Firearms / Micro 9mm

I have been looking into picking up a micro 9mm for an EDC. I was originally looking at getting a Kimber micro 9 but after reading online there seems to be concerns with the build quality and having some issues. Then i started ready about the Sig p365 and the springfield hellcat. Does anyone have an options on these?

Powerplant, Driveline, and Braking / LS3 Connect & Cruise

Anyone have thoughts or experience with GM's connect and cruise create motor? I am think about buying one for my dad. He is restoring a '57 Chevy Truck. Right now he has a 327 in it. I recently came into some inheritance and im thinking about getting this for him since he would never do it himself.

I live outside of DC where land is expensive. I spent my summers on my grandparents farm in southern ohio so gardening reminds me of those days. My wife and I lived in a townhouse closer to DC and moved out to our current house with 1.5 acres 3 years ago. I started with a simple garden.

I originally signed up when the site was created, coming over from duramax. I have a '13 2500 hd with some cosmetic stuff but starting to think about deleting (just need to convince the wife). Ive been following all the build threads and figured i would introduce myself and probably post something on the gardening section. Ive in Northern VA, suburbs of DC and am a civil engineer.

Also, use to have an '02 duramax. Pics below
