Just one more thing on ObamaCare Repeal.
Since only 11 million people have ObamaCare, how will 24 million people die if it is repealed? Will 13 million people be randomly shot?

Just one more thing on Donald Trump.
If Donald Trump deleted all of his emails, wiped his server with Bleachbit and destroyed all of his phones with a hammer, would the Mainstream Media suddenly lose all interest in the story and declare him innocent?

Just one more thing on equal pay.

If women do the same job for less money, why do companies hire men to do the same job for more money?

Just one more thing on Sanctuary Cities.
If you rob a bank in a Sanctuary City, is it illegal or is it just an Undocumented Withdraw?

·         Just one more thing on ISIS.

Each ISIS attack now is a reaction to Trump policies, but all ISIS attacks during Obama's term were due to Climate Change and a plea for jobs.

Just one more thing on the London 'Lone Wolf' terror attack.
After the London 'Lone Wolf' terrorist attack government officials have arrested at least eight other 'Lone Wolves' who had conspired with the original 'Lone Wolf' in planning the 'Lone Wolf' attack.  Even though all involved are Muslims, you can be assured, the 'Lone Wolf' attack has nothing at all to do with Islam, just like the other 1000 plus 'Lone Wolf' attacks by Muslims, are completely unassociated with Islam.

·         Just one more thing on Entitlements.

We should stop calling them all 'Entitlements'.

Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, ad nauseum are not entitlements. They are taxpayer-funded handouts, and shouldn't be called entitlements at all.

Social Security and Veterans Benefits are Entitlements because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients.

Just one more thing on the Muslim Refugees.
If Muslims want to run away from a Muslim country, does that mean they're Islamophobic?

Just one more thing on The Women's March.
If Liberals don't believe in biological gender then why did they march for women's rights?

Just one more thing on the Russians hacking the election.
How did the Russians get Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC to steal the Primary from Bernie Sanders? How did Russia get Donna Brazile to leak debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates?

Just one more thing on Democrats and the Electoral College.
Why is it that Democrats think Super delegates are fine, but they have a problem with the Electoral College?

Just one more thing on the FBI and elections.
If you don't want the FBI involved in elections, don't nominate someone who's being investigated by the FBI.

·         Just one more thing on Hillary's speeches.

If Hillary's speeches cost $250,000 an hour, how come no one shows up to her free ones?

Just one more thing on Russia manipulating our election.
The DNC is mad at Russia because they 'think' they are trying to manipulate our election by exposing that the DNC is manipulating our election?

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / GOP Tax Plan
« on: November 05, 2017, 09:30:16 PM »
https://www.axios.com/heres-whats-in-the-gop-tax-plan-2505430314.html?stream=top-stories&utm_source=alert&utm_medium=email&utm_term=alerts_all

Here's what's in the GOP tax plan
The House GOP tax plan keeps the 39.6% tax-rate for the wealthiest Americans ($1 million income for married couples), caps the mortgage interest deduction for newly purchased homes at $500,000 (down from $1 million), and will allow only $10,000 of property tax to be deducted, according to a summary released this morning.

Why it matters: Lawmakers are finally seeing the full details of the proposal this morning. Already some Republicans had expressed concerns and powerful lobbying groups like homebuilders had expressed opposition.

What comes next: Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady told reporters this morning he expects an analysis of the bill from the Joint Committee on Taxation later today, but it's been mapped at meeting the $1.5 trillion deficit addition cap.

Other details, with more to come when text is released:

Individual taxes:

Increases standard deduction from $6,350 to $12,000 for individuals and $12,700 to $24,000 for married couples.
Individual tax rate brackets, per the Wall Street Journal's Richard Rubin (subscription required):
25 percent rate starting at $90,000 for married couples, $45,000 for individuals (everyone below that pays a 12 percent rate).
35 percent rate starting at $260,000 for married couples, $200,000 for individuals.
39.6 percent rate starting at $1 million for married couples, $500,000 for individuals.
Expands the Child Tax Credit from $1,000 to $1,600 and provides a credit of $300 for each parent and non-child dependent.
Makes no changes to deductions for charitable contributions
Elimination of student loan and medical expense deductions and the adoption tax credit, per the WSJ.
Doesn't change contribution rules for 401(k)s
Continues to allow people to write off the cost of state and local property taxes up to $10,000.
Repeals the Alternative Minimum Tax.
Doubles the estate tax exemption immediately and repeals the tax in six years.
Business taxes:

Lowers corporate tax rate to 20% and lowers rate for pass-through entities (often small businesses that report taxes as individuals) to 25%
There are two approaches to pass-through guardrails. The simple approach allows businesses to classify 70 percent of income as wages and 30 percent as income. The second option allows business owners to have more income classified as business income, rather than wages.
Interest deductibility capped at 30 percent of interest, per the WSJ.
International taxes:

One-time tax on U.S. companies' repatriated foreign profits; 12 percent rate on cash and a 5 percent rate on illiquid investments, per the WSJ.
Eight year repatriation payout

I find the revelations from this democratic black woman chairperson of the DNC extremely revealing. It's much worse for the Dems than I thought. And Hillary continues to skate along free. Both her and possibly the ex-president should be serving time.

ROSS RANT

A lot of good things are happening in Asia now. The Japan election solidifies Abe, and he now has the votes to make more good things happen in Japan to build on the improved economy they are experiencing. Japan is now even more dependent on the US in light of N Korea, and that will afford the US leverage to work on improved trade terms.

Xi is now the absolute ruler of China and will remain so for many years. The recent party congress puts him in a position to do almost anything he wants. Xi understands that China is now a major player in the world and he cannot let Kim ruin the opportunities China now has to improve their economy and to work on solving the over leverage and aging demographics issues which are serious risks to the regime. He also fully understands that a war in N Korea will ruin everything, and bring about a potential confrontation with the US.  That is not what Xi needs when he now has a seemingly good working relationship with Trump, and a potential to work out trade terms on a reasonable basis. Working with the US is far more important than continuing to use N Korea to create problems. The Chinese now understand backing Kim is not in their long term interest, and he needs to be shut down. Eventually someone will assassinate Kim, and it may well be the Chinese who set it up. My view is China will put the screws to Kim and use sanctions and embargos to try to get him to give up nukes. It is unclear if that will work, but in the end Kim will either fold or be killed. Kim may do something very stupid and try to attack Japan, or Guam or a US carrier, but it is unlikely as China has said publicly if he does that they will not be there to help him. I believe in the end, Kim folds or dies, and the nukes go away. It will be very tense, but Kim is all alone now, and China seems to realize that the US, S Korea and Japan are too key to its future to side with Kim. If this does play out this way, Trump will have accomplished a major foreign policy victory. We will know how this ends sometime in 2018.

India is taking huge steps to get its economy and politics on a much better footing. They just bailed out the banking sector due to many bad loans, and that should strengthen the ability of banks to lend and help grow the economy. Many other steps are being taken to clean up a corrupt mess of an economy, but it will take years to accomplish. Labor laws and land issues are still a huge issue. The whole corrupt business culture has to be changed for there to be real progress. India also is playing the US off against China and is now receiving major military assistance from the US. This is of tremendous help to the US to offset issues with Pakistan and China. This is also much to the US benefit as it shows XI, we can play the game in SE Asia also. India is the potential balance to China in Asia and the military bulwark against Pakistan. The tight relationship of the US and India lets us exert much greater pressure on Pakistan to go after terrorists. This will take time, but the fact that the US is now back in force in Afghanistan, and will assure they do not lose to the Taliban, combined with our close ties to India, leaves Pakistan in a tough position and with China now cooperating with the US, Pakistan has nowhere to turn.

All of this is very good for the world economy. It also means that Asia will be a much more key player in the world economy. China has severe financial and economic problems and needs to have peace and cooperation if Xi is to succeed and avoid an uprising of the younger generation. If Kim is eliminated and peace prevails, then the US will have real influence in Asia and everyone will benefit. China will continue to challenge the US militarily and economically, but not in a way, nor to the extent it could lead to a military confrontation. If things work out as I think they will, Asia will be a major growth opportunity for US companies. We will know a lot more by next summer.

The Dems are getting desperate to try to kill the tax reform. They will fail. Research shows that 70% of lower taxes for corporations does flow to wages. Corporate taxes really do matter as to where companies locate and where they keep idles cash. Lower corporate taxes are a major good growth stimulator to the economy. It would seem there is no way they will touch the 401K rules unless they have a much better idea that allows retirement savings to increase, but why change what works so well.  Seems politically stupid to touch this but maybe they have a better idea. The average retiree has a net worth other than the house of just $80,000, and the 401k has become much more important to retirees as most private sector working people now have one. Schumer and Larry Summers have gotten hysterical and strident, and instead should work with the Republicans to put out a bipartisan bill. But they likely realize if a tax bill is passed and the middle class does see more money in their pockets, then the Dems get crushed in 2018. Republicans need to make a big point that the top 10% now pay 71% of all taxes and will pay an even greater share with the tax bill. Several Dems are in a rock or hard place on this bill. It will be interesting to see how the senators up for reelection play it since they will be voting against tax cuts for average voters if they are not voting with the Republicans on this.

All of this leaves Europe still the place where the economy is improving, but is still far from good. That is why the ECB today voted to leave rates the same and to only reduce QE, not eliminate it.  With the US now possibly doing 3% growth, and Asia getting its political and economic act together, Europe is the laggard by comparison. Even Africa is starting to grow with  more potential upside than Europe.  While Africa has major structural, political and cultural issues, it is beginning to improve and really grow. They are starting on the road to joining the world economy like other emerging markets have done in Asia, but they have a very long way to go. At some point in the next decade, Africa will be an opportunity for investment. For some long term players, they are there now, but the risks are very high.

The Catalan crisis is very real for Spain, and the eastern Europe countries: Poland Hungary, and Austria, are now controlled by the right wing. These leaders are working to have Brussels have less power. They are strongly anti- immigrant. Merkel is much weaker now after the election and Macron will struggle to get his polices fully approved. The EU is growing, but the substantial problems with banking and productivity remain.

The truth about what the Clintons and Wasserman and Podesta were doing, and how Holder and Obama were very possibly working in concert with them, will blow up now. The truth is going to come out. It is ugly.  Just wait to hear what the informant says now that he is free to testify-it will get really bad for Obama, Hilary, Bill, Holder, Comey and Wasserman.  It is beginning to smell like Watergate. The payoffs to the Clintons in the uranium deal, and the money laundering by the foundation, will all come out. Comey will be seen to be a very political animal and will lose credibility. There are serious questions as to why the FBI under both Mueller and Comey did not pursue many of these issues, and why the email scandal was essentially covered up by Comey and Lynch.  All of this will be in full gear into the election cycle for 2018, and if tax reform passes and something is done on Obamacare, and if the economy is growing at 3%, the Dems will be the big losers again. My theory is Obama and Hilary needed to try to delegitimize Trump. They came up with the dossier and hid it through Perkins Coie. They also were using the IRS and Lois Lerner to stop right wing groups, and they used huge corporate and bank fines to fund left wing groups. Debbie Wasserman colluded with Clinton to eliminate Bernie. It was all a plan to stop Trump and try to destroy his presidency, and maybe get him impeached in 2018. The obstruction by the Dems in not confirming appointments, and in refusing to cooperate on any legislation, was just a part of the overall effort. As the scandal unfolds, and as it becomes clear that Obama and Clinton conspired to destroy Trump and the Republicans, there is a good chance the Republicans can pick up the seats they need in 2018 in the Senate.  The entire game changed this week, and when the informant testifies it will blow open. I am sure my liberal friends will think this is a political piece and pro Trump, but it is just sitting back and objectively looking at all the events and strings, and how they now fit together. Lois Lerner shutting down tea party groups, the funds to left wing groups, opening the border to a flood of Latinos who could eventually vote Democratic where voter ID is not allowed, and who cld be used as a major issue to fuel protests, the uranium deal, the giant “fees” to Bill for speeches, the foundation being in Canada to avoid transparency, Wasserman conspiring with Hilary, the Pakistani computer assistants to Wasserman, the unmasking by Powers and Rice to nail Flynn, and the infamous dossier and Russia probe. They all tie together into a potential scandal of Watergate proportions. The press is trying to deny there is anything here, and trying to minimize the story, but it will crawl out from the rocks. I ask you just try to be objective and let this play out before you conclude that what I have said is just a partisan view. It is why I have kept saying for months, the Dems will regret ever starting the collusion story. Soon the mainstream media will be all over this as it becomes clear what a major story this is, and the Republicans will deep dive with investigations, and it will explode. We are about to witness a historic moment in American politics.

Dodging the Legal Bullets of this Postmodern World: the Right Way Back to Total War[1]

In this war, America’s ground combat forces have been in near-continuous contact with enemy forces since October 2001.  It is with sadness, anger and frustration that we have witnessed first-hand the following:

          - Our military and civilian leadership has failed to stand behind our warrior’s inherent, God-given right of self-defense; often investigating and prosecuting warriors based on ill conceived notions of the ethical, legal and tactical realities of deadly force encounters;

          - Senior leaders cannot articulate why and whom we are fighting, leaving their subordinates to guess and, hence, gamble with their lives; and,

          - Moral cowardice and incompetence amongst the collective Judge Advocate General’s Corps concerning training and prosecutorial components of their mission.

