Title: Military Vehicles
Post by: KensAuto on September 21, 2014, 01:29:39 AM
If you have one of the toughest, factory built vehicles ever built, a military vehicle, this would be a great place to show it off.
POPP (plenty of pics please)....oh boy, now Don has me speaking in letters.
Here's an '83 AM General 925 5 ton I picked up last year.

We had a slack day at the shop and this was the result. Malibu didn't fair so well.
I had Tyeler mount his go-pro to the car, but it went dead not long into the mayhem. The video has cell phones spliced in, so it isn't that great.

One of the cheapest, easiest to aquire mil vehicles available since they're being phased out! (although 3-5mpg is a little hard to swallow).

Nice, Ken.  What are your plans for it?

Other than crushing cars,  we've taken it to the desert a few times, which is right across the street from my house....usually load the girls up in the back, and just put around. Makes a nice platform for watching fireworks also. Other than making a for a good GTHD vehicle,  I'm not too sure why I got it...just always wanted a deuce, and this (larger version) came up locally.

I tried to upload pics in here.  Submitted the post more than once.  It still hasn't shown up though.

I asked Admin for an answer. Will let you know when i know.

....So I talked to the top Dawg, and he says you're allowed to post, so it may be something like pics to large, or maybe something on you're end.

Haha not this time.  These pics were actually taken with my cell phone.  I didn't bother to bring the nicer camera with me.

Nick,

Use the Windows resizer tool, you can search it and download it

If it's a big file, resize it as a small or medium

I have been resizing into large size, but because so many people download and print the pics as a guide, I want the quality high.

But no worries, Don is paying for all this!!!!!!! :o

I didn't know there was a resizer in Windows.  I just throw them in MS Paint and resize down to 30% of original.

For what it is worth I have used GIMP for years. It is free and can do a whole host of things including re sizing and rotating images.

Yup, came out in windows XP and continued windows 7. With this newer piece of junk, windows 8, it was deleted...figures

So you have to find a copy and plug it back in...is what I did

No I do

But

DO NOT upgrade to Windows spyware, err I mean windows 10

It records everything you do...

Not that seven government agencies aren't already doing this, but I hate sneaky spies and spyware
