Dang....mines closing too. It had the cheapest gas around. I used to shop there all the time when the kids were little (diapers, wipes, etc.). They also had good prices on full rib roasts etc I could cut up.  Don't go there much lately other than for gas, but I did get things occasionally.

Kintuck did well,

But the Yankees just north of us in Cincy lost out big time!

They just built a brand new Sam's here about 3 years ago.  Now it's closing.  Tell me how that makes sense?  What's worse is that it was always busy when we went there.  Now Costco is planning to build a new store, I guess to pick up where Sam's left off.  I am not going to complain though, we would prefer Costco.  But it is a little bit further drive.

I think Costco is hard to beat. What always upset me with Sam’s & whether it was justified or not was that I hated paying a membership to Sam’s & walk in to Walmart and buy the same product on sale cheaper at Walmart occasionally. Just rubs you the wrong way.....

Don’t get me wrong that happens with Costco & Walmart too but at least they ain’t the same parent company......

I go to both, but prefer Costco.

1 is closing up in Sac so no big deal.

Wally open a super center in Fairfield and Vallejo that only lasted a few years each. They didn't check the areas out before they built, as in low lifes. They built new ones a few miles from each that are great!

Costco carriers Prime brisket....jus saying.  that's the only brisket I smoke now
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

So it was good?

I don’t know yet...... it’s on the list though!

With two girls in basketball & one doing prep work several times a week for gymnastics (going into high school next year and is shooting for varsity cheer squad). We hardly have time to breath at the moment. Add to that the wife as of Tuesday is now over her 2nd facility in South Denver for an indefinite time frame so she has her hands full. It’s a bit of a circus around here.....
