Prayer Request thread
« on: February 26, 2016, 10:43:15 AM »
Not sure what is the best way to go forth with this, but I wanted a single spot to go to where I could corral all the individual requests for prayer. I'm heading off to Friday night Church in 10 hours, and go 2-3 times a week. I'd like to tell others and lift up your needs.

To begin:

Sam's Wife, for healing
Miss Kay, Healing, strength from a medical condition
Our Nation for spiritual healing, and to find a Godly leader
Our Warriors everywhere for protection

I guess the best way to continue it forward is to cut and paste the list from the previous post and add yours. If your need has been answered and no more prayer is needed for it, then simply remove that person or request from the list.

Great job men!

Now, every time we read that list, precede the reading with "Father God" and pray those needs.

We can get these people prayed for several times a day!

Thanks

Don I agree! A bunch of people saying words will definitely be a help.

If I can offer a suggestion....at least for me I like to pray with a specific person in mind. So I added the original poster's name to the list for what they added. It will help me keep it straight. :) I'm open to whatever folks think.

Don: Sam's Wife, for healing

Thanks for the prayers, I told the wife you were all pulling for her & she very much appreciated it! Tonya went to her first post surgery appointment. Took X-rays, no infection, swelling is minimal & all the bones are aligned in the Dr's words "perfectly". I would say she is out of the woods & a full recovery is expected. Thank you & take her off the "official" list.

If you're wondering how many times these prayers are raised, watch the views on this thread. I'll bet a good nickel that just about every time someone logs on here they take a moment to pray over these requests...

Jerry, Duane's family friend (Read: Like Grand Pa) who was 72 was playing football with some 30 year olds.

72 playing football...get that part?

Goes out for a pass, jumps to catch it and lands wrong. The fall actually split his skull...brain swelling...he never woke up. They kept him on life support so his son could say good bye...He's gone.

Prayers for his family.

BTW, Duane tells me they actually transplanted his organs! They were good enough to do so!

Another praise report- the official results from the biopsy are negative for the Mrs. - she got the A-team when she went in, and the Dr. at that time said not to worry.  The lab work confirmed his assessment!  Thank you all for your uplifting prayers-

Matt,

As we approach that day and hour, keep us advised

Men of RM. Let's all take a knee and get quiet with our Father just before this procedure and lift Matt's brother up. All over the nation, maybe all over the world, wherever RM has reached. Let's all pray together that day.

Matt you come up with the time of the prayer for us to unite spiritually.

As I kneel before His throne of grace, I will include all these mentioned in my daily prayers.

It's the least I can do, having just recently had a successful heart surgery from which I am completely recovered and stronger than ever!

Good to hear Dave.
Matt, your brother will be in our thouhts and prayers.

Updat on HH6, out of boot and beginning rehab on missing calf muscle.
Thanks again everyone, and she can be removed now.

God bless.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

I think I am good to be removed from the specific prayer list.  I really do enjoy the list that I can look at and keep focused on in the back of my mind.

heavenly lord ,

I humbly ask that you can provide safe passage for me , my beloved son Maynard and my family's belongings to my end destination in WA state.

Folks, if the carpet cleaner can get finished in enough time tomorrow, ol' Nate will be heading out of this evil ridden desert for the more greener pastures of the PNW.  if things go as some what expected, all of the PNW RM brethren will have an invite for some of Nate's cookin at the beginning of July...............
If you need the promise of eternity in the kingdom of heaven to be a good person … You were never a good person in the first place!

If I can ask for some additional prayers for my Dad Gordon who is nearing the end of his journey. And for my Mom who has braved taking care of her partner through his sickness. I pray that they are both at peace as this occurs.

For my mother, Lurlie and all her animals. (infirmities abound)
For my cousin Sarah, in her battle with addiction.
For my cousin Ron who served his nation well, and serves You still. (leukemia, myocardial and cranial infarctions)
For my mother in law Mary, fighting cancer and mourning the suicide of her youngest son.

For all of you and your families in their various situations, may God's peace find you in these troubling times.

STAND!