The Right of Self-defense in War and Peace

While our enemies have consistently violated the Law of Armed Conflict by inter alia not wearing uniforms, firing from protected places , using noncombatants as shields, bombing civilian markets, and committing other acts of perfidy; instead of prosecuting such grave breaches, military lawyers have reflexively gone after their own.  Too many Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines have wrongfully been placed in the dock – some still in Leavenworth – for simply making “the wrong” call in the clear vision of 20/20 hindsight.

As Lieutenant Colonel John Taylor, USA (Ret.) and one of the authors noted in A Raid Scenario: Second-guessing Those at the Tip of the Spear (http://www.huntingsaracens.org/2015/09/29/a-raid-scenario-second-guessing-those-at-the-tip-of-the-spear/):

“Certain government leaders are in a mild panic over the recent publication of Sean Naylor’s new book Relentless Strike: The Secret History of Joint Special Operations Command. Since it would be inappropriate to comment on the veracity of anything Naylor has written about that command, our focus is on one seemingly innocuous and completely unclassified portion of his book. The following paragraphs are within our particular skill sets – the laws and tactical realities surrounding deadly force encounters – and it bears commenting upon:

When “clearing” a building— i.e., moving through it and eliminating any threats— Rangers flowed through the structure like water, scanning each room in a synchronized choreography that was the result of hundreds of repetitions in training and combat. Only if they found any military-age men would the Rangers pause momentarily to leave a couple of soldiers to watch that room as the others continued through the building. It was not unusual for the Rangers to clear a compound in less than twenty seconds. The living room opened to a hallway that led to a corridor with several bedrooms. In the first, the squad leader and a young Ranger found a man and woman sleeping on mats. Using memorized Arabic, the squad leader, who was a battle-hardened staff sergeant, and the other soldier— a twenty-one-year-old specialist armed with a light machine gun called a squad automatic weapon— told the couple to put their hands up. Neither did. The two Rangers repeated the order, as their colleagues checked the corridor’s other rooms, finding two women and several children. But instead of putting his hands above his head as ordered, the man in the first room made as if to reach inside his robe. The squad leader’s finger tightened on the trigger of his M4. He had less than a second to make a life-or-death decision.

The squad leader made his decision. He pulled the trigger, shooting the man in the head. Realizing what his squad leader was going to do, the specialist did the same, firing a burst with his squad automatic weapon. Their reaction “was aggressive,” said another Ranger later, with studied understatement. If it turned out that the man was unarmed, there would be consequences. The squad leader reported the room “clear and secure” and left the specialist to guard the woman. Above them, the sniper team leader shot and killed the second gunman on the roof. But as soon as the squad leader had left the room, the woman dove toward the body of her husband. Again the specialist had to make a split-second decision. Again his instinct told him to pull the trigger. He fired a short burst and the woman’s head split apart. With the squad momentarily distracted by the firing, a figure darted from the last room left to be cleared and ran up the stairs clutching a pistol. He burst out of the cupola, only for the sniper team leader to put two bullets in his head. The gunman’s lifeless body toppled back through the cupola and fell to the ground floor, crashing into a Ranger, the impact tearing the latter’s night vision goggles from his face. Abu Khalaf was dead. The Rangers had been in the house for less than thirty seconds.

With the house finally cleared and all the adult males killed, the Rangers began the exploitation phase of the mission. An examination of the dead man in the first bedroom revealed a suicide vest. Had the two Rangers not fired when they did, they and perhaps several of their comrades would have died. Honed in nine combat deployments, the squad leader’s instinct had saved numerous lives, as had the specialist’s decision to open fire on the woman. She was the first woman that platoon had shot in about 200 missions. That there had been shooting at all was unusual. Only about 10 percent of the platoon’s missions involved gunfights.

While he is persona non grata at USSOCOM, Naylor has unwittingly hit upon a persistent misunderstanding concerning the use of force that exists among many members of the press, civilian leaders, civilian attorneys, military commanders, and military judge advocates, to wit: a Soldier or police officer who uses deadly force  must always be right or correct in his decision to use deadly force for that use of deadly force to be lawful.  This is absolutely false.  Unfortunately, far too many military personnel are sitting in Leavenworth due to ignorance about this issue.  Let’s quickly examine why we say this:

          1. So, what if the suspect was unarmed and there was no suicide vest, would the young Ranger’s actions have been any less lawful?  Absolutely not. Constitutional law in the United States does not require FBI agents and other law enforcement officers to be right; only reasonable.  That same deference must be given to a company of Rangers in Afghanistan, operating under use of force rules that are clearly not intended to be more restrictive than those governing a law enforcement officer operating in a Constitutional Fourth Amendment environment in the United States.

          2. Does the fact that the second suspect was a woman have any bearing on the lawfulness of the shoot?  Absolutely not.  A fourteen-year-old girl with an AK-47 can kill you just as dead as a 24-year-old committed Jihadist. Besides, isn’t the current Administration itching to get females into direct combat units?  They can’t have it both ways.

          3. Does the fact that 90% of the capture missions did not require the use of deadly force in any way impact the lawfulness of the two Rangers’ use of force?  Not in the least.  Police officers are assaulted at least 60,000 times a year – 15,500 times with a dangerous and deadly weapon – and they only kill approximately 600 suspects a year.  One cannot use metrics to assess the reasonableness of shooting in self-defense.  Each case must be judged according to its own merits.

So, the answer to all three questions, above, is an unequivocal “NO!” But, just as in domestic law enforcement shootings, too many commentators make a big deal about an irrelevancy: the now dead suspect was unarmed.   Clucking their figurative tongues, they write as if that single issue is entirely dispositive on the question of whether a shooting by police was lawful.   It may be one of many factors in the overall analysis or it may be entirely irrelevant to the ultimate lawfulness of the use of deadly force.  It certainly is not the single dispositive factor that many assert. And citizens need to be educated about this because it is critically important both for military personnel and cops today in this increasingly violent insurgency that Fifth Column Islamists have started in The West.

In as easy a picture as we can paint, people who follow directions of cops or military personnel who are pointing guns at them are rarely if ever shot. The sad and frequently repeated situation occurs when a suspect or detainee fails to do what they're repeatedly told to do by lawful authorities or an authority figure and then or they make a furtive gesture or engage in some other threatening conduct.  As a consequence of that refusal and accompanying conduct they get shot and sometimes killed. Then, the poor devils that shoot them, merely trying to survive and do their jobs, get prosecuted.  And this, in a nutshell, is the source of frustration among cops and Soldiers across America and amongst experts in the use of deadly force…"Why are some members of the public siding with those here and abroad who disobey lawful authority figures and place themselves at greater risk by their own freely chosen misbehavior and ill conduct?”

Why indeed!  The answer to this question is complex.  In addition to commanders’ and their lawyers’ complete malfeasance in understanding the realities of a gun fight, the antecedent causes are the failure of our leadership to succinctly state the strategic purpose of our mission and, concomitantly, the failure of the services’ JAGs to understand their subject matter and mission.

Why Do We Fight ?

Any strategic leader facing that question in World War II would have simply stated, “To defeat Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan on the fields of battle in order to secure America and the World from tyranny!”  Every warrior, from a young Private in the 29th Infantry Division on Omaha Beach to the Commander, Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces Europe (General Dwight D. Eisenhower), gets that reason.  While, individually, they may be fighting to save their platoon mates; morally, they understood their strategic purpose.  After about April 2002 – when American forces accomplished their mission in Afghanistan of destroying al Qaeda’s infrastructure and displacing the Taliban from power – things became muddled at best.  Four-star after four-star, whether guest lecturing at one of the Senior Service Schools or briefing Congress, could never succinctly state why we were fighting.  If they were delusional enough to believe that we could force 32 distinct and separate tribal entities to become a Jeffersonian Democracy at the point of a gun, then they were delusional enough to allow the prosecution and persecution of fellow Americans like Lieutenant Clint Lorance for ordering his platoon to engage suspected Muj or Special Forces Sergeant First Class Charles Martland for allegedly pushing a Muj policeman suspected of buggering a young boy.

If only we just drank three more cups of tea!  Yeah, right. This is insanity, plain and simple.  Perhaps it was driven by the greed of contractors after a Thursday informal breakfast with members of the Joint Resource Oversight Committee or by ignorant, lazy politicians who continue to view Islam through the rosy lens of Western Civilization.  Anyone who bothered to read David Pryce-Jones’ 1989 classic The Closed Circle: An Interpretation of the Arabs, had an understanding of the history of Islam’s long fight against The West.  Moreover, if they simply heeded the warnings of CIA Intel Analysts in the mid-Nineties they would understand that these people do not want to be Westernized … to them, it is anathema to their worldview.  The modern Jihadist is a throwback to the Dark Ages.  They possess an Apocalyptic, nihilistic worldview that cannot be understood by the normative Western values by which most Americans operate.

Why, then, did we keep sticking our face into the chainsaw, maiming, butchering and killing our Nation’s finest … then, prosecuting young warriors for what, at worst, were tactical errors in judgment?  This, from a leadership perspective, is the definition of cowardice.  Our senior leaders decided to use a hammer – the military – to conduct precision surgery and were surprised when trauma resulted to the patient!  And, refusing to accept responsibility for such trauma, they go after the weakest victim of their perfidy: the warriors at the tip of the spear.  In the bluntest terms, this enemy needs to be hunted down, root and branch, and destroyed just as ruthlessly as we did the Nazis and Imperial Japanese forces in WWII.

JAG Misfeasance

From at least early 2001, when the doyen on ROE and International Law for DoD, W. Hay Parks, tried to instill some sanity into the discussion of Self-defense in the Rules of Engagement in his seminal article in Naval Institute Proceedings article, Deadly Force is Authorized, a small but influential cabal of Army Judge Advocates have tried to undermine Parks’ logic and reason.  We have personally witnessed Army Judge Advocates from the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, Virginia teach such inane concepts as: “Don’t Shoot Fleeing Hostile Actors”, “Only Use Minimum Force (in self defense)”, “Shoot Once and Assess” or the fantastically ridiculous Five S’s of “Shout” “Show” “Shove” “Shoot” (warning)” and “Shoot” (to stop the threat)!  Then, they helped construct fantastically confusing Escalation of Force (EOF) cards that were supposed to help a young Soldier discern between a hostile threat and an alleged innocent other.  But, more often than not, such directives were used to punish those who allegedly failed to follow them.  Such nonsensical legal guidance has no reference point in the Law of Armed Conflict.  Instead, it attempts to supplant International Law with overly restrictive guidance meant to do one thing: provide top cover for senior leaders.

Commanders, guided by their ever-present counsel, never once consider the following realities:

          1. Junior high school ballplayers practice an average of 400 hours a year at their sport and they still suck!  Soldiers, akin to their civilian police counterparts, practice with their weapons approximately 4 hours a year (and most of that is silly qualification courses rather than realistic situational training exercises) and we are demanding NFL-levels of performance?  And, even an NFL linebacker will misread a draw play on occasion.  This, because that linebacker defaults to his recognition-primed decision-making based on practice.  And, no matter how hard people train, the sad fact remains that they will make errors in judgment approximately 13% of the time (seeing a weapon when none is present 9% of the time and not seeing one when one is present 4% of the time).

          2. One can’t change a tactical outcome – other than to get more Americans killed – by writing overly restrictive rules.  Warriors at the tip of the spear understand this, so they either ignore silly rules and hopefully survive both the encounter and the ensuing investigation or follow them and get senselessly killed.   “Don’t Shoot Fleeing Hostile Actors”[2] ignores basic military doctrines of pursuit and domination of the battlespace.

