 24/7 the construction people are going to experience a lot of trouble.
