I put about 25o rounds downrange.  Practicing fundamentals.  5 step draw, moving shooting (box drills) and a little off hand one hand shooting (need much more work there)

Loving the new range.  7 1/2 x 12 targets. Aim small shoot small.  Finished that box of ammo.  Guess that makes 19000 rounds down the G17.

Had nice campout over the weekend. The place is still new with no rules. Peoples dang dogs were running all over the place. That is going to have to change. One persons dogs in particular are the worst. I had a few beers in me as well as the dog owner. I don't know if it was experience or old age in me but I decided it would be better not to confront them at that time. I will see him again when we are both sober.

Wife's Aunt in Cincinnati passed away over the weekend. Looks like we are heading out tomorrow morning.

In beaver creek, co for a couple days the wife has a “work gathering” which doesn’t include much work. They are encouraged to bring along spouses so here I am. Forcing me to do office work I’ve been putting off I guess. Wife unit has us scheduled for horse back riding later this afternoon. After 42 years and still not on a bucket list we’ll see how this goes....

I've been wanting to try one for awhile but didn't know there was a place that had them about an hour away. Went there, spent an hour in complete darkness without any sound, or reference for time, and floating so you didn't touch the bottom or sides of the tank. Let the brain snooze for awhile, felt good once I passed about the first 10 minutes where I couldn't shut the brain down.

No video sorry, we do have pics if you’re fb friendly....

Below is my version of how it went, horse knew the drill and was a bit stubborn but knew he got fed if he did his job.....

Well, my horse kicked Tonya (love tap). Tonya claims my horse got pissed when hers tried to cut in line. It is my personal belief my horse was reading my thoughts and knew Tonya was trouble. My story and I’m sticking to it!

Spent yesterday, last night, until midday today in Children's hospital. Youngest Pre-Ranger had another MRSA staff infection. From injuries he picked up playing football. We got it this time.

And this is how God works and looks after us. Chris plays back, defense and now Offense. Has scored one TD every game so far, so they work him hard. His LB coach is also his doctor. Yep, Dr. Mike who lives two doors down spotted it Tuesday. Called us to say he was sending him home with a prescription for a powerful antibiotic, and to call if it got worse. The doctor we would take him to anyway is the guy watching him work out on the field. Coincidence?? I think not.

Next morning we sent the boy to school. about two hours later his arm swelled up and we whisked him off to Children's. They admitted him and slammed him on IV antibiotics. I got a comfortable evening (Not) on that recliner thing and by this morning the swelling was the same but the redness was all gone. Team of doctors said he was responding and he could go home so they cut us loose in time for lunch...Yippee. He plays tomorrow night.

Extended the stay in Cincinnati one more day. Funeral was yesterday but the burial is today. We were going to skip that and head out but they were short on pallbearer and more family coming in today.

That's ok this way I will get to watch the Huskers beat up on Colorado this afternoon.

I’d like to see them win for the simple fact that my parents like them. I on the other don’t care one bit about sports. Haven’t had cable tv for 7 years now so I would only ever watch if I was with someone who was watching.

Been a fun filled few days (NOT)! Came out of work on Thursday to a coolant wet spot under the drivers side front of my Duramax. Topped off the coolant started the drive home (64 miles) stopped and picked up a new water pump and made it home. Changed clothes went out and pulled the cooling stack and all the plastic stuff tried the fan clutch but would not move all in 96 deg weather, 1 soaked T shirt it was time to call it a night. Day 2 went out tapped the fan and it came off! Got it apart and going back together to the point of finding out the water pump didn't come with the  rings for the cross over tube (What kind of company doesn't put all the seals you need in with the part you are buying!), Had to stop because the wife's new appliances got delivered the fridge she got was too large for the opening! I had to un-install a cabnet and move it over so it would fit, in all 3 T shirt day which was followed up by watching the oldest grandson play high school football. He broke up 3 passes, blocked and extra point and had or was in on 3 sacks. Yeasterday was finished up by installing everything, ops and leak check good! The wife tried to help by mowing while I was finishing up the truck, her first time on the zero turn. She about ran over me, Leasson #1 never stand in front of a mower trying to tell someone how to use the mower. Good things I am some what still quick on my feet. She also hit the neighbor's fence so I will need to fix that.

Other leasson learned: 2# Have waterpumps go out when it isn't 90 + degrees outside. 3# on unique parts (cross over tube O rings) just go to the dealer and be done with it in place of running around trying to find something that will work. #4 when the repair shop wants $800 to replace the water pump they may not just trying to take you for dollars it could be that the job is a PIA. #5 When changing waterpumps in 90+ degree weather buy more T shirts!

That is all

Yea, I do. Branding and all that, and a friend and I were designing T's earlier in the springtime along with the branding logo which is the nautical compass.

As for a printer, dunno, was looking at a commercial company where I could repeat production based on lots of 50-100.