          3. Most judge advocates - although well meaning - are simply ignorant in the art of war, yet too may commanders abdicate their responsibility and authority to lawyers to write and train ROE.  A few examples from the past 14 years will suffice:

          a. Most who have seen American Sniper are familiar with the final scenes in Baghdad where Soldiers are attempting to build a 30-foot concrete wall between Sadr City and the Green Zone.  The movie focuses on the SEAL counter-sniper mission, which did occur.  What was not captured in the movie was the decision by the 4th ID Brigade Commander, whose Soldiers continued to be killed and wounded by sniper fire, to call in an Apache CAS mission that dropped a few vacant buildings on the Muj snipers.  This was a perfectly reasonable and lawful application of force. However, two weeks after the fact, an Army JAG assigned to the Aviation Battalion was reviewing the flight’s videotapes from the encounter.  This legal genius, in the cool comfort of her trailer behind the wire, opined that the Hellfire strike was “excessive force.”  This ill-founded opinion precipitated a six-week AR 15-6 investigation against the battalion commander conducted by a brigadier general.  Then, to add insult to this injury, after the brigadier found the allegation to be unsubstantiated, the Division Commander (ostensibly to cover his ass) still issued a memorandum of reprimand!

          b. Every commander ought to know that every weapon or munition issued has undergone an exhaustive legal review at DoD level (most often by the expertise of W. Hays Parks, the aforementioned author of Deadly Force is Authorized). Despite this fact, military snipers and precision riflemen in one theater were temporarily prevented from firing M118LR jacket hollow-point boat tail (like the Sierra MatchKing) ammunition from their weapons because one JAG opined that “the use of hollow point ammunition violates International Law.”  We can’t make up this stuff!  Had that JAG simply understood that DoD had already opined on this matter: end of story. Moreover, had that JAG understood that the open cannelure at the bullet’s tip was not there to cause grievous and inoperable injury, but rather to simply stabilize it in flight, again: end of story.  Instead, as most military lawyers with “inch thick mile wide” expertise do, this JAG endangered our forces’ lives by inserting her nose into matters of which she knew nothing.  This ill effect is often enhanced when the JAG offering such nonsense has a Ranger Tab.  Too many commanders – and JAG superiors – give too much deference to JAGs with short tabs.  As one of our Special Forces friends likes to say, “If you send an asshole through Ranger School, all you will get is an asshole with a Ranger Tab.”  ‘Nuff said.

          3.  A SOF element had developed a TTP of simulating an IED attack by filling a HUMVEE with what looked to be grievously wounded soldiers and placing it smoking within a cleared kill zone.  Knowing that Muj ground forces would oft flock to the scene or would conduct “drive-bys” at the site,  the SOF team set up snipers on the fake IED site. You guessed it, this successful TTP was shut down when another JAG opined, “the enemy are merely practicing their right of civil disobedience”.  Sadly, this incompetent lawyer insinuated himself into a tactical matter of which he was incompetent to assess: not recognizing a military-aged male in civilian clothes running toward an IED site firing an AK-47 or an RPG as a Hostile Actor who needs to be engaged is sheer malfeasance.  Yet, time after time, commands have allowed such silliness to have a voice at the table.  That voice then becomes a self-licking ice-cream cone that breeds hesitancy and overcautiousness throughout the command.

          4. During the Battle of Fallujah I, the Army Commander owning the battle space was convinced by his JAG to write ROE that said that forces in Fallujah could not shoot military-aged males unless they were pointing or firing their weapons at friendly forces!  Such insanity is the result both of woeful and willful ignorance of the dynamics of deadly force encounters.  At the ground level, it is probably woeful.  At TJAGLCS in Charlottesville, it is willful ignorance.  For well over a decade, the authors (and others) have attempted to introduce the Judgment-based Engagement Training (JET) Program to the schoolhouse, which would better educate young JAGs to the realities of a gunfight.  We consistently have been stiff-armed and even vilified by many in the throne of power.  These Tartuffe’s have aligned themselves with their EU brethren, introducing and reinforcing the ridiculous notion that force must be “minimal” and that “Soldiers sometimes have to get shot first” in order to win the COIN fight.  This is balderdash, un-American and Unconstitutional.  If these nabobs are afraid of an intellectual knife fight on this matter, what good are they in a real one?

So, unless and until the seats of JAG power acknowledge their ignorance - and possible incompetence - in these matters, commanders and other leaders must do all they can to protect themselves and those in their charge from ill-founded investigations and potential criminal charges.  To this end, we offer the following advice on how to behave if involved in a use of force situation:

Surviving a Use of Force Investigation

1. It is okay and expected to give a quick SitRep of what has occurred.  This is important to give friendly forces situational awareness of enemy whereabouts and TTPs.  It is not okay to give a sworn statement to an AR 15-6 Investigating Officer or, worse, a CID Agent without first consulting a competent attorney.  And, please do not fall for that ridiculously stupid, “If you don’t have anything to hide, why do you need a lawyer?,” line of thinking.  In these cases CID is not your friend and most agents are inexperienced young noncommissioned officers looking to make a case or “title” someone.  Remember, even a trout would not get caught if it kept its  mouth shut!

          2. As a commander or leader, do not let anyone try to question your people or yourself until at least 24 hours post-incident.  Contrary to popular belief, the most accurate statement may not be the one taken immediately following this type of incident.  “The prevailing practice in law enforcement is to delay the official interview of the officer for some specified period of time after the event. This is strongly encouraged to provide a reflective interval for the officer to allow the distorting effects of flight or fight to dissipate, and for the trained and professional mind to reassert itself and recall events and sequences more accurately.”[3]  While this is a matter subject to continuing research, the consensus amongst experts is that officers “experience perceptual and memory distortions during a critical incident, such as an Officer Involved Shooting.”[4]  In order to obtain the most accurate recollection of such events, agencies usually allow the officer involved two to three sleep cycles before they undergo formal questioning and make a detailed statement.  The consensus is that this produces the best recollection of what are incredibly traumatic events.

The FBI  – as well as most Federal agencies that mimic the FBI Shooting Incident Review Team (SIRT) policy including CID – typically do not allow their special agents who are involved in a line-of-duty shooting to be questioned until at least twenty-four (24) hours post-incident.  Moreover, their special agents are not to be questioned until they have been afforded the opportunity to speak with counsel, psychologist and chaplain (if they choose).  Again, this is not obstructing justice, but rather intended to glean the most accurate account of what transpired. “Research indicates that “traumatic situations” inevitably result in some degree of memory impairment. The research suggests that officers may make more thorough and accurate statements if the interview is delayed at least 24 hours, and they get some sleep in the interim.  Sleep helps integrate memories and facilitate both learning and memory integration.”[5]

So, what is good enough for CID, OSI and NCIS Special Agents is good enough for Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines.  Do not be bullied by some badge-waving youngster into forcing yourself or one of your warriors into making a statement.  (In full disclosure: a CID Agent once threatened one of the authors with “obstruction of justice” for advising his commander not to make an immediate statement. Rightfully, the author and his commander did not budge.)

          3. The advice set forth in the above two paragraphs should be briefed to every single member of a command both prior to deployment and again in theater.  Moreover, unless there has been clear and convincing evidence that one of your own has gone off the reservation (like the 25th Infantry Division Soldier that snuck off the compound to murder 13 civilians in town), stand behind your men.  One of the best examples of this was what then-Lieutenant General James Mattis, USMC, who, in dismissing the charges preferred against one of his Marines involved in the Haditha case stated: “With the dismissal of these charges you may fairly conclude that you did your best to live up to the standards, followed by U.S. fighting men throughout our many wars, in the face of life or death decisions made by you in a matter of seconds in combat. And as you have always remained cloaked in the presumption of innocence, with this dismissal of charges, you remain in the eyes of the law – and in my eyes – innocent.”

Unfortunately, the likes of Jim Mattis within the force are scarce.  The current political environment hastened the departure of such warriors and enhanced the advancement of moral cowards that would gladly throw a subordinate under the bus rather than push back against their evil superiors.  We are in desperate straights when the military spends weeks celebrating alternate sexual preferences rather than teaching advanced weapons skills in an attempt to create self-sufficient steely-eyed killers.  Whether we can survive this war – and, like it or not, we are at war with a determined enemy – remains to be seen.  Regardless of who is our next civilian leader, our military will take years to rebuild.  Its leaders would be well served to reevaluate the role and scope of its JAG Corps in future conflicts.  Smart and competent attorneys can be a force multiplier for the command, but they must first be weeded from the areas they have grown unconstrained.

Fighting with a Total War Mindset

By whatever name it currently goes by – ISIS, al Qaeda or ISIL – the global, radical Jihadi movement is totally committed to destroying Judeo-Christian Western Civilization as we know and love it.  And, the sad fact remains that the United States could kill every last one of them in Syria and wherever they operate if we simply removed the unnecessary encumbering rules of engagement by which our forces currently operate.  Three (3) brigade combat teams, with supporting CAS enjoying Air Supremacy, could shortly eliminate ISIS as a fighting force in Syria… if the commanders were more concerned with killing bad guys than they were with winning the hearts and minds of the local populace and prosecuting their own for ROE violations! First of all, we will never win their hearts and minds unless we soundly defeat them.  Secondly, unlike Nazi forces in WWII, Jihadi forces have no interest in living peaceably with The West: they need to be soundly thrashed just as Jan Sobieski did at the Gates of Vienna in 1683 or Charles “The Hammer” Martel did at the Battle of Tours in 732.

Illogical and legally unsound arguments abound for reasons why we ought not target Jihadi supporters who are not clearly “Direct Participants in Hostilities” under International Law.  In other words, there are those that argue that a man can be a farmer during the day and a bomb-maker at night; so we can’t target him during the day because “he is not directly participating” in hostilities at the time!  W. Hays Parks makes short shrift of such silliness in his seminal article in the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics:

Once authorized to commence combat operations and following rules of engagement and the law of war, and thus subject to law of war prohibitions or restrictions previously noted, soldiers are not constrained by the law of war from applying the full range of lawful weapons against enemy combatants and civilians taking a direct part in hostilities.[6] (Emphasis added)

Accordingly, Jihadi extremists – wherever they reside or operate – cannot hide behind the criminal statutes and protections afforded a criminal in a civilian case.  It has mystified the authors why we allow non-US persons operating intelligence centers/combat outposts out of mosques in both foreign and domestic locales to be free from kinetic targeting.  They are clearly direct participants in a global war being waged by their kinsman.  Logic, reason and compassion are not only useless as tools against them, but they scorn such sentimentalities.

As witnessed by their decades of barbarism in the name of religion, this enemy is not playing by playground rules and neither should we.  To do so not only unnecessarily exposes our young men and women in uniform to extreme disadvantage and danger, but also ignores the fact that this enemy will only be stopped by overwhelming force of arms.  They do not seek economic parity or peaceable coexistence: they believe that we are living in end times.  At a minimum, they seek to expand the area of Dar al-Islam (House of Islam) to the parts of the world once under Islamic domination, to include Spain, all of the Maghreb and Levant.  Israel must be destroyed in the process.  The West has a very narrow window of time to put this destructive genie back into the bottle. Once ISIS (or any equivalent radical Islamist group) obtains nuclear weapons or components to make a dirty bomb, or saturates Western nations with enough immigrants, the fight is as good as lost.  Accordingly, we must defeat this foe by total warfare – short in duration, but violent of action – so that Europe and America (and others in the Free World) may live in constructive harmony.

Subject: FW: [Non-DoD Source] Fwd: Niger Ambush & Johnson

An unofficial back channel.

This just in from Special Activities Division (SAD) source in USG. Worth a read.

From my associates in the community, I have gotten the two stories currently floating around.  One is what appears to have happened, and the other is the Pentagon/USG Cover-Your-Ass (CYA) version.

The Pentagon CYA version continually changes, starts/stops, and is a massive blame game.  To them, it is obviously the A-Team’s fault and error on a ‘routine’ training and advisory mission in Niger.  The narrative is that the A-Team, combined with Nigerien forces were out on a routine training advisory mission when (allegedly got sloppy) and ambushed (lucky chance) by a pro-Al Queda (ALQ) force.

My SF associates tell another version, and one I tend to believe.  The American A-Team had two, possibly four non-SF personnel (SGT La David Johnson being one of them).  The non-SF support folks were support weenies (drivers, supply & mechanics).  So, you had an A-Team of approximately 12 – 16 personnel; only 12 being Special Forces.  The A-Team was leading and advising a Nigerien Army force of approximately 30 Nigerien soldiers.  Their mission was not a routine training and advisory, but a joint US-Nigerien mission to seek out High Value Targets (HVTs); I.e., Nigerien ALQ leaders or forces.  The mission was conducted near Tonga-Tonga, along the Mali-Nigerien border; a very hot and active AO.

The story goes that they had conducted their mission and were returning when they stopped at a local village to do a ‘meet & greet’ - being seen and obtaining local intelligence.  It is alleged that the village headman and others mysteriously (and suspiciously) detained the US/Nigerien force well after the time they wished to depart.  Could the headman and others be in cahoots with the local guerrillas/ALQ using the delay to allow time to prepare an ambush?  Nobody knows, but French/Nigerien force have allegedly arrested and taken the village headman and others away for interrogation.

Leaving this particular village and heading back to their base camp, the joint A-Team/Nigerien Army force was indeed ambushed by a heavily armed ALQ band numbering approximately 50 fighters.  The ALQ band had small arms, machineguns and RPGs, and possibly mortars.  For some reason, approximately half of the US/Nigerien force was allowed to pass through the ambush killzone before the ambush was sprung, trapping the rear half.  Immediately after the ambush was initiated, the first half swung around to engage the ambushers and save the rear half.  It is then alleged that except for those already dead or wounded, all of the Nigerien soldiers bugged out and left the Americans to fight ALQ all by themselves.  Two groups, roughly 6-8 Americans per group fighting for their lives alone against a superior ALQ force.

