So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are. Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!
I'm late to the party, the place looks awesome. I'll have to swing by whenever I go hunting out yonder. There's hunts in the planning phase.
Yep, the outriggers filling that void will help a lot. Inspector didn't like I cut the ends of 2x12 to 2x8 to fit the header and brackets. I had to point out it was still a 2x12 as the strength was really centered vs right on the end. He did like that I used SDS screws on every really major joint.
The palm nailer was the best thing I ever bought when it came to Simpson hangers.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Porch is all framed in, half the rafters are set as of the end of the day. Should be able to get the rest set tomorrow then blocking Friday is the plan. 3’ overhang to the front or west end of building 18” on other 3 sides. As I get older I get more creative on hanging long pieces of facia. Strategic placement of scab material help hold it in place and line up thing’s properly. Sorry no pics of that….Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When do the rafters arrive?
I'm bad, thought was some of the neighbors stuff.Quit messing around and get em up!
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Just about 20ft now?
I know it was much a younger man’s game but… back in the day we would have slid them up the outside wall. Walked the wall to the other side and worked our way down. These days maybe not so much.. I might be talked into tryin it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
