Sorry to ruin the good vibes but I need to ask you gentleman to say a prayer for a fallen officer, his family, and the Huntsville Police Department. During interdiction of a drug shipment one of our officers was shot and he has since died from his wounds.

That looks great and the brisket didn’t look under cooked to me. I did get trichinosis once so I’m probably not the guy to ask about judging meat by looks though.

My brother and I are going to spend the day at the community collage. We decided to take a crop scouting class. It cost us $12,000 every year to pay an agronomist to do it for us. They always send some kid straight out of school to do it anyway. We thought it was a package deal with the field grid sampling and the other services they provide. But its a separate charge.

Ive been to enough informational meetings and other classes over the years I pretty much know what to look for. However there are a few new weeds and diseases in the area that I am not familiar with. So we are going to see how this works out.
What is crop scouting Jon?

Anyone have a vibration in a steering wheel when slow turning.  In parking lot of a backing up trailer situation.   I tried to video or record the sound but no such luck.

Slow wheel rotation and the vibration lasts multiple rotations.

On my duramax

There’s also one in Nashville with the 6.0. The price is crazy but it’s super clean.

Put up a few tree stands yesterday morning then went to scout out a new spot. This is the second rattlesnake I’ve almost stepped on this year and I did step on a rat snake about a month ago. I think I’ll just leave that spot alone until it gets colder.

Their Vanguard line is made in Japan by Howa, which are great rifles. Their Mark V was still being made here last time I had my hands on one. It has been a few years though.

Terrible oversight on my part. That’s a beautiful No. 1

I believe all of Ruger’s centerfire rifles use hammer forged barrels. That’s a big plus.

Couple quick questions for you guys. How many gun companies are still in the US? Who are they?
For traditional hunting rifles:
Remington
Ruger
Savage
Kimber
Marlin
Henry
Thompson Center/Smith and Wesson
Higher end Weatherby
Winchester makes their parts here but assembles them in Portugal.

That makes two of us. All this hoopla over the 6.5 creedmore drives me nuts. We’ve had those ballistics for decades. It’s nothing new, just something new to take people money.

Personally I am a fan of the mid range .284 rounds. 7mm-08 and 280 Rem are are very good calibers and more versatile than the 6.5 stuff. 120-175gr loads are available. The nicest, made in USA, non custom shop guns I’ve dealt with are the Winchester model 70s. Now, the parts are still made here but as of 2015/2016 they moved assembly to Portugal . I still see the made in USA guns on gunbroker from time to time. If it were my money, that’s where I’d start looking. As far as scopes go, vortex isn’t made in the USA either. Leupold, US Optics, and Nightforce are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that are made here. Optics planet and a few others sell the Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40 for $299.

Thank you Turner, let me rephrase that “she’s not engineering strong in math” more than qualified for nursing. One strong suit they had were all the medical related degrees. So sky was limit in that department. We’ve been told they have a very good program. However, the 60+ year old lady who threw a ton of info at us in 1.5 hours couldn’t answer half the questions so it was a bit frustrating and again not a very good sales pitch.

Then add in that their sales brochure didn’t mention the western pact in reference to in state and out of state tuition they made it sound as if every other state than wy you pay out of state tuition and I don’t believe that’s correct from what I know of the western pact tuition program.
I don’t know what the rules are now but when I left Missouri for the University of West Alabama all I had to do was get an Alabama drivers license with my in state address on it. That and a utility bill was enough for me to get in state tuition rates.

Which codes (numbers) are you getting now? Did you test fuel pressure? The reason I ask is because I went through much of the same stuff with my 700xp. I replaced sensors, chased and tested wiring for weeks before I broke down and had someone test fuel pressure because it didn’t make any sense to me how the symptoms I had could be related to low fuel pressure. But, they were.
