What a site, I am glad to have come here! I recall when flyin6 began SqaureD, followed that beauty for some time, then life took over and I stopped reading about dreams (read owning a truck like squareD). Recently wife and I were turned onto a crewcab 74 powerwagon and it seems as though we will be buying it. Figured I better get over here and start reading again. Oh and we live in Arizona. Anybody want to come over and help install a 12v and 5spd transmission into the truck?
I'm Glad to be here.

Welcome fellow desert dweller!
You out in here in AZ as well? Thankfully the "desert" we live in is high plains type desert and gets lost of moisture.

Casa Grande here. Today we got some water....a bunch, but that's not the norm.

Ahh, nice country.
Ignore Tex. No particular reason (except for his gross disfigurements). Just ignore him. :thumbsup

ken, I thought we weren't gonna tell people about tex's hunch back, gimp and the fact that he looks a spittin image of the hunch back minion with bulging eyes.............

Thanks everybody. I noticed when square d began a while back you guys had already become a good group of perceived knowledge. Or you are all very good at making things sound factual, so again thanks for all the welcomes and I am glad to be able to learn from some knowledgable folks.

Welcome Turner, glad to have ya here!
What just happened to your welcome is what I have a love/hate relationship with the guyz on the site. They never stick to the subject. You're saying hello and they are off talking about hunch backs...gotta love it (Either that or you'd go crazy!)
Hence the acronym DOT!

Somehow my trailer build just turned into a conversation about chinooks and cacti !!

Serves ya right!

Well I would say we both know there is plenty of that prickly stuff out here that we could share with the rest who are in this forum. Shoot, if a man raised saguaros he could make fortune, for some reason people want those things as yard art. I prefer to keep cacti away from me and my young one, as he would inevitably fall in it, just as many of us have done growing up.

el paso and fort bliss training area has plenty of them thank you.

So that's why it's called fort Bliss. Sounds like Eden to me. :rolleyes

I can believe it, drove through there on the move out here, terrain and plant life seem to be similar.
