Well, have confirmation that my inverter is on its way. Took a couple days to get to Canada, now on to me. Hope it makes it before the weekend, not that I'll get that far, but will be nice to get started.
Panels are in the back of the truck, charge controller as well.
Probably should find a ground rod, not much grounding so far, other than the windmill tower.
I for see a fairly complex 'oil change'' in the electric stuff.
Currently it is all one circuit, protected by generator breaker.
With 30 amps coming from the new inverter I'll likely add a Lakeland maybe go to two circuits.

Still looking for a few odds and sods that I can think of, then it will be what I've forgot or neglected to think about...
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Yes funny trigger...lol. Just a stock Glock as it turned out.
I don't get how they don't like taking the locks off in the stores up here.
Finally did, but took a lot of work to convince them to do it so I could strip and inspect under the slide.

Put in back stop for our 500 yd range. Already have 25 yd and 100 yd all done.
Good ol Massey backhoe!

Loading 72 Chevy Plow Truck

About 1 yd on truck and 1 yd in backhoe

EzDumper works great

Then ran out of fuel in backhoe :-[ That took an hour to get restarted!   Someone forgot to check the fuel!
No pics it wasn't pretty, didn't get done till dark!
Finished backstop just need target frame put up

I keep some goodies in those containers,  and in the summer they get about *150, so trying to knock that down and at the same time give me a place to store engines,  small forklift, etc. I already had the metal....leftover from a mini storage site.

Had a friend from work come out and sight in his new 300 Win. Mag. at 300 yrds

Here's another notice the Baby DMax in the back ground, He Loves it! He's goten 34 mpg on two different road trips.

No pics but moved back to 500 ydrs and got my little Savage 223 Woodchuck gun out , Son went 4-4 So I had to show him and went 4-4 and quit with a tie before I got beat!! Marv pulled out the 300 and went 2-3, He's never shot out past 200 So that put a smile on his face :D

Not what I did today, but Saturday, so WDYDS? Took the family to the pumpkin patch in Snohomish. Cyndie's on my left, from my right, Mom, oldest sister, middle sister, youngest sister, brother in law, nieces/nephew front row. We were there from 1:30pm to dusk. Lots of activities for the kiddos.

You are dead on with the bars. Have the 5.9 with tranny and other parts in a old LUV bed trailer.

Cheap too being just 3/4 conduit. So about $30 invested there with the bender. Need a tarp then some angle for the bed rails. Weld a few pins on and done.

Yep, meant Tate. Got a buddy down the street named Nate.

Target idea is great, we had a similar setup on the black powder range at scout camp. JR, you're bringing back memories of my never realized plans to chop the wagoneer and make a soft top cover for it with a similar setup. NATE, nice to see you got something to keep you occupied.

So a CDL course is 15K now? Does that include a passing grade on the test even if you need to redo part of it? While at the County Road Dept. we did all the training, provided the truck and trailer and a driver to deliver the truck to the test area. If I remember correctly we even paid for the endorsement as the job required it. The renewals were on the drivers not us. Darn man do you really want to rattle around in a tractor or dump truck at your age? Too many other things to do  than be a driver with all the bull to have to wade through.

Put a new battery in XJ, since the other one was completely dead. Figured I could use it to get to work instead of borrowing Dad's truck. Put the battery in, she roared to life. Was about to get a hold of insurance and tell them I need full coverage when the mechanic called and said the Saturn is done.. Guess XJ gets to go back into the underground storage. Also found a small leak in XJ at the rear diff... yay me.

Today I laid another 28 bags of cedar mulch. And ordered another set of Alpine component 6 1/2 speakers for the front doors on the LB7. That will allow me to get after the replacement of the regulators with the new AC Delco regulators, dynamat and new door pull (drivers side). Eventually I'll get a 5 channel amp and a new head unit (double din conversion) and a single 10 inch sub.

I gave up my Class A-B CDL when I retired. So many restrictions now, homeland security and such. Wish I kept a non-commercial.

That bow is simple for the little trailer. Got a HF tarp and $20 in metal today. No rain tomorrow so I can build!

I have something in the works for the 1101 trailer also with leftover stuff from a trampoline.

Any more updates on the money pit Bobby?

I gave up my Class A-B CDL when I retired. So many restrictions now, homeland security and such. Wish I kept a non-commercial.

That bow is simple for the little trailer. Got a HF tarp and $20 in metal today. No rain tomorrow so I can build!

I have something in the works for the 1101 trailer also with leftover stuff from a trampoline.

Any more updates on the money pit Bobby?

That's right, you guys need a non commercial rider to pull RV's over a certain size now don't you. We can still pull ours the length of your state with out it so far anyway.

Hold up, did I just hear the xj received some love? Granted it was kinda a football butt pat lovin but ya gotta start somewhere! ;D

Yea XJ got a little bit of love. I'm hoping to get a couple other small things knocked out before the snow starts. I'm planning on waiting as long as possible before driving XJ, so I should have some time to take care of them.

Other than the slave cylinder, clutch and a bushing being replaced, the only other thing I know is that it's about $1,255 total with parts and labor. I haven't picked the car up yet, doing that after work.
So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are.  Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!

If you're going to build a box for that sub, please post your dimensions. if you're buying one, please let me know where. I've got two 12" and a wedge truck box that is useless. They are low profile fosgates intended for truck use, but the box is still too wide for behind the back seat or under either side of the 60/40 bench. How's your back after the mulch laying? did your truck get attacked?
