looks like the P63 didn't even see the B17, just sad!

B17 is below and to the right slightly...blocked by the engine cowling...No TCAS in that world.

This was my first thought.

When they had the air show in august of 2020 down here, the bigger planes had riders.

Terrible events for sure.
