If you have a chance after you get some trigger time in, would you like to drop some reviews in the review thread?

Had my first cup of coffee in a week. No coffee while doing and audit is taxing, but I wanted to see how long until I grabbed coffee.

Copy, thanks Bobby. I?ve been eyeing a couple different one for awhile now but the price has stopped me short of pulling the trigger. They do look really nice though.

I do remember that I didn't really like the handle. It was smooth, I personally prefer some texture on the handles.

Knew a guy in Division who had one and loved it, however I haven't owned one or used on in a bit so I can't give you an honest opinion on them.

bobby, I know that this thread is OLD, but the cooking instructions is missing from your first post.

No worries. I never ended up trying them that weekend. Lol

1cup water bring to boil, add 1/2 cup quick oats, cook for 1 minute. I'd add the berries and other additions towards the end of the cooking minute.

No, no other ways to get in out in a truck sized vehicle. With a UTE, yes.

I have 2 working feet and some dead space I can get in there.

Alot of the farms and houses out in the country have those. They aren't too popular with people who have neighbors nearby as the smoke blows into their place. However, if I ever build a house I'm getting one of those. Digging trenches aren't hard.

11
...And I know what that means:

"Do it yourself, Chief!"

Lol never know.

12
Bobby, if I had a good NCO (wink wink) around the place, I'm sure Sarge would be pushing dirt with the new guy just fine!

Probably however I don't have a maintenance staff to work with on site with the required tools to complete the needed Motorpool Monday to make it run.

13
So you're working the private who still has motivation, meanwhile Sarge is in the corner with arthritis, back and knee issues and no coffee?

Well yesterday, I did a 5K in the morning with absolutely zero preparation. Who needs to run before a run.... After that I ran some errands with dad and my nephew. Saturday night I participated in a Suicide awareness walk.

This morning I woke up with a headache, threw my laundry in and grabbed some coffee. The rest of the day is still a mystery.

If I could accurately identify at 400 yards I?m probably pretty good with that. Depending on what I could buy for the money I?m thinking of buying two units and have them set up on ar platforms, potentially one on an ar10 even. And you have time, thinking Black Friday shopping time frame. Need to get jk axle and tire upgrade finished. Looking at aftermarket steering box setup currently and those aren?t cheap either.

If you are planning on waiting for Black Friday then I can take my time and get a decent report for you. A friend at work is looking at buying one pretty soon, not sure which; so if he does I can get some hands on and drop a review in the forum.

I do the same sometimes.  I don't mind the scammers nearly as much as the "tire kickers".  I might spend a couple hours talking to somebody/ setting a bumper up the way they want.  I might even jump into CAD and get a model setup and send them a couple screen shots.  Then they low ball you or try to trade a fish tank or something.

One the warranty is up on the jeep and I have this thing called money I might be contacting you. If you have the spare time for a jeep bumper in the future. But it's cool, I don't have a fish tank to trade for it...

I haven?t yet because I?m cheap! I?ve been watching the prices fall for last couple years. Thinking maybe a Black Friday purchase this year. I?d like to acquire a couple, kinda hoping you guys would chime in with some expertise. Thought maybe if I posted in here Bobby might even grace us with his presence.....

I actually just sent you a PM about something completely unrelated. As for NV scopes it's going to depend on:
how much you want to drop
how far you wish to see
how far you wish to see and accurately identify the object that has your attention

Give me some time to look and get some prices and links and I will type something better. So possibly this weekend if you can wait for a somewhat articulate response.

That's the one, I have the 3230 module..apparently the newer version. Tells time and I don't have to be careful with it, which is a plus.

POIDH  (we want pics)

I'm technologically disadvantaged. I can take a heuristic approach but I feel as if that wouldn't give the photographic evidence you require. Shorthand... actual camera broken, phone acting up.

Update:

The Suunto has been given a new task as my dive watch since it has a depthmeter built in, and the NATO strap makes it easier to secure over the wetsuit and gloves.  A recently (within the last couple months) purchased GShock DW-6900MS has taken over all duties as a daily wear watch.

However assuming I get around to using my last 48 hours of vacation for actual vacation and not random things I wouldn't be against a roadtrip to Nate's area for some BBQ.

I?m sure we could coax Bobby south for some ?I hate you? meal and Makers.

Not even good BBQ and I hate you meals would make me go to Chicago. I detest cities... When I go to visit family in Southern Mississippi I drove down the middle of the state to avoid Milwaukee and Chicago.

However thanks for the invite.

if I could figure out the pressure canning time, I would can some up for you and send it your way.

Yea better not forget to send some this way.

Leave it the way it is and get it running. No need to swap transmission at this point. However if the cost to fix is more than you wish to put on the line, then sell it and look for a new project, like the XJs you want to build. How many headaches have you had since this project started and how many do you think you're going to continue to have whilst fighting the timelines?

You can potentially part it out or sell whole and cover the cost of purchasing and most upgrades/fixes on the potential XJs or a new project, or fix Sarge or get something you need down on the farm.

the army calls that sensor to shooter.  they get the enemy to reveal their artillery and air defense pieces with a decoy while they (we) have artillery pieces layed in wait/preperation to destroy them or observation birds to mark their locations for bombers or other fixed win aircraft to destroy them.

I know this.

He wants to go to West point. I asked him what he planned for a career after the Army. He looked at me with a confused expression. "Dad, Being an officer in our Army is all I plan to do."

You really need to get some NCOs over there...

General Vehicle Related Discussion / Re: Thinking of buying a XJ

Nothing wrong with an XJ. You appear to have some mechanical/welding abilities () and I'd assume the kid can turn a wrench as well so any problems that pop up could be addressed pretty quick. What I'd do assuming I was getting another XJ (which I want to do...)

1. weld some reinforcement plates along the unibody

2. liberally spray wd40 and/or breakfree on pretty much every nut/bolt within eye sight., let it sit for a bit then do it again.

3. Rip the carpeting out and check the floor pans for holes or weld in new floor pans.

4. Prepare to replace the plugs/wires, actual oil change and maybe other fluid swap.

Wanna take care of my Jeep for me while you're at it?

Also it wasn't today but yesterday after work, I found out my Jeep has a block heater. Apparently the previous owner never used it either as it was still ziptied up in a corner of the engine bay.

All in the wording of the ad. Much like the overuse of the word tactical to sell items.