Airstrikes were requested as the Americans fought on.  Several French Mirage fighters responded, but refused to engage citing poor weather, rough terrain and an inability to differentiate friend from foe.  American SF requested ‘danger close’ support and attempted to talk the CAS in, but the French Mirages alleged continued to refuse to engage.  Meanwhile, a French Quick Reaction Force (QRF) was contacted and on their way to the fight.

The Americans fought until relieved by the arrival of the French QRF.  The ALQ force broke contact and melted away.  Meanwhile, the French QRF searched the immediate vicinity and conducted MEDEVAC operations.  Three American Special Forces soldiers were either dead or would later die from wounds, several others wounded and one American support soldier (Johnson) missing.

Johnson’s body was found near the ambush 48 hours later.  At present, nobody is sure if Johnson broke and ran like the Nigeriens, or was captured and then executed by the ALQ.  Either way, he wasn’t in the two small Special Forces perimeters when the French QRF arrived.

Such things happen.  People get separated, captured or bug-out in panic.  Johnson was a driver.  For whatever reason, his failure to remain with the other Special Forces soldiers cost him his life.

And that is what I have been told about the action in Niger.  Basically 12-16 American soldiers abandoned, split in half and fighting to join together against a superior and more heavily armed enemy.  And the majority survived.

OK, lets share what we have heard or know about this ruckus AntiFa is planning to unleash next month.

My understanding is that they are branded a terrorist organization (Is that right?)

That they are calling for a nation wide protest based on 12 points which are all grossly perverted non truths and outright lies

I have heard that there is liberal left money, Soros, Clinton's, others??? Pumped into the thing

The protests are to continue until Donald Trump is removed from office

That their hidden agenda is to push the right into an armed conflict (civil war??) so that big brother intervenes and:
      1.    Declares Martial law
      2.    Imposes strict gun control
      3.    Government moves to seize citizens' weapons

First of all, do I have that more or less correct?

and

What can you, the smart guys out there in interweb land add to the discussion?

The point of all this is to concentrate the information, see if it points to any intersections that may help forecast a time/place/event or other pertinent fact that might suggest a more specific prep protocol.

”There's a reason why in New York Harbor we have the Statue of Liberty,

not the Statue of Equality.”

>Charles Krauthammer

≈≈≈≈≈Max≈≈≈≈≈

An article from the New York Post:

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).

OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

Obama’s Military Legacy – PC, SJW’s, the LGBT Mafia and Comrade Lieutenant Rapone

American Spectator

Another lasting Obama corruption of a great American institution.

A recent West Point graduate and self-identifying Marxist, 2nd Lieutenant Spenser Rapone, didn’t just become a rebellious communist. He has a history of insubordination.  Read a superior officer’s quavering report and weep.

West Point did nothing. Lt. Rapone continues, as of this writing, as a commissioned officer. Who knows what happened to LTC Robert M. Heffington.

He might be found in a corner, shaking in fear of marauding social justice warriors.

Have you heard about this story anywhere besides conservative and military blogs? Did you see Senator Marco Rubio’s letter to West Point expressing alarm that a traitor is in their ranks and they’ve done nothing? Then there’s these pathetic defenses of the baby commie.

The problem is not Lt. Rapone. The problem is the decay and decadence infecting the culture has infected the military. It didn’t take long for President Obama’s pernicious influence to degrade the American military’s ability to defend itself from enemies both foreign and domestic. President Obama was so successful, that the military is incapable of adequately dealing with traitors in their midst.

How did the military get here? First, there was the purge. From Rense.com here are the list of Generals purged from the military during Obama’s reign up through 2013:

“ General John R. Allen-U.S. Marines Commander International Security Assistance Force [ISAF] (Nov 2012)  · Major General Ralph Baker (2 Star)-U.S. Army Commander of the Combined Joint Task Force Horn in Africa (April 2013)  · Major General Michael Carey (2 Star)-U.S. Air Force Commander of the 20th US Air Force in charge of 9,600 people and 450 Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (Oct 2013)  · Colonel James Christmas-U.S. Marines Commander 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit & Commander Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response Unit (July 2013)  · Major General Peter Fuller-U.S. Army Commander in Afghanistan (May 2011)  · Major General Charles M.M. Gurganus-U.S. Marine Corps Regional Commander of SW and I Marine Expeditionary Force in Afghanistan (Oct 2013)  · General Carter F. Ham-U.S. Army African Command (Oct 2013)  · Lieutenant General David H. Huntoon (3 Star), Jr.-U.S. Army 58th Superintendent of the US Military Academy at West Point, NY (2013)  · Command Sergeant Major Don B Jordan-U.S. Army 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command (suspended Oct 2013)  · General James Mattis-U.S. Marines Chief of CentCom (May 2013)  · Colonel Daren Margolin-U.S. Marine in charge of Quantico’s Security Battalion (Oct 2013)  · General Stanley McChrystal-U.S. Army Commander Afghanistan (June 2010)  · General David D. McKiernan-U.S. Army Commander Afghanistan (2009)  · General David Petraeus-Director of CIA from September 2011 to November

2012 & U.S. Army Commander International Security Assistance Force [ISAF] and Commander U.S. Forces Afghanistan [USFOR-A] (Nov 2012)  · Brigadier General Bryan Roberts-U.S. Army Commander 2nd Brigade (May

2013)

· Major General Gregg A. Sturdevant-U.S. Marine Corps Director of Strategic Planning and Policy for the U.S. Pacific Command & Commander of Aviation Wing at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan (Sept 2013)  · Colonel Eric Tilley-U.S. Army Commander of Garrison Japan (Nov 2013)  · Brigadier General Bryan Wampler-U.S. Army Commanding General of 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command [TSC] (suspended Oct 2013)

There are some recognizable names there. In their places, leaders willing to enact morale-busting policy and readiness-damaging regulations became President Obama’s go-to guys. Kurt Schlicter says:

“ Many of these people are courageous on the battlefield — they’ll happily charge a Taliban warrior wielding an AK-47. But they quake in their boots back home in the face of an enemy they don’t understand and that can destroy their careers — the Social Justice Warrior. That’s why you don’t see them saying what every damn one of them knows is true — that women, despite their heart and commitment, are a net liability in ground combat units, that trans troops are an expensive distraction and damaging to morale, and that the insane focus on “diversity” programs sucks up priceless training time and fuels, rather than quells, discord in the ranks.

But they don’t dare object. That’d be risky. And these are the senior leaders who we will allow to lead our sons and daughters in battle if Korea goes hot.

To destroy an institution, degrade their leadership. Those who succeed under the new leadership will display the same cowardly, amoral behavior. Like attracts like.

Next, destroy the standards. For years, President Obama has worked to reduce readiness. Smoking pot is fine —November, 2016. Being fat and female is fine–July, 2016, Marine Corps.

Then, put these weakened warriors near combat.  In 2012, President Obama allowed women to get closer to combat.

Finally, look away from egregious behavior. Ignore it. Excuse it. Allow guys like Lt. Rapone to skip around campus with Ché shirts while tweeting love notes to Marxism. Make it clear that no behavior is out of bounds. Condemn people who raise concerns. Allow guys like Nadal Hasan to flourish in the name of political correctness. Then, after he kills people, allow him to live and spout off about hunger strikes.

Erode. Erode. Erode.

The American military spends precious time and training resources teaching troops about tolerance and gender issues. Remember the indoctrination that happened in offices around the country a couple decades ago? Now imagine the same condescending, vapid training among our warriors. It was bad enough to suffer as middle management. Imagine knowing that your job is to kill enemies and being stuck listening to that garbage.

John McCain and Lindsey Graham talk about how President Obama degraded military readiness by cutting funding, letting equipment age, etc. The real degradation, though, happened with personnel. By gutting leadership, enforcing mush-headed regulations, and creating an environment hostile to maintaining discipline, the military, even venerable institutions like West Point, are left with guys like Spenser Rapone.

-------------------------------------------

LTC Huffington had a run in with Rapone, long before he graduated from the ‘Point.  It was documented back then and ignored.

All this political correctness and phobias about everything is flat out destroying the killing spirit of our military. There is nothing about accommodating transgenders (Mentally unstable people??) or homosexuals (People which the people in the Army I was a part of for 25 years could not stand, in fact they sickened us!) that has anything to do with rounds on target.

Our enemy who puts up with none of this nonsense is growing stronger. While we cope with peoples emotions, they are getting better at bayonet fighting. THey are dreaming of gutting US Marines while we have to look at a US installation support a gay pride day! What is prideful about the sick act of sodomy between men? Can anybody answer that for me? Is that right in anyone's book?
Well, of course it is not. It is evil, my bible says so, and what God says is always true. Simple enough! But the communists of america (COA) are so powerful and we real Americans are either scared to do anything, too busy, or have just given up and really just want the fight to get started.
But we can't go there. We have to stand our ground, we moral, we patriotic, we God fearing and God loving good people of America. Are the communists not good as well? Easy answer for me, NO, they are not good, worse, they are really bad and they are the enemy of freedom.
With what they have done to our fighting forces is appalling. Women in the Rangers? In Forced Recon? In the Seals? Are you kidding?
We better fix this and damned quick or when the civil war comes and in the midst of that some invader, a real fight will have to be fought or we'll lose it all!

I'd never need a full auto glock, I think the idea is foolish, childish and not necessary. But imagine if someone purchased this and it was an elaborate setup.
Not sure about the validity of that, but in these days and with this emerging and very powerful deep state government, I will also not assume this is not true

How America’s Airline Went to War

Pan Am ferried supplies and hauled uranium for the atomic bomb

How America’s Airline Went to War

Now only a distant memory, Pan American Airways once flew so high that even the moon seemed within its grasp. Its advanced technology, skilled workforce and global reach were the envy of its competitors.

ADVERTISING

It had such a wide reach around the world, Pan Am turned into a veritable wing of the American war effort during World War II. During the war, the company sent its pilots and planes into the fight.

Pan Am shuttled a president, supplies for Chinese troops and uranium for the atomic bomb.

But behind the popular persona of United States’ flag airline, there was a corporate executive ready to aid the nation’s defense.

For 75 years, the bright blue, silver and white aircraft of Pan Am personified America—like Coca-Cola and Cadillac.

Its aircraft and aircrews epitomized the glamour of international travel. The company’s headquarters inside a modernist Manhattan skyscraper was a symbol of 1960s American vigor.

Pan Am flew the first 707 and 747 commercial jetliners. Futurists speculated the company might one day dominate space travel. Pan Am even appeared in the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey as a fictional commercial spaceflight carrier.

The early days of commercial aviation are closer to Silicon Valley than Detroit or Hollywood. Bold and young entrepreneurs jumped into exciting new businesses during their infancy, building empires that shaped the 20th century.

Juan Trippe personified these founders. In 1927, he founded Pan Am with only a handful of pilots and planes. Business boomed in the late 1920s and early 1930s, despite the depression. The firm ferried passengers from Florida to Caribbean and Latin American destinations.

Pan Am needed bigger planes to handle growing demand. Because runways long enough to accommodate large aircraft remained few and far between, the airline commissioned large seaplanes from manufacturers Sikorsky and Consolidated Aircraft.

By the early 1930s, Trippe was ready to offer a route to Europe. But the United Kingdom frustrated his plans by denying Pan Am access to Newfoundland and Ireland—stopover destinations necessary because of the limited range of the era’s aircraft.

Pacific pivot

Blocked from Europe, Trippe pivoted to the Pacific. Despite China’s civil unrest and Japan’s military adventurism, the Asia-Pacific region contained vast potential markets.

The United States possessed remote Pacific islands—serving as stepping stones to The Philippines. These islands could also service a commercial air route.

But Trippe still needed bigger aircraft. Aircraft manufacturer Glenn Martin built three of them. The Martin M-130 rivaled all other airliners of its era, until the advent of Pan Am’s other famous flying boat, the Boeing 314.

Pan Am called all its planes “Clippers” after the famous American sailing ships, but the giant Martin and Boeing flying boats are the most closely associated with that name.

Pan Am built facilities at San Francisco, Pearl Harbor, Midway Atoll, Wake Island and Manila Bay—at vast expense. The U.S. government granted the company access as way to assert American commerce and counter Japanese expansionism.

On Nov. 22, 1935, the first transpacific commercial flight splashed across San Francisco Bay and ducked under the unfinished Bay Bridge on its way to Hawaii. Five days later—after stops at Midway and Wake—the Clipper touched down in Manila Bay, bearing a handful of passengers and a big load of U.S. mail.

The airliner set up the China National Aviation Corporation in partnership with the Kuomintang government. Passengers could fly from San Francisco to Beijing on planes owned or operated by Pan Am.

For six years, the Pan Am Clippers winged across the Pacific bearing businessmen, diplomats, officers and celebrities.

In 1939, the company flew giant, Boeing-made Clippers to Europe after the British agreed to permit the company to operate within its dominion. Following the Nazi invasion of Poland that year, Pan Am quietly undertook airfield construction and aircraft-ferrying operations under a secret War Department contract.

