I ran across this site a while back. They have all kinds of interesting things. I wondered if some of them might damage the gun. Might want to use an old one.

The schiff a 12 ga will take is crazy.
Run out of slugs, cut the hulls.
Want something else turn it in a lathe and put it in a shell.
I think as long as it will leave the barrel the gun will survive.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Eh I've seen them used in daylight on different targets, not impressed.
