Don, Dave is on a roll. Yes I think a conduit would be ideal so you can pull wires after the fact. Or a removable panel so you can access the channel later..
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I think with his wood interior it would look just fine to skin over the gap with his 3/4 strips he used. Just simply hide the wires inside. I am going to actually run metal conduit on my walls when wall covering is done. I did see one where a guy polished copper pipe and ran that as conduit. It looked cool for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s is a dream finished trailer. Let’s see some inside photos of thAt.
I agree with the 6.0. With such a bad reputation people let them go for a lot less cash then a 7.3 and they had a newer looking body shape.

I am long ways away from a Jeep but I’ll bet getting with you when we reach that point.
Trailer got moved up the priority list to now, pay off the truck, finish landscape, than look at options on fancy RV, fancy SXS, momma a new vehicle
So from that point I will push a Jeep instead of sxs and go that direction

I have two of the three windows These will go approximately centered over the wheel well n each side of the trailer. Not sure on the height but I plan on measuring my dinner table and adding a few inches to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Two questions.
Why are you going to spray foam the wire compartment? Wouldn’t that impede further expansions for for what reason? Damage wire that needs replaced? Need to add power to a side light for the kitchen oops I foamed my wire tray.
Second. Where are the links to these things? Water pump: Electric inverter: Water heater powered by D cell batteries and propane? :

As of this last week Purchased 16 sheets of https://www.homedepot.com/p/R-Tech-1-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-R-3-85-Insulating-Sheathing-320821/202532854I pulled all of the 1/2 ply from the walls so that I could put insulation between the wall studs. The first side of the trailer I used a long razor knife and a straight edge and it took forever!! Second night I brought home the shop trailer and used our table saw which made real short work of this. I pre measured each stud height and width and labeled each gap so I could see from outside the trailer and got ripping sheets into sizes that fit snug, I slipped the insulation behind the S shape Chanel and used the exterior screws poking through to hold her in place. Press fit for a tight fit. I added some duct tape to the studs but I figure it was mostly a waste and won’t continue. So far I can’t get my laptop to work so I can’t draw a picture of what I would like to do. I’ll work on it. Basic idea is up front with some built in cabinets. A water tank under the front cabinet below the sink. A plug in fridge/ cooler and a shower and toilet up front also More to follow unless I get out a pen and paper lol. Stupid laptop and solid works won’t open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Converting my enclosed trailer into a camp trailer. To start Purchased a bare bones enclosed trailer nothing special Six lug axles for a 6k haul capacity Some Led lights on the outside and a man door Next was develop a list of needs and a list of wants Need: Ability to haul all associated bikes n quads, future SXS maybe Beds for 6 minimum Mom n dad Twins n older brother Plus 1 Heat Air conditioning Running water Wants: Solar Toilet Shower Carpeted area So for the most part this will be pretty bare bones and when the boys and Dad go play we will take this and when momma goes or gets more into it look for future fifth wheel toy hauler combo. I started out by adding some floor hooks to haul stuff, than as previous posts showed it got loaned out and was very displeased with the way it was returned. Me and Momma decided to build as previously planned and make it a whole lot less usable for others. So here we are..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I worked in the stereo shop business ( think long ago) we used the Dynamate product which has many others like it for sound deadening. Trunks, roofs, inside fenders. Everywhere that a box full of subwoofers would make rattle. We used to use these to press In that type of liner. Can you take a closer photo of the glides you put horizontal vs vertical. My thinks is they will pop with some weight on them. It looks like a standard drawer glide and if you pull it apart the arm from the bearings. The only thing holding the weight is the bearings in the track. I’d suggest building a tray like in the burb or Teflon skids or I can go through a catalog at work and see but I am guessing your limited to height because of the cooler dimensions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dave, they are of the same design as a drawer slide, I think, but way, way heavier.
I was pushing down on the slide with it extended, and I could get deflection, but that's it. Have you worked with the industrial slides? That's what these are, maybe 30-35 pounds for the pair.
I'll check all that out tomorrow when I get back from cutting firewood
And yes, had to go flat or I'd be sacrificing 3" height to get them in there vertical.
I have worked with lots of and many types I pose you build a U shape tray to hold your cooler. You can save your height and continue to have the structural strength of the glides. Width would be sacrificed but... I think it’s worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They are friends. I did tell him what I expected when borrowed, I did speak on the phone today and none of my issues were anything to them. So lick my wounds I guess, never loan my stuff out, the return it better than borrowed is apparently a lost life lesson
Going to start my build process on the trailer, make it usable for my family as it’s intended purpose, no one will be able to use it once all of our moto stuff is inside, and it’s converted similar to the pop top trailer Don is building. Except four times the size lol

Loaned a trailer out this last two weeks. Trailer came back in less then desirable condition. Wet( yes it went snowmobiling some water to be expected) the tongue jack appears to be bent ( crank now hits the jack when operated) there are tie downs that were damaged/cut from the user. And a small panel removed on accident. Not sure how to approach the bower about my displeasure. It’s now in the garage drying out. Going never loan it again and start the build process to make it a camp trailer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think push button would be way better then hydro shocks, I can’t keep a set on my truck shell for more than a year. At least with an electric motor you have ease and longevity. Plus when Don adds solar panels, a bike/kayak/kobota rack to the roof. The rams will drive them selves.
How is the suburban doing?

Would you please post a link or identification for your roller glides you have for the fridge and the generator?
We installed some 4” pull out glides for a home. $150 a drawer but rated for 800 or so pounds in the drawer. Terrible install process but man where they smooth!!