By December 1941, the firm’s air routes spanned half the globe, from the Philippines to Ireland and Argentina. Even with the war in Europe, the Clippers kept flying and ferrying important people across the oceans faster than any steamship.

Flying to war

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor openly brought Pan Am into the fight.

American airliners and their bases became hunted prey. During the assault on Hawaii, Japanese aircraft bombed the Pan Am base along with battleship row and Hickam Field. One Clipper flew around the world—from Wake to New York—to escape attack.

Pan Am covered its Clippers’ beautiful silver and blue livery with military camouflage. The company’s pilots, engineers and radio operators became serving members of the military.

Four remarkable training and transport efforts adorn Pan Am’s wartime experience. For one, America entered World War II with a shortage of men, machines and expertise. Pan American Airways had all three, and offered them to the government.

The airline possessed the world’s only transoceanic transport system, and the infrastructure to support it. Thousands of pilots and navigators trained in Pan Am’s state-of-the-art facilities in Miami, Florida. Some of Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle’s aircrews trained with Pan Am.

Japan’s lightning conquest of Southeast Asia closed off supply routes to Chinese forces—except for a dangerous air corridor over the Himalayas.

In April 1942, Allied air crews began flying “The Hump” between India and southern China. Many of the planes and pilots involved worked for Pan Am. Years of flying over warlord territory—and their evacuation of Hong Kong dignitaries—bolstered their experience.

For three years—until the war’s end—the Hump flights delivered thousands of tons of supplies to Chinese troops, who tied down Japanese military resources needed to fight in the Pacific.

On the other side of the world, Pan Am’s transoceanic expertise flew a president to Africa—and back.

On Jan. 11, 1943, Pres. Franklin Roosevelt boarded the Dixie Clipper with his advisers and flew by way of Trinidad to Belem, Brazil. Then he hopped across the Atlantic to Britain’s West African colony of Gambia. His other staff followed aboard Pan Am’s sister ship, the Atlantic Clipper.

From Gambia, Roosevelt and his team flew to Casablanca for a major summit with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Free France leader Charles de Gaulle. That’s where the Allies agreed on their final plan to defeat Germany and Japan.

In the midst of returning from the first overseas trip by a wartime president, Roosevelt celebrated his 61st birthday flying over the Atlantic. In a certain sense, the Dixie Clipper was the first Air Force One.

Pan Am also carried other important—and highly classified—cargo along its African route.

When World War II began, uranium came from only three places—Canada and what are now the Czech Republic and Gabon. The Nazi seizure of Czech uranium mines alarmed Albert Einstein, who noted it a famous letter to Roosevelt, urging him to pursue the atomic bomb.

Belgium was under Nazi rule, and its African colonies remained vulnerable. Gabon—then part of Belgian Congo—provided the richest uranium ore. Some of that ore already sat in America. But a huge, highly secret program needed all the uranium it could get … and quietly.

Pan Am Clippers carried tons of Gabonese uranium ore to the U.S. in deep secrecy, high above any U-boat threats to shipping. Once refined, the uranium made its way to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where it became bomb fuel.

About 75 percent of the uranium in the Little Boy bomb dropped on Hiroshima originated in Africa, shuttled in secret with Pan Am.

Today, Pan Am endures only as a symbol of the American century, and a victim of airline deregulation brought on by the government it once partnered with. The company faced rising competition from international carriers.

Passengers also stayed away after several crashes and the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Unable to establish a domestic network to compensate for the loss of its international flight dominance, Delta Airlines absorbed the carrier in 1991.

But as long as the 20th century remains a vivid era in American history, Trippe’s global enterprise will remain bright in memory. It’s well we remember its heroics—as well as its style.

The Last Days of Germany – The Islamic Takeover of Germany
by Ray Starmann

Gatestone
Because Germany had committed genocide, it was impregnated with self-hatred and a rejection of its own identity. Germany turned to European construction and tried to define itself as European, in order not to call itself German.

A gradual replacement of the non-Muslim population with a Muslim population is taking place. Forty percent of children under five and born in Germany today have foreign roots.

The demographer Michael Paulwitz wrote a year ago that unless the current trends are reversed, Germans will become a minority in their own country, possibly in fifteen to twenty years.

Germany's federal elections were supposed to lead to the triumph of Angela Merkel. Their resultswere rather different from what was anticipated. Merkel's "victory" looks like a disaster: the Christian Democratic Alliance (CDU-CSU) won 33% of the vote -- 9% less than four years ago, its worst result since 1949. The Social Democratic Party (SPD), which governed the country with Merkel during the last four years, lost more than 5%, and fell from 25.7 % to 20% of the vote -- the worst result in its history. Alternative for Germany (AfD), a conservative nationalist party born in 2013, obtained 12.6%, and will enter in the Bundestag for the first time. Die Linke, the Marxist left, received 9%. As neither the SPD nor Die Linke will participate in the next government, and as AfD is radically opposed to the policies pursued by Merkel, she has only two possible partners: the libertarian Free Democratic Party and The Greens: both of whose positions on most subjects seem incompatible.

Angela Merkel will remain Chancellor, but by default, and mostly because there was no other real choice: six months ago, two-thirds of the German population wanted her to be replaced. Only 8% wanted her to remain in her post. Martin Schultz, former President of the European Parliament, who was the SPD candidate, did not offer anything different and led a lackluster campaign.
If Merkel succeeds in forming a coalition, it will be a precarious and unstable assemblage that will keep Germany on the verge of paralysis and make the country the sick man of 21st century Europe.

Germany actually already is a sick country, and Angela Merkel is part of the sickness.

In 1945, Germany was in ruins. It rebuilt itself and gradually became Europe's leading economic power. While regaining strength, it did not assert itself politically and remained discreet, humble, repentant, silently shameful. Because of its role in the war, it was reluctant to recreate an army when NATO powers asked it to rebuild one; instead, it adopted a general position of appeasement that led to "Ostpolitik", a policy of rapprochement with the communist East and the Soviet Union.
Because nationalism had led to National Socialism, Germany rejected any form of nationalism. Because Germany had committed genocide, it was impregnated with self-hatred and a rejection of its own identity.

Germany turned to European construction and tried to define itself as European in order not to call itself German.
This process lasted until the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of the country. Reunification was widely perceived in Germany as the fruit of humility and discretion.

Angela Merkel, who had seemed to embody a successfully reunified Germany, inherited this process when she became Chancellor in 2005.

Malfunctions had already begun to surface. The German economy remained prosperous, but poverty was increasing (in 2005, 17% of Germans were officially poor and earned half of the national average income) and the number of working poor was growing.

The birth rate was extremely low. It had started to decline in 1967, and rapidly fell to 1.5 children per woman. The population, in general, was aging.

Germany began to bring in Turkish migrants to compensate for the lack of manpower. By 2000, the number of migrants had reached 3.5 million.

Importing Muslim migrants also brought a slow Islamization of the country. In the main cities, mosques were built. Koranic schools were opened. Islam was integrated into public school curricula.
Merkel constantly sought consensus and worked with the Social Democrats for eight of the twelve years she spent as the head of the government.

Germans seemed to accept this arrangement until she decided to open the borders of Germany to a huge wave of refugees and migrants from the Middle East in August 2015. More than 1.5 million unvetted people entered the country; most were young men entitled to family reunification.

Claims that refugees would assimilate without major problems started colliding with reality. Rapes multiplied. Violence escalated.

In 2016, almost half the crimes in Berlin were committed by recent migrants to the country Jihadist networks took shape. Terrorist acts started to take place. Muslim anti-Semitism led to attacks on synagogues. The costs of welfare rose sharply.
Merkel expressed no regret. She did not even have second thoughts after the elections: she saidthat if she had to open the borders of the country again, she would do it. She tried to impose her decisions on immigration on the reluctant European countries of Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. She is still trying.

Shame is still present in the minds of million of Germans, but fading away. A few years ago, a survey showed almost 70% of Germans were angered at still being held responsible today for crimes against Jews. Roughly 25% of people surveyed agreed with the statement: "Many Jews try to use Germany's Third Reich past to their advantage". Recent polls shows that between one-third and one-half of Germans view Israel as the political equivalent of Nazi Germany. The German government now regularly pretends to give lessons on morality to Israel, but never criticizes terrorist leaders such as Mahmoud Abbas.
Germany remains in a position of appeasing, securing and strengthening economic ties with rogue regimes such as Iran. The German army is so ill-equipped that during exercises instead of weapons, it uses broomsticks. Polls show that the German population now think that the main danger to world peace does not come from Iran or North Korea, but from the United States. Germany is today the most anti-American country in the Western world . Stern, Germany's most popular news weekly magazine, recently put on its cover an image of Donald Trump performing a Nazi salute while draped in the American flag.

Economic efficiency is low. The German economy is essentially an industrial economy and not adapted to the digital age. Investment in GDP has declined; innovative activity is weak; productivity stagnates. Since 2008, annual productivity growth has been only 0.5%. The planned closure of German nuclear power plants in the name of "protecting the climate" raises wholesale electricity prices, while German households and businesses bear the financial burden of paying among the highest electricity costs in the developed world. Unskilled immigrants from the Muslim world cannot replace skilled Germans who retire or pass away. The number of poor people continues to increase. The capacity for receiving immigrants has reached its limits; living conditions in many shelters have become substandard: floors are not cleaned regularly and are soiled for days with blood, urine, feces, and invasion of cockroaches are frequent. The German Commissioner for Immigration recently said that only a quarter to a third of the refugees who settled in Germany could enter the labor market. The others will have to rely on government benefits for the rest of their lives.

Diseases that were nearly eradicated, such as tuberculosis, made a comeback. Vaccines did not exist as Europeans had stopped making them.

The median age in Germany is now 46.8. A gradual replacement of the non-Muslim population with a Muslim population is taking place. Forty percent of children under five, born in Germany, have foreign roots. Since 2005, the population of new arrivals has increased by 24%, while the native population has decreased by 5%.
Demographers say that unless the current trends are reversed, Germans will become a minority in their own country, possibly in fifteen to twenty years.

Nothing at the moment indicates that the trends will reverse.

Most of the German press is permeated with political correctness. Newspapers and magazines support multiculturalism, and do not talk about the most urgent problems facing the country: anemic economic growth, population ageing, and Islamization. Many journalists, professors and writers say that German culture does not exist. When books criticizing Islam may become best sellers, their authors are immediately demonized. Deutschland schafft sich ab ("Germany Abolishes Itself") was an enormous success in 2010, but its author, Thilo Sarrazin, was immediately treated as a "racist" and pushed towards the margin of all political debates. Rolf Peter Sieferle, a former counselor of Angela Merkel, wrote several articles describing the self-destruction of Germany. "A society that can no longer make the difference between itself and the forces that dissolve it lives morally beyond its means," he said in 2015. Insulted and rejected by those with whom he used to work, he committed suicide in September 2016. A collection of his notes was published after his death, Finis Germaniae ("The End of Germany").

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) political party promises to "shake off the Bundestag". The 12.6% of the vote it received will undoubtedly give it a voice. Its leaders are treated by the media and other political parties as the incarnation of the devil. Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel warned against the entry of "real Nazis" into the parliament . A leader of the far-left Die Linke party asked: "Have we not learnt the lessons from the war?". Jewish leaders are scared: Dr. Josef Schuster, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany said that AfD uses strategies generally used by aspiring "fascist dictatorships."

The AfD party is not Nazi, however. Its members rather seem to fear that Germany and Germans will disappear under the weight of Islam. The Nazis were anti-Semitic, militarist, socialist, and desired to conquer. The AfD is not anti-Semitic, not militarist, not socialist, and does not want to conquer other countries. Jewish leaders in Germany are frightened because they think that if the AfD is hostile to one minority, the Muslims, it could grow hostile to other minorities. They are probably wrong. There is no comparison between Muslims and Jews. The AfD has strongly supported Israel's right to exist and Israel's right to has to fight the Islamic threat against it.

Some AfD members have made controversial statements about German soldiers, and about the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin.
At the same time, the AfD is currently Germany's most pro-Israeli party. It is also the only party that clearly foresees the very real risk of Germany sliding towards an Islamic sunset.

Is it possible for Germany to recover? We shall see. What is at stake here, however, is far more than Germany

An expended brass case, Ode to a friend
By
Donald Harward

Looking at this empty case it tells me a lot. It is old school, from an era now well past. It is a thirty-ought-six, which was used by the US Army from the First World War on through the Korean conflict. This one was fired from a bolt action, an M-1903 whose designation points to the year the weapon was adopted into the Army as the standard service rifle. This cartridge, one of twenty one such casings littering the ground after being fired by seven uniformed members of our Armed Forces.

I scarcely know which rifle or man or on which volley my cartridge issued forth from the firing chamber after the bolt was crisply worked up, then aft, then forward, then locked down again, All I know is that it was fired by one of those guys. It seems that after the volley, sometime when no one paid attention or perhaps was more concerned with listening to the words of our pastor, that someone picked up those twenty one cases and placed them in a bag.

