Gene Autry’s Cowboy Code
1. Never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage.
2. Never go back on your word, or a trust confided in you.
3. Always tell the truth.
4. Be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals.
5. Must not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas.
6. Help people in distress.
7. Be a good worker.
8. Keep yourself clean in thought, speech, action, and personal habits.
9. Respect women, parents, and his nation's laws.
10. The Cowboy is a patriot.

I'm going to have to work on #8, especially the types of words coming from my mouth.

Man, I'm impressed!
Still stuck on number 1
-
Yeah I’m dubious of #1. Not sure how to survive to get to #2 if I’m shooting second.

Haha. You guys are reading too much into it. Don't start the fight!

Well, I was thinking, "Well, I'm 6'3" so almost everyone is smaller than me...and all those hajis. They were mostly a bunch smaller. If you turned your back on them without sending some bullets their way, they'd certainly try and shoot me..."
I don't think Gene had to deal with Vietnamese, hajis and the like...

Well, why not?
If the man has a history of punching
and you know it's gonna be a fight
Why not punch him first?
Naw, I didn't mean that
I mean't:
Why not hit him with a baseball bat while he's not looking...
Ya, that works better ;-)
