Wow Dave.  That?s just pure insubordination. Hard to fix stupid. I haven?t got a lot of Millennials but try this book. ?Not Everyone Gets a Trophy? it?s gives some insight into their thought process and motivation.

I?m sure at your company it?s bureaucratic as well but when you want to manage someone out it usually takes way too much effort and time because of all the documentation. I?ve always been successful helping them understand that they aren?t going to make it and need to leave on their own.  It?s so difficult that it really makes you want to get better at hiring the right people in the first place.

Thanks for allowing me the cathartic rant last night.  9 hours of coaching and I lose most of my emotional intelligence. I mostly have a great team. It?s the 20% that drive you nuts.

I was told early in my leadership career in the Army that a leader spends 90% of his time on 10% of his men.  It has been proven not just in the Army but civilian life as well.

My Wife took me there.  She has been kind of strongly hinting for a while that she wanted me to get a newer truck.  We talked budget and I looked at the upcoming maintenance costs and we decided to do something.  This is the decision we made taking into account our goals and needs.  They came up from 15 K for my truck to 20 and dropped almost 6K on there's so we got to a place we are comfortable with.  I had the old one for 10 years this month and bought it when it was 2.  I guess they call this a pattern.

Prayers sent for good news.

An update on my wife.  Her foot is healing nicely and the pain has really subsided for her.  She only has 4 more weeks until she can put weight on it.

You are in mine as well.

I have been tardy adding one. My wife had surgery yesterday to remove a bone chip in the outside edge of her left foot.  She was home last night doing fine.  That thing was the size of a pencil eraser and imbedded in the tendon.  She has to be off it for 6 weeks. No touching the floor. I have 2 weeks time off to help thankfully.

Down here we can kill them by the truck load too, all year.  They are good eating.  Hard on a knife blade but you fix that by using a razor knife for the hide.  I have used a bow, muzzle loader, AR or anything that makes good deer medicine.

Father in heaven, I want to lift these families up to you. I don't know the reason or details of either situation but you do. Please give them comfort in your peace and mercy and love. Please reveal your plans to us in your Time and give us the patience to wait and the strength and courage to live for you. Everything you do brings glory to you. We have confidence in that and in you Lord. Amen

That is a lot of dear but with the population, it is doable.  Also, the deer are not from Iowa.  The are from coastal GA.

Last weekend my son and I both scored on a buck with 10 minutes of each other.  He gives me a hard time because he was first and his is bigger so I told him that I put him in the best spot.  Then I spent the next 3 evenings processing meat.

So far I have about a thousand cases through the prep center.  It works as advertised and is quick.  The trimmer is very consistent once set, which didn't take long.

Plan A is the route that I would follow more than likely as well.

Does the tailgate close?
Nope

It has been awhile but I seen to remember hinges for these tailgates that extended due to long loads such as generators or commo rigs.  Maybe you can fab up a couple hinges and top fasteners allowing the same thing.

Yes, feet.  Fat fingered the shift key.  Matthew was the first in quite a while to come into the GA coast and now here is another potentially.  How is everything going in your neck of the woods?

Starting Hurricane prep.  We are bugging in.  At 79" elevation and 40 miles straight line from the coast just south of savannah, we will ride it out like last time.  Good on generator, bottled water, food, meds, security equipment, fuel for all types of vehicles and equipment.  Clearing up potential flying and or falling debris and taking pics and video of stuff.

I had a 11 model ford with the 6 cyl for work.  Same cab and bed.  Great mileage but would barely get out of its own way.  I had 184xxx on it when I totaled it a couple weeks ago.  I am not a ford man, but it was the bosses so I ran the daylights out of it.  I never had any issue with the bed hop on it and mostly only had a cooler in the back. Rarely loaded or towing anything, thank goodness.

47
I use the same pump setup on my tank.  I would recommend the swivel for the fuel line to save wear and tear on the hose at the filter end.  I learned that lesson and added a swivel while replacing the line.
