Gosh dang I don’t think they have a motor small enough for this little motor to turn.
I can see if I can source a new motor too. Hadn’t thought of that

Do you guys get cold enough for concrete blankets?
Moving those things freaking sucked!!! The Crete heats up enough to melt the bottom of the snow, then as the mud cures the water then freezes into ice making the whole blanket solid!! Snow and construction don’t mix

Wish my tune was better for that. Love to break em loose in 2-3. I know the tranny will hold up.
How is that trans doing? Love it or hate it? Did you ask him about transmission tuning? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The bother next will be the tank, I tapped on it here and there and it doesn’t sound hollow but ya never really know
Rebuild the head then the tank pops. My thoughts anyway

I doubt its the motor. Probably in the compressor head. Either rings on the piston or the reed valves in the head.

Are these things worth looking at do ya think? I’m in the comp about $45 bucks with brass fittings now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok I have sourced a new valve, I have installed it and ran for forty min. No more pressure on the tank over 60psi. Next suggestion? Bad motor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Concrete for the win in ever instance. Less maintenance. Washes up nice.
I think you should be able to copy what they do at the large super stores.
If for sure try to source something before I did it

Used some fins and feathers seasoning and butter. Smoke at 275 till meets temp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pretty sure I told guys on our finish crew they could go work at Starbucks and get paid better then they were with our company, plus they give medical, they give school tuition also I think Those are pretty good considering the base dem went so far left. The middle of both parties are pretty similar. The issue is non of them are on the middle. Oh oh oh wait Mitt Romney is lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A friend of mine called asking if I needed something to tinker with while out of work. He says the compressor motor runs, says it only builds so much air and that amount of air won’t run any tools of fill up any tube/tire of any sort. Via previous conversation I need to replace this part. Subsequently I also need to replace the little brass fitting that goes into the side to pressurize the switch also. Oops I broke the tab off . Suggestions on where to look for said parts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sam I assume the snow acts as a coat of insulation and doesn’t let it freeze under it, kind of similar to my driveway when it’s warm and snows, the concrete is wet and the snow shovels off nice until the wind blows anyway

I don’t own the dewalt, borrowed one for a trip because I didn’t want to take a big saw. It works well but in the end I still love the smell of a classic 2-stroke motor

Friend stopped by this Am to give me a hand unloading my bike from the truck since I apparently can do that. He brought me an early Christmas gift Produced in between 1973-1983 as a hobby saw, but used by many in professional use, The history of Stihl is really neat to read about and how they are a debt free company, 3100 employees in the US and other plants around the country I’ll be looking for some parts, choke switch is missing, it has a nasty little knock in the motor, so maybe some bearings or a new crank. Time will tell I’d like to build a little “hot saw” with some porting and maybe a high compression position or maybe kill the head down a little bit for higher compression. Keep us updated on the spatchcock bird Charles. Mine last year was really dry
I was riding with a much younger group and definitely lacking in practice on my part, I forgot simple steps for sand riding like lower tire pressure (3psi) in front tire, physical stretching, and speed is the key
I miss read a corner, it pushed or blew out the corner as I forced to throttle through it. That all set me up to far to the right side of a drop, more throttle would have saved it or at least flown me over what I ultimately landed on. I speed checked at the lip instead of WOT and landed on a opposing direction slope which put my bars into the uphill flying from there was all I remember until coming to covered in pain and sand.

Gotcha. I see where your talking now. I source one of those and a fitting for the air chuck. Must have left all of that stuff with the framing trailer Picked up a new orbital buffer at the dewalt tool sale 5” brushless orbital with 2500-5500 rpm and trigger not switch for throttle control Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
