Sad day for RMTWS, but understood. Directions change.

I have looked at those HF tools also, price of the batteries is enough to look!

I built my own engine stand years ago. Used 3 in square and just welded a tube on the top. About to mode that using a wheel hub. That should hold anything and spin easy. Just have to figure a crank system to turn it.

So that is only needed on the warns, not the hardcore?

JR, I just did a set of Yukon hardcores on 35 spline kingpin 60, zero issues.

I don't remember who I got it from, was like 10 years ago. A sharing session would be great.

I pulled the onstar fuse when I had it but have done it many times since. Just started having issues with all the new upgrades and the CTZ-COZ tunes.

Weighed the dmax today, 8400lbs with my normal stuff, 4400lb on the front axle.

Bought a new DSP5 and trans tune before I saw Don post. Still can't get anything to load and EFI just says read the instructions. Trucks running OK but think it could be better.

Does anyone know this stuff? Done all the updates, seems to load and I see it in the V2, but just says "script error 0502" when I try to load.

He just emailed me saying he has already pulled one pan and confirmed that it is in fact a 500 and is checking another. Prior I had to offer to verify all six of them for him.... scheduled to drop down there weds and hopefully buy one or two....

Cool options. Used just my phone this last weekend and it was OK, but I like a bigger screen when driving.

Some of us don't have the in dash, but I do have 10in Samsung andriod based that would be nice to use. Doubt it has built in GPS though.

I used to use "MS Streets n Maps" on a laptop before our smart phones took over.

Used a simple USB antenna and worked awesome. Showed much more than just a driving GPS.

I read in some forums many still like them as you have a larger screen and a full laptop that is easy to see.

I made a simple post that bolted to the front seat bolt on the pass side and hung over the center.

Looks good and I like the brake upgrade. Is it just pads and rotors or some cool hard parts?

Since the suspension is going to be done, might want to lube those bolts up now to soak.

I bet the fans are made to come on with the ac pump, who makes this kit? Upgrade the rad for sure.

Took me 8 hrs for a 2 hour drive last night. Hwy 80 was closed over the summit but 50 was open. First 20 miles took over an hour. White out conditions to Carson City and 50 over to Tahoe. I stopped many times to let the bad flurries go by. Can't tell you how many cars were in the middle of the road trying to turn through a 2ft bank.

NO one cared about lanes or even moving over if you came up. Road only open to 4x4 and off road tires, not M/S, but many did not care and went on through, well tried. I pulled several times to clean the windshield. So I get over Carson pass (7k) and I fall in behind a few trucks and snow plows. Wwe get to Strawberry (drops around 1000 ft there) and the road is blocked be several idiots in 2 wheel drive cars and chains (prius/cube included) and we sit for 2 hours as they try to get it sorted out. Can't get by at all, with verticals on both sides.

Now what I will say is the Dmax and the 35in Maxxas Rzors worked great, from the deep mud of land looking to the snow. Before I came home I actually stopped and blew all the mud off it was so bad. I could pull off on the shoulder or into a closed gas station to clean the windows off (yes I had zero degree fluid). Got 14mpg on the way home doing 30-40 most of the time in 4x4 with just the last 75 miles of freeway.

The trip was for looking at land and I went to the Washoe building dept asking about regs. Pretty tight codes but I saw totally diff in the areas I looked, 30 minutes or so north of sparks (Palomino Valley) Saw a couple nice plots, but still to many people around with 40+ acres for a buffer. At least I got a taste of what the worst weather looks like

Just sitting for 10-20 years just ad a little trans fluid to the cylinder and check in a few days. Beat the piston out and that hard ring may gouge the wall pretty bad.

I would think 20 or for just looking is fine, just wait until it warms up for working!

Very nice work (cudo's on painting the shaft)

Doesn't the outer shaft have to walk a little?

Did you have to bore the spindle for the 35 spline axles? I have a ford and chevy to do, but I may change the ford outers to chevy.

So a month or so ago I saw a pic of the new chevy and thought it looked a little like the Toyota Tundra.

Well, I saw one in person today, a 1500. I really thought it was a Tundra until I saw chevy across the back. I mean mirror image hense the grill a little.

Then the price tag, 56k msrp

No wonder GM is laying off thousands.

Maybe I am missing it, but I just see a dual caliper. You say the line is T'd to each piston? Don't see that as an issue, does it have the standard emergency brake?

A 7 inch lift? Now you need 37s! I sure liked my Contito NTBD lift, just sold it.

Another fluid change, and paint it green