That bag was handed to a lady who looked tired. She had been through quite a bit in the past few days, having to do things she had probably almost never thought she’d have to do. She certainly didn’t think any of this would be happening the Sunday before when I sat near her in the bible study that her husband taught. I think she would just rather wake up from all this and discover it was nothing but a very bad dream, but alas, that is not going to happen. Neither will next week’s Sunday school class be taught by her husband.

Tom earned the right to that twenty one gun salute for his service as an Army enlisted guy where he crewed and operated the door gun on a UH-1 Huey in Vietnam. We talked often about those times, he, always downplaying his role or the danger of flying there much the same as many heroes do from that time or from wars earlier on.

The first time I ever saw him, I was a new guy at the church where we both attended. I was rounding the corner heading to the men’s room and he was opposite me going into the main service. Passing him, I keyed in on the bronze star I recognized on his lapel. “Vietnam?” I questioned pointing to the decoration. “Yea, door gunner, you?” “Naw, too young, I missed that one, but caught a couple other others along the way.” He introduced himself to me, “Tom Craner” and invited me to come to his weekly bible study. How many times since that day I have kicked myself in the rear for not taking him up on that offer. It was a couple years later when I finally walked into his class and was almost immediately hooked by the energy and spirit of that place.

Tom is by far, one of the most inspired bible teachers I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. But his class, to me was not just a class in the traditional sense. You know, one where you listen to a teacher describe or explain a point. Nope, this man made you “feel it.” He would read a verse or on a rare day, maybe two then go off into describing the terrain around that situation, because, you see, he had actually been there. He would describe how the sun at that time of day was bisected by a distant hilltop, and how the mist from the sea would rise up and obscure the fishing boats. Listening to him I could picture Armies of David battling the Philistines. He would describe the smells and the tastes and the savagery of the sword point. I mean to hear him dissect the word was as close to being there as one could get.

Tom’s class was my church. I serve during all the rest of the goings-on during Sundays so I can’t hear a full sermon. I sometimes miss praise or get just a bit of this testimony or that. Tom served as a teacher, I serve elsewhere. I looked forward with a childlike zeal to showing up in Tom’s class for a dive into the word. I sure love the Lord, but Tom made me look like a cub scout on his first outing by comparison. I, well, all of us there, “Felt” the word as delivered by that man. It energized me, it just unfolded like a treasure map to the ultimate find to me. And all the while that came with a dash of humor, political commentary and even some light hearted banter between him and Diane, his wife since he was a bit more than a kid.

No replacing that, those people are just too far in between. Thinking about it Tom was a gift that God shared with all of us for a time. But just as the bible points out, it was a season, and now that season has past. I was thinking about Tom just last Saturday, a couple days after that brass cartridge was ejected from that hot firing chamber. I was thinking about my friend. And I was thinking of the bible story about the silver smith refining silver. The smith continues the process until the silver is so pure that the refiner can see his own reflection in the molten pool. Then it is finished, done, as pure as it can get and useful for other things and of great value.

Tom’s life was like that. The potter’s hand, a master silver smith himself had been removing impurities from Tom for a long time. He had reached a point where Tom was “Done,” where very little else could be changed to make him perfect in the father’s eyes. Tom had reached a point of excellence in his life and I believe in my heart that God loved him so much that he took him to be with Jesus. Tom walked the walk and talked the talk in a public manner and had affected and changed so many lives that he had indeed done the work that Jesus had set before we Christians. The great commission, to spread the word throughout the world.

Tom set the word on fire and scattered it out on a dried forest. I might well have been a mound of dying grass in that field that his fiery word set ablaze and ignited everything to my right and left. He was that kind of a man, a teacher, a lover of the Lord and the word, a husband, father, and excellent at just about every other noun you can think of that described his life.

He was a gem, he was a pearl, he was a one of a kind genuine guy, he was a deacon, he was a business man, he had been a warrior at one time, and he was my friend. Who knows why men become friends, or why they develop a bond. All I know is that between certain people that bond develops. I know that between warriors it develops much stronger.

So it boils down to this brass case sitting on my walnut desk that Diane, eyes full of tears, gave me. She said she knew Tom and I were friends and he would want me to have it. What is it, less than an ounce? And yet it represents so very much. How can something so small even begin to account for something as massive as the effect on all of us from this man’s life? I guess in the end I am just a simple soldier and I’ll not endure forever on the question. I guess I’ll just move out, although with a bit of hesitation in my step now, but I’ll move out and try to make something worthy of the days I have remaining. I’ll just count myself fortunate that God allowed us to be friends. I’ll be thankful for all the underlined verses in my old bible that are a direct result of listening to that man, and I’ll thank God that he shared Tom with all of us

Miss ya bro!

Veteran's Day Week-end

“People are now calling for a complete National Boycott of the NFL for Sunday November 12th, which is Veteran’s Day Weekend. They are calling for a boycott of all football telecast, all fans, all ticket holders, stay away from attending any games, let them play to empty stadiums. Pass this post along to all your friends and family. Honor our military, some of whom come home with the American Flag draped over their coffin..There are plenty of ways, times and places to protest concerning one’s chosen cause, but to do so during a brief special time set aside to honor our nation’s flag and the bravery and lives of our nation’s military heroes, is inappropriate and disrespectful. Of course black lives matter, but so do the precious lives of millions of US soldiers (of all races) who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend and protect our nation’s rights and freedoms….and who most certainly deserve all of our respect. It’s not about Trump, its about all those who bravely and unselfishly serve and who have served our nation. The Star Spangled Banner is presented to honor all of them.”

I sure as heck agree and will be boycotting. How about you? Share if you do. Spread the word.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Hopefully none of us will ever have to use this information but at least we have it. A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed and getting to the patient within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE - A true story

Susie is recouping at an incredible pace for someone with a massive

stroke all because Sherry saw Susie stumble - - that is the key that isn't

mentioned below -and then she asked Susie the 3 questions.

So simple - - this literally saved Susie's life - - Some angel sent it

to Suzie's friend and they did just what it said to do. Suzie failed

all three so then 9-1-1 was called. Even though she had normal blood

pressure readings and did not appear to be a stroke as she could converse

to some extent with the Paramedics they took her to the hospital right

away. Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps.

Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.

Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke

victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the

symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by

asking three simple questions:

1. *Ask the individual to SMILE.

2. *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

3. *Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e., It is sunny out today)

If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks,

call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

After discovering that a group of non-medical volunteers could identify

facial weakness, arm weakness and speech problems, researchers urged

the general public to learn the three questions. They presented their

conclusions at the American Stroke Association's annual meeting last

February. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and

treatment of the stroke and prevent brain damage.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10

people, you can bet that at least one life will be saved

If true, that Clinton would need to hang

As a side note, the 2012 Chinook was not the only one bagged by a stinger. The Taliban bagged one in 2008, 09 or 2010, I can't recall. All I remember is that in the Helmand that hook crew took one through the cockpit and one in the engines. Everyone died. Word on the street was that a Pakistani intelligence guy was hanging out with some Taliban who fired two US Stingers that came from who knows where (Our CIA??) and killed that crew.

I tell you, some day there will be a reckoning!

Not fact checked...

Unverified   https://www.truthorfiction.com/clinton-sent-ambassador-stevens-benghazi-retrieve-stinger-missiles/

This is the smoking truth finally…BINGO!…… Looks like the ship has finally hit the sand!!!! Benghazi and the Matching Serial Numbers Tyranny is so close!  Hopefully we are now witnessing the death throes of the lying liberal media. May they go the way of Montgomery Ward!

Benghazi and the Matching Serial Numbers

So here's the REAL story.  Amb. Stevens was sent to Benghazi in order to retrieve US made Stinger missiles supplied to Ansar al Sharia without Congressional oversight or permission. Hillary brokered the deal through Stevens and a private arms dealer named Marc Turi.

Then some of the shoulder fired missiles ended up in Afghanistan and were used against our own military. It was July 25th, 2012 when a Chinook helicopter was taken down by one of our own Stingers, but the idiot Taliban didn't arm the missile and the Chinook didn't explode, but had to land anyway. An ordnance team recovered the serial number off the missile which led back to a cache of Stingers being kept in Qatar by the CIA.

Obama and Hillary were now in full panic mode and Stevens was sent in to retrieve the rest of the Stingers. This was a "do-or-die" mission, which explains the stand down orders given to multiple commando teams.

It was the State Dept., not the CIA, that supplied them to our sworn enemies, because Petraeus wouldn't approve supplying these deadly weapons due to their potential use on commercial aircraft.

Then, Obama threw Gen. Petraeus under the bus after he refused to testify that he OK'd the BS talking points about a spontaneous uprising due to a YouTube video.

Obama and Hillary committed treason and THIS is what the investigation is all about, why she had a private server, (in order to delete the digital evidence), and why Obama, two weeks after the attack, told the UN that the attack was the result of a YouTube video, even though everyone knew it was not.

Further...the Taliban knew that this administration aided and abetted the enemy without Congressional approval when Boehner created the Select Cmte, and the Taliban began pushing the Obama Administration for the release of 5 Taliban Generals.

Bowe Bergdahl was just a pawn...everyone KNEW he was a traitor.

So we have a traitor as POTUS that is not only corrupt, but compromised and a woman that is a serial liar, perjured herself multiple times at Congressional hearings.

Perhaps this is why no military aircraft was called in because the administration knew our enemies had Stingers.

Forward this again and again and again until everyone reads the true story.

And Just think over half of the US population doesn't know this.

IT TAKES SO LITTLE TO SOLVE BIG PROBLEMS!

For generations the Black community of Baltimore has been under assault by four Confederate Monuments! These monuments were relentless in their destruction of the Black family, resulting in over 70% of Black children being born out of wedlock.

So affected by the presence of these monuments, over 60% of Black men in the city could not work a job and found comfort in fathering numerous
children with numerous women — children that they could not feed, nor support.

Just knowing that the monuments were there made Black school children have the lowest test scores in the Nation and many turned to drugs to relieve
the pressures of those damnable monuments' presence.

Worst of all, the mere existence of the monuments caused death! Not being able to handle the hate and violence that the monuments represented, the
Black males in the city took to killing each other by the thousands. Just in the last 2 years they have murdered over 500 of their own!  It is a new
occupying way-of-life!

Praise be to God, and for the Wisdom of the Mayor.....It is a new dawn for Black Baltimoreans! THE CITY CAN NOW PROSPER!

The shackles have been removed and all that can be said is..."Free at last, free at last, Thank God Almighty, we're free at last!"

                   GOOD LUCK, BALTI-MORONS!

This is more bullcrap from this left that i am absolutely coming to hate!
Total worthless liars, but that is sugar coating it!

So I spent a good portion of my life in service to my nation, working for a government that tries at every turn to take all the things I was promised.

My lifetime healthcare, well it is still there, but I have to pay more and more for it every year. Hey, I already did many years of actual combat duty that I can't just say, "Hey fellas, since you are reneging on your promises, I guess, I'll just take back all of that, please.

I'd like some hair back to please, and perhaps some color in it as well. I started losing my brown hair color during many sleepless nights in the cold turret of an M60A1 battle tank and the cockpits of stinky helicopters over some decades.
Your VA is a friggin joke! Government, can you remember that I broke my back twice in your Army? remember that? Hey, still can't touch my toes or feel parts of my legs, can I have that reversed please?

That happened on duty, in uniform during actual missions or training. You know it still hurts a lot. Since you lying bastards have decided to pull your support, I want that to not have happened as well! And government, gotta love this. You worthless sons of bitches are the actual people who get to decide and you decided that those broken backs of mine are not worthy of even a single single percent of disability...Thanks you pieces of crap!

I only consider myself lucky knowing that I'll never have to see you, you won't be found in places of honor that I and my friends hang out. You are lesser people, liars ashamed of what you see in the mirror. But I am not ashamed, because what I did I did as an American. I did it because I love my nation and I for one stand on MY WORD, and I promised to protect and defend it to my last breath.

I watch as you open your arms to illegal aliens and people from every nation on earth, many of them who protest MY FLAG. I ever see that and it ain't gonna go well for you, or them, you worthless cowards. You give my nation's resources to them, not me or my friends who carry scars, without complaint and will all of their lives. There is a young man on this very site that killed a boy in one of those god forsaken countries you sent us to. With his bare hands...Think about that. Who taught him to do that. Who motivated him to carry out such a horrible thing? Who placed him in that position? You did, you bastards! DO YOU THINK HE WILL EVER OUTGROW THAT! You soulless pieces of crap, I can't believe I'm wasting a keystroke on any of you. You have earned a well deserved fiery hell which knows no honor, no sacrifice, and no God. But I know him, and like my nation I love him. And I will never lose the courage to say it right to your face!

In the same way he made you to be cowardly, I am made inversely to be a purveyor of truth and stand for what is good!

