So it's Winter in Wi
« on: January 22, 2016, 04:54:20 PM »
As the title alludes it is wintertime in Wisconsin. Today after work, I was chilling on my couch and the fire alarm goes off; no problem. I throw my Carhartt jacket on over my hoodie, throw on my Merrells and roll out.

Apparently people don't think to grab warm stuff. Case in point, I'm outside, there are some fellow apartment dwellers outside, in a gaggle formation outside the door. I approach, stand off to the side and listen to the multitude of conversations ranging from.. this is crap (actual content edited) and "it's too cold"; again read the subject. I look over after a couple minutes and a lady around my age is shaking, as in cold.

I pulled my Carhartt off and a couple dudes looked at me and were like " he's warm?!?"

My response was, "No, I'm giving the jacket to her so she stops shaking..."

You think other people would have thought of the corrective action to a lady shivering...

Hence the predictions for SHTF scenarios.  Society is evolving towards the "stupid is normal" range- way to be a Real Man Bobby!

You, sir, have the makings of an honorary Texan.  You should move down here.  It was 60 and sunny today.
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Apparently I'm supposed to move to Reno, Kentucky, now Texas.. I'm good, but I can't be in multiple places at once, even though people swear I have the ability to be where they don't expect me.

Bobby, you know what they say about Texas...has something to do with steers and something else...icr. hahaha

Now Az on the other hand, doesn't have as many steers, and it was also in the 70s today. I'm sure we can round up a job for ya out here. No pun intended.
