One other thing, I had several of these I could not get balanced for my F350 dually. I kept rotating them until I found two I could live with new right out of the gate on the front end. I personally think the QC on these from the factory is crap. My tire place tried to blame the aftermarket chinaman wheels. So I took the oem’s & had them powdered black (original clear had peeled which is why I went to aftermarket). But low & behold the oem wheels had same issues. I give those tires an F rating and kinda like the 6.0L international motor both of those companies owe their customers a lot of money imo.

Your bow makes mine look a little antiquated and low tech. No sights, no release, no kills to date, I wonder if any of that is related. Bear whitetail II purchased brand new in 1987.  Used it for competition shooting in the Ramstein archery club while I was over there. I really need to get something newer that is a little easier on the shoulder and eyes.

My 2 cents (and that’s a high valuation btw).....

Have Nate & Norm come pick it up. If they are still willing that is? Norm has a big shop, he needs more projects (insert eye roll). If nothing else he has a good place to store it for a bit. It gives us all something to harass him about rather than you. Think delegating the work load here, that’s what guys in charge do right? Once he gets that new shop squared away and a couple other things that are consuming his time maybe this is something he tackles? I’d call Norm & chew some fat, he’s always good for that & he’ll give you an honest opinion whether you like it or not. You probably won’t but what can it hurt. One last thing, Nate needs more miles on that bling new truck anyhow.....

Back up a few posts, and you can see back in 2015 I was banning Shawn!

Some things never change!

I think you tried to ban him over on that other Forum even before RMTW existed?

Let’s clarify something here. First Don was not the first to ban me. Actually it was Mr. Teegardin (yes same last name no relation though) assistant principle of East Noble High School Kendallville, In. I was causing issues in his opinion after school in the parking lot with some rather large and older football players. I gained my first concussion from those fellows btw. Then a local Walmart & countless bar owners banned me. After I came to know Don that other forum banned me several times in one day under a few different user names. So the reality is Don is way down the list of people & places that have banned me. This is really nothing new for the record.

Ken, looking  at the photo, I think there is room for a small GPS/ guidance system, heat/blood sensor, and coffee mug  on the bow.

Bob, I hear ya! I thought bow hunting was for those guys that wanted a challenge. At this point these hunters might as well strap a gps locator on the deers hind end and sit behind their laptop using a drone to shoot the deer. Maybe we ought to start a field dressing service for these guys. We'll go get it, dress it and drop it off to the butcher for ya. Then you can show up in your mandels and Hawaiian shirt bragging to your friends..........

BTW, I give Ashley crap all the time about using cameras too so they can track the deers movements. Call me a purist I guess.

I would suggest using solid & not tube, a couple pieces of 1/2” Black pipe cut to 1” long would work too. Anytime you use tube it can compress or with rounded corners rock loose. The solid doesn’t compress......

Honestly, I haven’t tried. The barrel is lone wolf so not bad but there are better units available for such things. I do know my follow up shots are quite a bit quicker with this gun & it stays on point pretty well. The long sight radius is a plus too.

I’d let you taser me once, as long as I can borrow it & shoot ol Ken......

Let me know how the Superchips works out for you. I like to have more referral resources at my disposal. AEV has been my go to due to their JK specific nature, but superchips has been a staple for all other things programmer related for years.
Copy that, Wilco.

Superchips has a 2.25" color screen which you toggle through like the Diablo and others I have used over the years. If you watch the vid on the AEV programmer, the guy is using a knife point to move these really small dip switches. Now put that in the context of someone without perfect eyesight and I think you have the recipe for big trouble.

Super Chips avoids all that mess in my view

Keep us updated on this superchips unit, I'm going to need to do something this year when the larger rubber gets installed. The motor could use a tweak or two too.

I think they make stiffening tubes that go inside the axle housing.  Slide out the shafts, slide in the axle stiffener and reinstall the shafts.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They make weld in tubes (internal) using plug welds for front as well as outer reinforcement tube weld on. The inner c’s bend too & they have gusset kits. It’s all just a bandaid, not that HH6 will probably bend any of it pounding pavement or a muddy dirt track to the hide. Not sure about rear upgrades as I don’t think they are as weak being non steer axle.

6484
I agree the front looks a tad short......

Not sure if I stated this prior but I was put on to these by a regional sales guy I spoke to at Cabelas when they first started handling them. I don't think they are doing that anymore as I have been eyeballing a couple of these in the bargain cave. I have not checked but you may be able to pick them up online via Cabelas website in the online bargain cave. They were running around $100 at the local store in there. I would have my wife with expensive taste buy this for me again............ :likebutton:

Last pic here is of another pocket that has built in pouches. I do carry a small first aid kit, some cord and basic survival things, money, water straw, flint etc. It can be a very basic go bag in this form. the strap can hold a small tablet and the zipper is access to the armor pouch. I also keep a compass hooked to the outside of the bag as I use this on back country hikes as well.

Less Than Lethal / Re: New Man Purse by Vertx

This shot is of the outer pouch pulled open. It can be pulled open easily with one hand, the top is tucked up under a rain flap when closed. As you can see I have done nothing with it but thinking of adding some less than lethal pepper spray and or that taser Charles is looking at once he spends the money to see if they are junk or not. May add a knife to the molle but I keep at least one on me daily anyhow.....

OK, so good men Bobby and Nate trying their hardest to keep me on the straight and narrow I present you with my overview / review.

First patches, yes the one to pick at the majority population of CO and the other to give them the opportunity to hear some truth if they choose to ask........

I have had this for some time now and used it quite a bit this summer as we criss crossed the west on family vacations and outings. Being that the F150 is essentially our family vehicle this resides under my rear seat when not in use. Winter months I either CC a G22 or Smith J frame 38 so it doesn't see much use as I layer up in the winter (old cold storage steel shop habits are hard to break). Guns are easier to hide in the winter. Living in CO the backpack fits in nicely year around just about anywhere with all the homeless carrying them plus hikers etc. I carry a G35 in this pack and quite frankly it is my favorite .40 but really a pig of a pistol truth be told.

So here it is as it lays under my seat. Single strap that carries over left shoulder. Something to note is even though it has a single strap there is another small "lanyard" type strap to keep it centered should the need arise, maybe running? I have the large zipper catch (bottom of this pic) positioned so that I (as a southpaw) can grab it with my right hand and flip the whole pack around onto my chest in a horizontal position. It does this in one smooth action opening the top and I stop it with the zipper half undone. I can then reach in with my left hand and retrieve the weapon. Very easy, smooth and quick with a little practice. I don't have the armor but this pack has a compartment setup so that you can run two pieces of it and by opening that zipper fully your front would be protected nuts to neck. I keep it partially closed to keep the extra mags secured. The Velcro holster design has grown on me but I have yet to fully trust them especially with 22 rounds of .40..... I do like the adjustability of the Velcro holster design, positions can be dialed in infinitely.

Any concerns on that rear track bar relocate bracket? It looks a bit “flimsy” from the angle those pictures were snapped. As you know there is a whole lot of force on that bracket, on my ome kit they dropped it on the frame side & it’s pretty beefy.