I can't hear anymore out of one of my ears, did you know that and do you care? I know you don't. I know you are at the VA because you are worthless and non caring. I hate it that you have any authority over my brothers. You should not be allowed to serve them, they are so much better than you! Government, do you remember how I lost my hearing? Figures, you forgot,  I mean why would you remember anything about me, I'm just another hick wearing the uniform out playing Army, right? Well, one of your guys fired a 105mm cannon right next to me and blew my head apart. Doctors thought I would never hear again, but my God proved you wrong and I regained that hearing. Took a while and I couldn't hear for a long time things like "Hey Daddy" from my son, but hey, who cares, right?

Then you gave me a SPH-4 helmet and put me in a noisy Chinook helicopter. I remember you telling me that the helmet could not quite protect me against that super loud cockpit. Remember that? You told me that I should just wear some earplugs and go with it. But then there's that little problem with the radios. Remember me telling you that none of us could hear the crucial radio calls with the earplugs in?? Even with the volume turned all the way up, remember that. So, being soldiers first, we all took those earplugs out and just "sucked it up." Well over the years all those hearing tests you gave me accurately tracked a growing permanent hearing loss, I mean that is official, right. So your helmet couldn't protect me, and if I wore the ear plugs I might miss a radio call, which by the way could have cost me my life and the lives of thirty far more precious "hicks" in the back who placed their life in the hands of the officer up front. But, that's just the way it is if you sign up to serve.

I remember when that gay loser kenyan you swore into office of the president said unwittingly, that wounded soldiers should be responsible for their own medical costs. Me and a lot of the other hicks out here remember that!  You said they were volunteers, and they all knew the risks and therefore should bear the costs of their on the job injuries. I wonder if that POS would have said that about is muslim buddies? What a walking/talking example of a non caring self centered, typical liberal and bureaucrat!

After all that and several VA hearing tests, you tell me, no hearing aids, loss is not bad enough. But, it is your very same government set standards which says I am deaf in one ear, and approaching that point in the other! So the VA is what exactly? Certainly not a health care system that serves anything but itself. What should I expect, they are government, and like the gov, they lie too.

I don't get it. An honorable person would simply do what is right. But you, you worthless government tell lies. You are liars, and cheats, and you steal, and destroy families.

Oh on that, and I know this doesn't matter, but do you know my wife and kids are always frustrated and sometimes angry with me because I don't answer them. I just can't actually hear them. I guess they expect me to be more like everyone else around here, all those who did not serve in noisy cockpits or have their head turned inside out by pesky old 105mm cannons.

Hey, question here, did you think you could create an honorable man, then just have me switch it off when that was no longer convenient for you? You would think like that...a lifetime of caring for only yourself made you that way. Seriously look away when I look at you. Stand a bit lower when one of us walks by. Because, and I will say it, we are better than you, a lot better. We are real, not fake like you. Schummer? Wouldn't allow him to wipe my butt!

On second thought, screw it. I have learned to live with it, and nobody gets out of life alive anyway. And in the end, my people have made for themselves crowns in heaven, a place which will largely be be devoid of the likes of you. Thank God for that!

You lying hypocritical worthless pieces of crap, one day the wolf will come a-knockin'! When that day comes, I think I'll just get back on my tractor and turn up the tunes while he tears you apart and just enjoy the ride on my John Deere. Be careful, government, you get to sleep in the bed you make. We are strong. If we leave you because you turn our stomachs at the thought of serving the world's biggest freak show, you're truly on your own. Think that 90 pound trans with a beard is gonna protect ya? Think again. Better yet, just go away and stay out of our places of worship and other places. While we are at our ballparks, be ye not there. Don't engage us with meaningless conversation, we, like you, no longer care about you! You are lesser men, boys really, you have no honor!

A woman died at age 65. She paid into the system for almost 50 years and collected NOTHING? Keep in mind all the people that die every year that were paying into the system and got nothing!

And these governmental morons mismanaged the money and stole from the system, so that it's now going broke.
BEAUTIFUL! and they have the audacity to call today's seniors "vultures" in an attempt to cover their ineptitude.DISGRACEFUL!
The real reason for renaming our Social Security payments is so the government can claim that all those social security recipients are receiving entitlements thus putting  them in the same case as welfare, food stamp recipients.

THIS IS WORTH THE FEW MINUTES IT TAKES TO READ AND DIGEST!

F.Y.I.  By changing the name of  SS contributions it gives them a means to refute this program in the future. It's free money for the government to spend under this guise.

It is really sad to think that most people will just roll over and accept this as if there is nothing that can be done, but maybe there is if we make a little noise  about our displeasure with what they have done to today's retirees.
I will pass this on!!!!!
The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a *Federal Benefit Payment*?
I'll be part of the one percent to forward this. I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you.

Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it.
The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment."

This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income!  Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that's close to $180,000 invested in Social Security.

If you calculate the future value of your monthly investment in social security ($375/month, including both you and your employers contributions) at a meager 1% interest  rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working you'd have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved!
This is your personal investment. Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month.
That's almost three times more than today's average Social Security benefit of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration. (Google it – it's a fact). And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you're 98 if you retire at age 65)! I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts.

Instead, the folks in  Washington pulled off a bigger *Ponzi scheme* than Bernie Madoff ever did. (Lyndon Johnson)

They took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking.  They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted  to lend the money to them.  And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. (Isn't it funny that they NEVER say this about welfare payments?)
But is it our fault they misused our investments?  And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a *benefit*, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it. Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!
Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.

Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it.

Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.

99% of people won't forward this.

Will you

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS: “How many flood victims in South Texas have been rescued by the antifa navy? Just asking, because on TV this week I’ve been watching the “Cajun Navy” pull one Dunkirk after another all around the Gulf Coast. And those good old boys look like they just came off the set of “Duck Dynasty.” They could be wearing MAGA hats. Hell, I’ll bet one or two of them may have even been falsely accused of committing a fake hate crime or two since the election by some unhinged Social Justice Warrior.

They are, to coin a phrase, deplorables. Hell, a Chick-fil-A franchise in Houston sent out a power boat to rescue a couple of elderly customers, which is exactly one more rescue boat than George Soros, Tom Steyer, Evergreen State, Black Lives Matter and moveon.org have dispatched, combined.

And the old folks didn’t even ask if Chick-fil-A’s CEO is still opposed to gay marriage. Is Michael Moore hosting an All-U-Can-Eat buffet for first responders in Harris County? If he were, surely MSNBC would be covering it, live. Where are Elizabeth Warren, Whoopi Goldberg, Steven Colbert, etc. etc.?

Seriously, doesn’t it look like almost all of the heavy lifting in the wake of Harvey is being done by people who belong to what the Southern Poverty Law Center would describe as “hate groups?” Speaking of which, when does the SPLC’s food drive begin?

Are the non-workers of the Socialist Workers Party and the Spartacist League loading any southbound 18-wheelers with relief supplies this weekend?

Maybe everyone in “the Resistance” is worn out from wearing pink hats and black masks and tipping over statues and sucker punching passersby with bicycle locks in Berkeley and grabbing an old lady’s flag on the Boston Common and burning it – all those wonderful manifestations of how Love Trumps Hate, as they say.

Of course, it’s the last weekend of summer, so you can’t expect the likes of Jeffrey Epstein to be scrambling his private 747 out of the Hamptons to airlift foodstuffs to Galveston and Beaumont. You can’t be asking Brooklyn hipsters or Occupy Wall Street to occupy a relief shelter when the Beautiful People are jetting into Nantucket for brunch at the Chanticleer Inn.

Besides, as assorted adjunct professors at third-rate colleges have been tweeting out all week, those are Trump voters stranded down there in the Lone Star State – bitter clingers and irredeemables. Do we even know if the Salvation Army has transgender bathrooms at its shelter in Port Arthur?

It’s Labor Day and Jerry Lewis is gone, but maybe Colin Kaepernick could stage a Harvey telethon outside NFL headquarters on Park Avenue. Why should J.J. Watt and his white privilege have all the fun raising charitable donations?

Then there’s John Kerry – he did sell his second wife’s first husband’s trust fund’s yacht when he moved from Nantucket to the Vineyard, but he could still enlist in the Cajun Navy. America’s Gigolo has other plans this weekend, though According to The Hill, Liveshot is busy – “Kerry races to save American cycling team.” Well, first things first. “Kerry, an avid cyclist, has been working the phones to find new supporters for the team, Cannondale-Drapac, after one of its lead sponsors pulled its funding unexpectedly last week.” Now there is a real tragedy.

How about the Clinton Foundation? They have more money than God, but if you go to their website, all it has is a list of links to other organizations. For flood relief, I guess it takes a village, but not the Clinton Foundation. Hillary is about to begin her new book tour. It only costs $2400 per person to attend the Toronto fete. How about a charity book signing in Lafayette LA? Call it, “Harvey – What Happened?”

Al Gore’s new “documentary” is tanking. Maybe he should offer free showings to the volunteer Tea Party types trying to lend a hand.

Joel Osteen took a lot of grief this week, but his church is open. Has anyone seen La Raza? Which of his three mansions is Bernie Sanders opening for flood victims?

Victims of Hurricane Harvey, when the phone don’t ring, you’ll know it’s #resist.”

It is becoming increasingly clear that Colin Kaepernick will not play football this season and it is all about his antics on the field concerning the National Anthem!
Now Kaepernick is getting a brutal dose of truth levied by an NFL front office executive:
“It’s about the risk of what happens to the team concept when you sign a guy — a quarterback — who has put his personal agenda ahead of what we are all charged to do, which is put the team first. As a team builder, I cannot risk that happening again, especially for a borderline starter who needs the entire offense catered to his style.”

BOOM!

NFL Executive Drops Brutal Dose of Truth on Colin Kaepernick

In a nutshell, whether Kaepernick is correct, or not. You DO NOT protest on your employers time. He could have made his message clear, without doing it when people are there to watch a game. He took advantage of a bully pulpit that was not his.

Now he is toxic! No NFL team wants to do with the mess that would come along with signing him!

The executive continued with two shining examples of quarterbacks who value winning as a team above all else, including protests during the national anthem.

“Tom Brady or Philip Rivers would never consider making a stand on something like that, and it’s just because it’s not the place. I don’t disparage what he did. I understand and I’m all for people standing up for a cause, just not while they’re at work,” the executive said.

“As far as his prospects as a backup, I don’t think he is being blackballed in terms of rich white owners saying, ‘We are not hiring this guy,’” a defensive coordinator also told ESPN.

“I think coaches are like, ‘Look, if this kid is not starting for us, why are you bringing in distractions not for a starter? We have a pretty good sort of locker room and mesh here. What is the risk-reward?’ I don’t think anyone is to the point of making him the starter, and that is the bubble he is getting caught in.”

Harsh, but true.

One anonymous AFC general manager chalked Kaepernick’s cold reception up to three things: 1) he can’t play at a high performance level anymore, 2) owners fear his presence will cause a backlash among the fan base, and 3) owners and organizations simply hate him.

Kaepernick has the constitutional freedom to protest all he wants. But there are consequences, especially when you chose to protest on your employer’s time clock.

Kaepernick was responsible for an NFL wide boycott that cost them and their advertisers millions. The NFL viewership dropped to lows not seen since its inception.

Since, he has compared law enforcement as slave owners and been very vocal about his anti-American stances.

The problem is the NFL fan base is very patriotic. Football fans love this country and they respect law enforcement.

Kaepernick’s playing ability declined as well, and that was no accident. When you start every game thinking negative thoughts, you have doomed yourself. That goes for any job, football to sales.

I predict that Kaepernick will stay unsigned. Kaepernick is an insult to America and he costs whatever team he is on, not only profits but fans. I guarantee that if Miami or Baltimore had signed him, they would have been boycotted and rightly so.

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Progressive Insurance

When I purchased my motorcycle insurance some years ago, I was appalled to discover USAA had sub contracted Progressive to insure its members motorcycles. I wrote an email to the CEO and purchased an Allstate policy which I kept for a year, then switched to GEICO, where I remain to this day. I'll never knowingly give one cent of my money to a company who fosters anti american and anti-God policies...Never!

Flo and Her Boss
Here is something on The Fake Americans--

Stephanie Courtney, the actress, who plays "Flo" in the
Progressive Insurance TV commercials, gets paid $500,000 per
year.

In case you didn't know.....The "Harley Owners Group,"
the biggest motorcycle club in America, perhaps even in the
world, hasn't found any members that have Progressive Insurance
since word got out about Progressive's communist affiliations.

Progressive's association with George Soros, alone,
should bring chills up your back. Oh, you don't know
who George Soros is?  He financed the
          Obama progressive affiliations.  Progressive Insurance...

Who are they? You've seen and probably smiled at the clever
Progressive Insurance TV commercials.  Well, you're about
to learn the rest of the story..

          Interesting news!!!

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE ~ You know their
TV commercials ... The ones featuring the ditsy actress
all dressed in white. What you might not know is that
the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the
major funders of leftist causes in America.

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to
the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying
          what's left of America's Judo-Christian heritage. Lewis
          also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org   http://moveon..org/
and America Coming Together, two key propaganda arms
          of the socialist left.

His funding for these groups was conditional on
matching contributions from George Soros, the
America-hating socialist who is the chief financier
          of the Obama political machine.

