Checking in at the hospital with the wife for her neck surgery. I have come to the conclusion that it is much easier being the patient in steed of the one waiting. Prayers for a positive out come and recovery and quick healing.

Thanks
Steve

Bummer!

If she is anything like me, she just wants to get it over and behind her.

She is, she tried to talk the surgeon into doing the surgery tonight but because of blood thiners used for the heart cath they couldn't do it

A neighbor son inlaw was involved in a work accident. Installing a garage door spring his wrench slipped and the spring came loose and mangled his arm. He has already had 5 surgeries with more projected and they don't know if they can save the arm. Please pray for Chastin Nickols and his family. My neighbor Jimmy and his wife Dawnda as they are watching Chastin and Kayla 2 year old and it is a little more work than they remember.

there are a few things with springs I WILL NOT mess with in this world...garage door springs, dayton tire rims and split ring truck tires are just 3 of them.

Wow. Will do. I may have to rethink doing garage door springs. I’ve done several over the years. Keep the turning rods zip tied to the tracks.

Yeesh.
Garage door springs scare the bejezuz out of me.
They didn’t until one broke on me years ago. (Opening the door)
I couldn’t lift a 7x9 door.
Like zero chance.

Prayers for all involved.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

They have been able to take his chest tube out and the doctor are saying his body is trying to repair the arm. He has a scheduled surgery for Tuesday.

The wife neck surgery is scheduled for Monday.

Prayers would be appreciated

Update:
Chastin (garage door spring) hand was removed today, to much damage and was taking away from the arm healing. The doctors are still hopeful that his arm can be saved. Other good news out of this is that Chastin who has never been to church has asked his father in-law for a Bible and has started asked question. God may have gotten the young man attention.

My wife Tammy did not get to go home today surgery went fine but she has been having a bad go of it from the anesthesia. They hope she can go home tomorrow.

Thanks for the prayer

Please add a lady named Jan for prayers.

Jan has stage 3 cancer in her pancreas and large intestines. She is not responding well to chemo.

Jan is the mother of one of my old soldiers who has found the word of god.

I have kept this quiet for a while, because we have been waiting on an actual diagnosis.

Please add ray zemlicka and family to your prayer lists.  He has been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, he is 73, 68'/69' draftee vet, purple heart.

Tomorrow he has an appt to see exactly what stage it is in and treatment if possible.

I will update accordingly, thank you all.
