Coincidentally: Watched "Lone Survivor" again last night - AND thought of all of you who've been there - in awe and gratitude.  Don, Duane, Bobby and Nate et al- thanks for continuing to "get back up"

Yes, but you flew the "Marcus Luttrell's" and could easily have been blown from the sky as was the Chinook in the film.......I respect all who've served, even those on supply/logistics/mess hall duty.  Bullets and chow don't sprout from the ground, and I've not heard of many modern warriors walking across the entire theater of battle.

I was nothing special but a dirt floor level grunt, manned by some of the greatest guys to walk the Valley.