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but
now finances a progressive movement that threatens
to destroy the American free enterprise system.

His group is targeting television shows on Fox News.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative
Americans (who buy his auto insurance), then he uses
that money to dismantle the very system that made
him wealthy.  He's banking on no one finding out
who he is, so STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this
information on to all your friends.

Chairman Lewis' gift helps the ACLU promote their
anti-Christmas agenda such as: Removing nativity
scenes from public property Banning songs such
as Silent Night from schools Refusing to allow students
to write about the Christian aspect of Christmas in

parade to be called a Christmas parade Not allowing a
Christmas tree in a public school Renaming a

In addition to their war on Christmas, the ACLU uses gifts
like that from Chairman Lewis to  Sue states to force them
to legalize homosexual marriage  Force libraries to remove

Rewriting history according to contemporary views and prejudice.
This would be a wonderful statement to be required reading on college campuses and by the people in Santa Fe and our leaders  in Washington.  The Brits have a clear  way to say it.

This letter is a response to Black Students attending Oxford as Rhodes Scholars wanting to remove the statue of Oxford Benefactor, Cecil Rhodes.  It should be read on every campus in the U.S. as well.

Dear Scrotty Students,

Cecil Rhodes’s generous bequest has contributed greatly to the comfort and well being of many generations of Oxford students – a good many of them, dare we say it, better, brighter and more deserving than you.

This does not necessarily mean we approve of everything Rhodes did in his lifetime – but then we don’t have to. Cecil Rhodes died over a century ago. Autres temps, autres moeurs*. If you don’t understand what this means – and it would not remotely surprise us if that were the case – then we really think you should ask yourself the question: “Why am I at Oxford?”

Oxford, let us remind you, is the world’s second oldest extant university. Scholars have been studying here since at least the 11th century. We’ve played a major part in the invention of Western civilisation, from the 12th century intellectual renaissance through the Enlightenment and beyond. Our alumni include William of Ockham, Roger Bacon, William Tyndale, John Donne, Sir Walter Raleigh, Erasmus, Sir Christopher Wren, William Penn, Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA), Samuel Johnson, Robert Hooke, William Morris, Oscar Wilde, Emily Davison, Cardinal Newman, Julie Cocks. We’re a big deal. And most of the people privileged to come and study here are conscious of what a big deal we are. Oxford is their alma mater – their dear mother – and they respect and revere her accordingly.

And what were your ancestors doing in that period? Living in mud huts, mainly. Sure we’ll concede you the short lived Southern African civilisation of Great Zimbabwe. But let’s be brutally honest here. The contribution of the Bantu tribes to modern civilisation has been as near as damn it to zilch.

You’ll probably say that’s “racist”. But it’s what we here at Oxford prefer to call “true.” Perhaps the rules are different at other universities. In fact, we know things are different at other universities. We’ve watched with horror at what has been happening across the pond from the University of Missouri to the University of Virginia and even to revered institutions like Harvard and Yale: the “safe spaces”; the‪ #‎blacklivesmatter; the creeping cultural relativism; the stifling political correctness; what Allan Bloom rightly called “the closing of the American mind”. At Oxford however, we will always prefer facts and free, open debate to petty grievance-mongering, identity politics and empty sloganeering. The day we cease to do so is the day we lose the right to call ourselves the world’s greatest university.

Of course, you are perfectly within your rights to squander your time at Oxford on silly, vexatious, single-issue political campaigns. (Though it does make us wonder how stringent the vetting procedure is these days for Rhodes scholarships and even more so, for Mandela Rhodes scholarships) We are well used to seeing undergraduates – or, in your case – postgraduates, making idiots of themselves. Just don’t expect us to indulge your idiocy, let alone genuflect before it. You may be black – “BME” as the grisly modern terminology has it – but we are colour blind. We have been educating gifted undergraduates from our former colonies, our Empire, our Commonwealth and beyond for many generations. We do not discriminate over sex, race, colour or creed. We do, however, discriminate according to intellect.

That means, inter alia, that when our undergrads or postgrads come up with fatuous ideas, we don’t pat them on the back, give them a red rosette and say: “Ooh, you’re black and you come from South Africa. What a clever chap you are!”  No. We prefer to see the quality of those ideas tested in the crucible of public debate. That’s another key part of the Oxford intellectual tradition you see: you can argue any damn thing you like but you need to be able to justify it with facts and logic – otherwise your idea is worthless.

This ludicrous notion you have that a bronze statue of Cecil Rhodes should be removed from Oriel College, because it’s symbolic of “institutional racism” and “white slavery”. Well even if it is – which we dispute – so bloody what? Any undergraduate so feeble-minded that they can’t pass a bronze statue without having their “safe space” violated really does not deserve to be here. And besides, if we were to remove Rhodes’s statue on the premise that his life wasn’t blemish-free, where would we stop? As one of our alumni Dan Hannan has pointed out, Oriel’s other benefactors include two kings so awful – Edward II and Charles I – that their subjects had them killed. The college opposite – Christ Church – was built by a murderous, thieving bully who bumped off two of his wives. Thomas Jefferson kept slaves: does that invalidate the US Constitution? Winston Churchill had unenlightened views about Muslims and India: was he then the wrong man to lead Britain in the war?”

Actually, we’ll go further than that. Your Rhodes Must Fall campaign is not merely fatuous but ugly, vandalistic and dangerous. We agree with Oxford historian RW Johnson that what you are trying to do here is no different from what ISIS and the Al-Qaeda have been doing to artefacts in places like Mali and Syria. You are murdering history.

And who are you, anyway, to be lecturing Oxford University on how it should order its affairs? Your ‪#‎rhodesmustfall campaign, we understand, originates in South Africa and was initiated by a black activist who told one of his lecturers “whites have to be killed”. One of you – Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh – is the privileged son of a rich politician and a member of a party whose slogan is “Kill the Boer; Kill the Farmer”; another of you, Ntokozo Qwabe, who is only in Oxford as a beneficiary of a Rhodes scholarship, has boasted about the need for “socially conscious black students” to “dominate white universities, and do so ruthlessly and decisively!

Great. That’s just what Oxford University needs. Some cultural enrichment from the land of Winnie Mandela, burning tyre necklaces, an AIDS epidemic almost entirely the result of government indifference and ignorance, one of the world’s highest per capita murder rates, institutionalised corruption, tribal politics, anti-white racism and a collapsing economy. Please name which of the above items you think will enhance the lives of the 22,000 students studying here at Oxford.

And then please explain what it is that makes your attention grabbing campaign to remove a listed statue from an Oxford college more urgent, more deserving than the desire of probably at least 20,000 of those 22,000 students to enjoy their time here unencumbered by the irritation of spoilt, ungrateful little tossers on scholarships they clearly don’t merit using racial politics and cheap guilt-tripping to ruin the life and fabric of our beloved university.

Understand us and understand this clearly: you have everything to learn from us; we have nothing to learn from you.

Yours,

Oriel College, Oxford

A newsletter distributed at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs says veterans shouldn't be in college:
(Oh, this is gonna be good!)
The newsletter reads as follows:

"A four-year, traditional university is supposed to be a place of learning, of understanding, of safety and security. However, there is an element among us who may be frustrating those goals: Veterans. (How is that, exactly???)

UCCS is known for its number of veterans who are full and part-time students. But these veterans of much of the school prides themselves on may be hurting the university. (Because the university endeavors to create non-thinking, leadership free, confused-wossies?)

First off, many veterans openly mock the ideas of diversity and safe spaces for vulnerable members of society. (That's because veterans know of a thing called courage) This is directly in contradiction to the mission of UCCS. (What is the mission of UCCS exactly? Creation of the new CCP? (Cowardly communist Party)) Many veterans utter the mantra that they, "do not see color". (True! THey see rank and authority in their fellow warrior) But the problem lies in their socialization into the military culture that is that of a white supremacist organization. (Anybody with a brain buying this? I mean, really, who believes this crap?)They have been permanently tainted, and are no long fit for a four-year university. (It is not a matter of fitness of a university, it is more a matter of subjecting good men and women who served to the bull crap they have to contend with in this institution of high learning, of which is certainly is not!)

Second, many students are frightened by the presence of veterans in their classrooms. (Good! You are not supposed to stand in the presence of killers and not fear them to some degree...That is by design! Just suppose that our enemies felt more like dating our warriors than running from them...Would we as a country be better off? Put down the rose colored glasses and step away from the weed and nobody gets hurt!)Veterans usually have an overwhelming presence in the classroom, which can distract other students. This is usually true for vulnerable individual such as LGBTQQI2SAA, (What the frick is that?) who have been known to be the butt of insensitive jokes made by veterans. (Dude, you color your hair purple, Publically kiss on another man, well, boy, forget to wash for a week, wear T-shirts exalting rapists, hate police, protest everything, do absolutely nothing, want everyone to serve you, and talk as if you are the upcoming poster child for the "I love Stupid" CBS mini series. And we veterans and other normal people are supposed to take you seriously?)

Finally, veterans usually are associated with extremists right-wing groups such as the tea party and the NRA. In order to provide a safe place for all students, extremist right-wing groups must be suppressed on campus. (Try and change it and I'll show you what supressed means!) This would include their followers: veterans.

That is not to say that veterans should not be allowed an education. (Naturally! They should be allowed to, what, go to some carpentry or transmission repair class?) Veterans should be allowed to attend trade schools, or maybe even community college. (I'm laughing now!...Maybe even community college...!!!!!!!!!) But, in order to protect our academic institutions we must ban veterans from four-year universities." (Wouldn't want to interfere with the "free thinking" that goes on there would we? Wouldn't want to try and deal with adversity or listen to an alternative view now...Man this is hurting my head...)

Oh, there is so much awful here.

Yes, veterans mock safe spaces. (What exactly is a safe place again?)Especially the current batch of veterans who spent time being shot at in Iraq and Afghanistan. They're not sympathetic to the idea that people might need a place to hide for fear of being looked at wrong. (Well, you see, they grew up. They were frightened, but they learned to deal with it. Unlike you, you sniveling wossie, they grew a spine and went out there to try and do something about it. Question for myself: Are these things really worth defending or saving??? I'm thinking I just turn my back for say six months and let the wolf have his way with them, then turn around and shoot everything with hair that is still moving!)

Veterans aren't mocking diversity in and of itself: after all, the military integrated prior to the rest of the nation, and it's one of the most diverse bodies in the country. What veterans mock is the idea that diversity matters more than anything else. Something we all learn in the military is that competence matters more than skin color. Everything does. Just treat people as individuals. (Thank you!)

I can't help but laugh at the idea that the military is a white supremacist organization. The entity that named Gen. Colin Powell as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs. (Oops, you WF's (Woose freaks) forgot about that one!)

This newsletter was apparently written in defense of people who are afraid of veterans on campus. I hate to break it to them, but there are veterans everywhere. (Yea, like right next door to you sheep-people things) They're in almost every business, often succeeding in key roles because of their leadership and selflessness. (And that, my purple headed bozo, is why you aien't gettin hired anywhere! Ha-Ha!)If you feel unsafe, that's on you. Because you're safer with veterans than anyone else.

Further, veterans like myself served to protect these snowflakes' right to free speech, and this is protected as that

We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom, if agreed, stayed home to raise the kids.

What in the heck happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table, at which he's fed.
Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes are the rule.
Tax his work,
Tax his pay, he works for peanuts anyway!
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries tax his tears.
Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways to tax his a$$.
Tax all he has, then let him know that you won't be done till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers; then tax him some more, tax him till he's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod into which he's laid...
Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom..."
When he's gone, do not relax,
it’s time to apply, the Inheritance tax.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations.

The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.

The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.

Who is the speaker of the House now? He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ... If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.

Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses, provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess

Well, the boneheads junked up the last thread, Part 4 so bad, that I have abandoned it. I'll just pick up here in part 5 where I left off there. Those useless DOTs managed to swell that thread out to 39 pages making it long enough to cause psychological damage and TAS (Thread Addiction Syndrome)!

So first up, I ripped a cylinder apart on the 4720 again. so I have removed that for repair, again.

The fault was with my weld. That steel that the piston rod is made from is very brittle, and apparently pretty hard to weld right. Even though I had a very hot weld, there was poor penetration, and it was my weld that actually let go. I'll detail that later on

I have the need to haul quantities of water to various spots for drinking, washing, and construction uses. Be it from water for concrete to washing some equipment, I need to have the water mobile.

I also have the need to take fuel to my heavy equipment. Those pieces of equipment can suck up 60 gallons at a time. Driving a 55,000 lb excavator a half mile to a fuel station is just not practical.

The fuel tanks with pump can run well over a thousand dollars, and although nice, are far above what I require. So in this HMMV trailer I have I plan to siamese two 55 gal metal drums and plumb them up for a pump run by an organic 12 volt battery. The water will likewise be pressurized through a organic pump and routed to some standard faucets for convenience

We going to start with the old Armee trailer which has been serving me well for a few years now.
