So what does that mean to be relieved of command?  Demotion? Kicked out? Loss of pension and benefits?

At the O-6 level (his paygrade), it means career over...hang out for a bit while we determine if we will take punitive action, and if not, welcome to retirement.

I’m sure CNN will hire him to be a “commentator” and bash Trump

in this case he wont be demoted, but he will be hidden somewhere until this blows over and then he will be told "have a nice day, thanks for your service, enjoy your retirement!"

but to answer your question "what does it mean to be relieved of command" Charles....imagine if David Wichmann came to your office personally and told you to collect your personal effects and you that you have 10 minutes to turn your badge in and leave the building and never to return!
Lol. Nice way to relate it. Except Dave would send someone else to do it for him.

I am officially going to loose my mind with the virus I think, I can’t make a quick trip to get anything anywhere, it has become a production.

Not saying I am the only person in this state who has things to do.  Just saying I only care about mine at the moment.

One piece of 3 inch pipe and I was up at 5:30 to get it at the local HD.   What a giant pain in the butt

Open 6-6 and only allowing a certain number of customers in at a time, now with ever home owner bob off work or working from it’s just inconveniencing me and I oddly don’t like it.

I was at hd last sat and they definitely weren’t rationing people in the store....

They should have been though, but maybe just take a step back and breathe Dave. I get it the virus sucks but these are the same conversations I’m having with my 18 year old daily about not seeing her bf. At least we don’t live in ny city where they’re stacking bodies in back of refer trucks. Things are going to move a bit slower for awhile but we have a lot to be grateful for in the big picture. Be good

you could move to rural Oklahoma the hardware store in our town (he doesn't have lumber) but he will drop what ever you need off at the house after work or even on a maxed out day he may only have 5 people in the store. Even if he is closed he will come in and open the store up for you. Love small town USA

Well, I use them Nate. What’s the issue?

I only use them for heavier items, we use T pins stuck in at a downward angle for light stuff.

Are you asking about the morons who can supposedly use a drill and a screwdriver to put one of those in a wall VS using a drill and a screwdriver to put one of these in the wall instead!

While not my preferred method.... I two have used them, I would much rather find a stud or back the drywall with 2x10 to hand towel bars on. But that’s not always an option.   So yeah. Sorry sounds like your out numbered Nate

My state (Oklahoma) just passed and the governor signed it into law a "Anti Red Flag law". Which don't get me wrong I am thankful for that law but why do we need a law to protect several constitutional rights?  :lipsrsealed:

How about those zip toggle bolts?  I’ve gotten to like them for when I would have been cursing toggles before and seem to hold better than the screw in ones.

That what the Air Force uses to hold their aged fleet together?

Funny one right there

Talkin about the "Old" fleet...

The Armee uses paint to hold our stuff together!

The Navee some rust converter...

I have no idea why I started this, nor where I'm going with it

Disregard...

So now we are getting in trouble at work for doing things that we were told its OK to do.  Every morning we sit in the office and have a little meeting. We run everything by the boss before we do anything because of the way hes been. Now he is forgetting entire conversations and then accusing us of making up stories. Claiming he was never in that discussion. Well then who the heck was sitting in the chair behind the desk?

so this morning is starting off like a huge pile of steaming hot diarrhea Schiff!!!!

i got to sleep in a little because Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my work from home days.  which means i don't have to get up early to scrub the stankin areas and get all dressed up to impress somebody that i don't care about and has no bearing on wheteher or not my career stalls or moves forward.  but I digress....

So i woke up and went into the kitchen to get my morning coffee and to feed maynard.  well murphy gave me a big ol F.U.!  it seems that i forgot to put the carafe for the coffee pot back into the machine and the built in safety stop switch decided to stop working.  so i had an entire pot of coffee and grounds all over the counter top, all down the front of the cabinets, a good 5ft x 5ft section of hardwood floor was swimming, all of the drawers and lazysusan had coffee in them....

and all i wanted to do was wake up and with total quietness sit with my face in some free cell solitaire before it was time to log on and learn for the day!
