Dave, yes, I'd space it up. Neither of my bagged 2500's look like that

Love seeing the flag run onto the field.

We stand to the playing of the national anthem in the tuck. I salute. Turns out the congress authorized retirees the option of saluting although not in uniform or holding one's hand over their heart.

We also have a prayer, as in everyone, players and guests/fans before each game.

I thought we were done with silage but the neighbors called and needed another truck. So here we are making cow chow again.

So I killed a skunk today.   I’m a live and let live kinda guy with the exception of pigs and venomous snakes. I don’t like the idea of a skunk hanging around especially since they carry rabies from time to time.

What say ye? Should I have let it live?

Night shoot with flashlight and subsonic/suppressed .22.

Heck, I had one in my driveway. By the time I got back out with a gun it was I the neighbours back yard. Figured I shouldn’t shoot it there...

After dealing with dogs that have been skunked and the smell permeating the house, I’d finish it off, as long as it’s clear of the house.

I got x rays today
Took a massive block of wood from the plainer to my thumbs.

Block kicked back into my hands and thumbs got smashed.

No major damage but thumb nails ripped off and jammed all the joints up pretty good

Have a friend that owns a cabinet shop that was running a dado thru the table saw earlier this month and nearly took off the tips of some fingers. Luckily for him he has a Sawstop saw and it just barely nicked him before it stopped the blade.

As the owner helped me clean up the blood we laughed At me making it two years with no injury. I’m gone for five months and five min in I wreck my hands

The dado blades can get rowdy really fast I never liked using them

Pre-Ranger got a concussion!

Took a hard shot in the game the other night and literally knocked him loopy. He has had headaches ever since and hard to focus in close. Hos doctor is also his LB coach. We made it official today. Looks like he has to go through at least a one week rehab program before playing again.

Tough call for all of us who are concerned/invested individuals.

My wife says no to any contact sport for the boys. I never want anyone to get hurt, but life is what it is.

If anything has come out of the NFL is the long term concussion awareness and the changes they have made in all levels of football to try and mitigate those issues.

In the past especially if the athlete was a star they would just put them back in with a concussion and play on. Now at least as frustrating as it is they have a chance to heal up before going back out. That is if you trust the science and on this particular I do due to autopsies done on many older NFL players that donated their brains for research,

I hope he heals up fast and proceeds to kick @$%.

The quality of helmet for a motor cycle is much different then a football helmet and no one is trying to hit you off your motorcycle.  An accident on a motorcycle is completely their control no one else’s usually

Yea, we are paying attention to this. I am having him track the headaches. He writes down when, how long, pain intensity. Tw yesterday, and one during practice, which oddly is nothing more than studying plays and watching them on the field for now.

Coach told me he feels the pre-ranger can be an elite player. He is the second coach in a row who has told me this kid is really good. He says he has the kid for two more years and since he played the varsity season as a 9th grader last year, he is looking forward to the rest of this season and the next two.

His helmet checks out. Air pressure is just right. Fit is perfect. Bought a new chin strap, but left the scrape marks as a badge of honor!

He will be just fine and we Harwards thank you awesome menses!

All safety equip is WAY better than it used to be.

Look at football and the equip and injury protocols now. Pull em if you think they hurt, not just when they want out, air helmets, neck bracing, etc.

Same for MC riding. I never wore the right boots, chest plates and all that, now its common. Sure wish I could show you my twisted wrist from a accident.

I want no one to get hurt, but life is life. You can live it behind a keyboard, on the couch or wherever. But with everything there is a risk.

Truck pulled like a train, no heat issues, the camper I rented is sure nice for the investment

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
