Kentucky votes in a Tea Party GOV!
« on: November 04, 2015, 02:48:18 AM »
Congrads Don, you guys done good.

Republican Matt Bevin, a businessman and Tea Party favorite, beat Democrat Jack Conway on Tuesday to win the race for Kentucky governor -- becoming only the second GOP governor in the state in four decades.

Nice!  There is hope.  Conservatives just need to get as motivated as liberals. There are still more conservatives, they just wont get out and vote and encourage others to vote.

In Houston we shot down the HERO ordinance which would have allowed transgender/transvestite men in women's bathrooms and allowed the city to fine and prosecute any business owner who questioned their gender and refused them admittance to a women's bathroom.

Now the liberals are howling about "this is not over" and "that people's rights should not be up for a vote".  You hear that?  People should not be allowed to vote on something that important?  That's the liberal mentality.  Can't get it in the ballot, they want to dictate from the court.

Fortunately 2 times we had to take the mayor to the Texas Supreme Court to force her to take it to a popular vote.
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Yea, I took my boys over and we checked the Matt Bevin box. In fact voted a straight republican ticket and almost all of them won.

There is a quiet revolution taking place. It is coming out of the churches to vote the socialist God haters out of office. I heard of activists all over telling folks in their congregations to vote for Bevin. BTW, where we actually have two Tea Parties! One is of extreme republicans and wackos. The other is the Christian Tea Party of which I mingle. The later is where Matt came from, and from Northern KY as well. That is where I am located and a lot of the players and story generators for this site...

Great news.  A step in the right direction.  Heres prayerful hope that he can get some help from the legislature and get something done.

He's going to be a one term governor

The litany of prior Democrat governors have build up a huge unfunded retirement pay deficit. Matt will have to deal with that. When he cuts funding for the annual gay-love festivals, the freaks will be offended. Then when he takes monies away from the abortion clinics and stops funding inmate recreation, well the haters will hate even more.

I forecast a rocky road for him. But one where we good people of the Kentucky will stand beside him. We are coming out of the woodwork. Standing up for God, standing up for freedom, and decency and common sense.
He has a program along with the Ag secretary to fight the abusive EPA. Wants to go after them. They have done major damage to our people and industry. Gonna be a good fight!

If only the freaks are scared, who cares.

If he talks to the people as he does it, most will understand. Let him show pictures of what is being funded.

Great job in Tx too, put her in her place.

I think the key to being successful in a fight like that is to take the argument to the people directly instead of "assuming" the news media will report it correctly. Show what the growth of those unfunded liabilities look like in simple terms and why he is cutting where he is to bring it under control. Use examples that people will understand....like credit cards....people understand that paying the minimum means the balance explodes....that is what most Democratic state governments have done (in essence). And as long as he plays straight with people they will give him more chances. Its when people feel like a politician said one thing and then did another is when they get pi**ed and vote them out. As heinous as the libs in Washington are they are at least consistent....they promise people free stuff and they follow through on it. Much to our increasing risk....

But good for KY for making it happen!
